  Once I click on the print command, the printer does not start.  I unplugged the electric, reconnected power.  the USB unplugged and then replugged.  Uninstalled the priter and reinstalled, checked the update of the driver.  Still no results

  Try this add-on from https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/universal-print/ , it uses its own icon with the color that should be better visible then the default dark gray print button.

  Internet Explorer toolbar?

  If Yes, open Internet Explorer > right-click on one of the icons such as House, security, etc etc, Page > click Customize > click Add or remove commands > box on the left, scroll and select printer > click Add in the Middle > printer is now on the right box > if you want to move it to a specific location, click on it and use the button move up or move down > click on close when finished.
