  Hi all

  Anyone know how to custom (new WF) WF as a service catalog? I know how to do it with the construction in WF (creating object data center or clone the new virtual machine) but no idea how to get started with new WF.

  Without detail this in great detail, the basic scheme is as follows:

  1.) create a new service. Call it what you like. I called the spirit Custom Workflows. Create your catalog item and set up your rights as you would with any other article of service catalog to ensure the proper authorization.

  2.) tab select Advanced-> Service Blueprints services-> add a new (greener) service model. Select your workflow. Finish the rest of the steps. Once complete and you return to the "Catalog" tab, you will see the new custom workflow service catalog item that you created.

• Time zone problems

  How so I know what time zone is mine?

  I live in Trinidad and Tobago.

  Trinidad and Tobago are in UTC - 4:00 time zone. To change this, click the Start button. On the right side, click on Control Panel. Then click on clock, language and region. Under the date and time, click on change of time zone. A new window will open. In this window, click on change of time zone.  Then select the UTC-4:00 option. This should solve the problem.

• VCAC Advanced Service Designer doesnto fill all users of AD - creating a custom catalog article.

  I am unable to find all users created in the ad in the advanced Service VCAC6.0.1 Designer. I checked the endpoint settings and changed the Grp and the DN of the user to the root search. It's kind of stop my work for a while now. Your help would help to clear the obstacle.

  It worked when the changed search user DB in the endpoint of advanced to cn = users, Dc = XXXXX, DC = XXXX... now I see new users, I created are populated...

  In my application, user publishes his message and my application saves the message in the database with his Post, (server time)
  However, I have to convert it by showing the user.
  
  I tried * #{request.timeZone} * to get the time zone of the user, but unfortunately it shows the time zone of the server.
  Is it possible that I can get the time zone of the client?

  you're on JDeveloper 11 or use Trinidad with 10.1.3? Whatever it is, the solution is to use client-side JavaScript and a hodden field to pass information to the server. Using ADF Faces RC you would be able to transmit this information to a listener to server on the server and keep it in a user bean

• Time zone / problems of the DST with XP mode VM in Windows 7

  Hi all.  I seem to have problems keeping straight time with my XP Mode VM under Win 7 Pro64.

  To the EAST, 2000 server is set to active TimeZones.  (Yes, it's old, we know!)
  My Win7 box is set to the active EAST of TimeZones.
  My computer XP mode virtual running under Win7 is set with DST enabled East.

  The server time is right.
  The time of Win7 is right.
  The XP VM is 1 hour late, and I can't change the time manually. (Jumps to 1 time in seconds)
  Files modified on the XP VM and stored on the server get time stamped 2 hours before the current time.

  New idea of what to check is greatly appreciated!  Thank you!

• Q10 guest - zone problem blackBerry calendar event

  Hi all!

  I've just switched back to BlackBerry, iPhone and love everything about it so far except for one thing: calls on the calendar time zone problems.

  My work using an OS X hosted the CalDAV server, and I was able to sync my existing calendars to it without problem.

  My timezone: Eastern

  My colleagues timezone: Central

  Question: I received an invitation from a colleague, and on my Mac, it shows 13:00 Eastern, as it should.  The invitation has been sent to 12:00 Central.  This same invitation appears on my BlackBerry at 07:00 Eastern.

  Completed test:

  I added an invitation on my BlackBerry at 06:00 Eastern as a test and it appeared on my Mac at the right time without problem.

  I added an event on another day of my Mac, and it synced to my BlackBerry without problem.

  So it seems that my problem is that when the receiver event invites others, possibly in different time zones.

  My Mac and BlackBerry are both set to the Eastern time.

  My co-workers Mac and iPhone are set to Central time.

  I looked at all the parameters BB and can't find anything that would explain this strange behavior.

  I tried a battery pull - same results.

  I'm on the latest OS available for a Q10: 10.2.1.2976

  Can anyone help with this?  I'd hate to go back to iOS for a question like this, however, a precise and reliable timetable is essential for my work.

  Another update:

  Only, the lady came back on the line and told me that it is a known problem that is "actively investigated."  When asked how long their ticket has been opened on this subject, I was told since September of 2013...

  It seems that there is no resolution for this problem.  I will go back to iOS

• Time zone offset problems

  I use a system where I have a Linux server and Windows clients.  The software is running is for security cameras, and it compares between the server and the client time zone offsets to determine what time to display for the recorded video events.  The problem is that Linux thinks I'm in GMT - 05:00, which is correct, and Windows think I am GMT - 06:00, which is false.

  Both are set up for Central time, and the two report the correct time despite the different offsets.  I'm assuming that Windows maintains the offset based on the time zone, and then applies in addition an advanced time of savings (DST) offset because if I turn off the DST, the offset is the same.  In any case, something is wrong.  He is not much of interest to mention the system that I'm under because it is obscure and who will not help.  But the time zone difference time lags is the problem.

  For what it's worth, this happens on several Windows XP and 7 computers.  An Android client works correctly, but is based on Linux, so not a surprise.

  Anyone know what the problem is with Windows time zone does not properly?

• Problem change time zones

  Why pre schedule changing time zones automatically when you travel across the country?  It's very frustrating!  If I'm in Los Angeles Monday and spread the word of a meeting in New York at 12:00 (noon) Wednesday, I just want to put the meeting in my diary for Wednesday at noon. But after traveling across the country, my appointment for Wednesday has moved before 3 hours on my calendar because he thinks that I had the meeting scheduled for 12:00 WEST COAST TIME. Today's meeting shows a 15:00 start time. If I change time zone once again, the meeting on my calendar moves again to reflect the change. My old Palm trees did not do that.  The iphone does not.  I think it's just too ask us to perform calculations of zone in our heads before entering appointments.  PLEASE SOLVE THIS PROBLEM AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.

  This feature can be disabled if the zone will not be updated but the time will be even.

  If you open your launcher and then look for a date and time (normally on the 3rd page). Once in here turn off "network time zone" in this way the zone will not update when traveling anywhere.

  I use Managed Driver version 4.121.1.0 with EF. Trying to extract data from a table that contains a column what data type is TIMESTAMP WITH time ZONE SCHEDULE, I get a "System.InvalidTimeZoneException" in Oracle.ManagedDataAccess.dll.

  This bug has been fixed in Oracle DB 12.1.0.1.6 patch bundle which can be downloaded from My Oracle Support (MOS). After you download the patch bundle, you'll notice that it's a pretty important download. There is no need to install the patch to the entire group on your target computer. Instead, simply extract the managed provider and just install it.

  If you do not have access to MOS, ask your DBA that should, or you can wait for the next version of the ODAC for the fix.

  In Lightroom 1.4, change time system in Windows XP changes the capture time!

  It sounds crazy... I take photos in different time zones and have the camera well positioned in this time zone (or adjust it to be correct in Lightroom). I wouldn't rather my zone schedule system "Bangkok" to see correctly the data for the pictures of Thailand.

  Someone at - it solution or workaround? What is this problem fixed in LR 2?
