timestamp XY-graph question

Hi all

I'm sure that it's simple, but I can't understand what is wrong with my xy-graph. I read a timestamp string to a waveform data file and convert it into a timestamp format. I then traced data vs. time.

The timestamps look OK, but the plot is all out of whack. I have attached a simple example. Can someone help me and see what I'm doing wrong?

Thank you!

Hi Kevin,.

I think that the plot it correct because there is no data for almost 1 month IE 06/09/2012-09-7 - 2012.Please check again.

Kind regards

I'm trying to write a 2D table in a spreadsheet file and draw the same picture for a XY Chart simultaneously. The data consist of pairs of random numbers between 0 and 1, which I consider to be coordinated. When these points are graphically represented, they appear initially flattened against the horizontal axis. After some time (it varies according to the number of points) these points miraculously orient themselves properly. Anyone know what I am doing wrong? I've included my vi and a link to a video showing the problem.

Your code in gnereal is incredibly complicated, and everything you do with redistribution and subsetting which seems totally wrong. (create a KPI on the cluster goes the graph to see the actual values. They are not right!)

Here's what I would do instead (or similar).

I have a strange problem with my Satellite Pro (P100-109 model pspa3e 00n009du). I edge video card printing is letting me down, so if anyone has a solution so please help!

Yesterday, while working properly since I bought the machine, I had a strange video behavior. Black icon arround windows not updated correctly etc.
After a restart of the system, these problems seemed resolved, but it lasted just a view minutes.
After awhile, I got a blue screen (BCCode: ea BCP1...) BCP4:00000001 SP: 2.0) learned Internet research that his had to do with the video driver.

    Symptoms of the display:
-Vertical dotted lines shown on the screen of the bios toshiba (variety of colors)
-Loading of Windows show a few vertical lines as well
-After loading the clickable elements appear black (not titles of window - no buttons shown/rendering)
-L' screen goes black every 4 seconds
-System responds very slowly, but sometimes it seems that it works normally
    -mouse disappears
-After awhile that I get a black screen, system does not answer more.
-In windows safe mode (so do not using the nvidia drivers), the display seems to work normally

DID the next trying to solve my problem in vain:

-J' I uninstalled/removed the nvidia drivers and installed the last on the toshiba site.
-Deletion of original and installed drivers drivers Guru3D site (also used the Driverutility from the same site).
-J' I uninstalled/removed the nvidia drivers and installed the original
    -Upgrade to SP3

Uninstalling the driver (in safe mode) and so to use a generic driver only seem to work.

Anyone know how this can be resolved or are these signs that the nVidia GeForce Go 7900 has been roasted.

    Hello

    Long story. short answer...

It is really possible that your GPU chip malfunctions.

I came to this conclusion because the laptop don t symptoms occur if the graphics driver is not installed.
If the graphics card driver is installed the graphics card would go with the best performance and possibly graph questions would appear once again.

I think that you can't do anything to what might solve this problem outside to contact the ASP in your country and ask for help.

  • Blue screen after downloading DirectX

    original title: Possible graphics problem

The story is: I came across the site to download DirectX programs. Once the download is complete, I guess that the downloaded file itself stuck on the original file, but I suddenly got the blue screen and my computer off. I'm not a stranger to it, but when I'm ready to understand the problem, my computer would not start. Of course, I see the screen saying that windows did not close properly and to recommend that I have run the Startup Repair tool. However, when I press on enter, the screen appears again. I chose "Start Windows normally" and the computer did a disk check. It restarted again, but on my computer, when loading Windows there is a small bar that crosses the screen several times. It is usually on about 15 to 20 seconds, but he remained for more than a minute, this time, then the cut screen (which is normal), and then it restarted abruptly again. I remembered that there is a way to do a system restore without having to connect, so I tried it, and the computer restarted again. I tried to run safe mode, but that no longer works. It just seems like anything where the mouse can run does not load. I don't know if it's a kind of graph question because I am trying to download DirectX, but it seems that he. Moreover, in the start menu, I chose "LAN start" and he said that it was a test of media or something, but then he says that the test failed and to check the cable. There was a code, but I forgot. Something with a P. I don't know what cable it means or if this could be a factor. Any help would be appreciated.

    Hello

Everything you did corrupt the existing installation. Using the option boot LAN would do nothing for you, that is used to install windows from a network, not repairs.

Your best bet would be loaded from the recovery console or safe mode with system restore command prompt. If this fails, you might have to reinstall Windows to repair the file system damage. You will need a Vista installation disc to access the Recovery Console, from here, you can run rstrui.exe to start the system restore.

You questions'are running one of the code and patch of ACS more stable if we are talking about ACS - AD. I don't know that it should not be a problem with the ACS. Something is not configured correctly. Most likely a problem of DNS or NTP.

In order to deepen and to know what might be the causes, you will need to provide some information and newspapers when it happens again.

1.] we have ACS currently running on the machine or Vmware?

2.] when you say that it is in the disconnected state, you see do both authentication failed or it shows just disconnected status. In case of failure, what is the error, we get in the section logging ACS? In addition, you can see test connection arrive at positive results?

3.] what is the status of the customer-ad on the CLI service, can be verified with "view the status of the acs application" when you say its disconnected?

4.] in addition, when you try to join again while it is disconnected, you see an error? can you share?

5.] more importantly, debug level logs would tell us the real story. Before you reproduce the problem, we must look at the newspapers to the debug level. (If this can not be reproduced then wait the issue reproduce)

    Go to the ACS CLI:

Yes, it's a unique id to the timestamp.

My question is can I specify the name format for outgoing file?

In your FILES/FTP/SFTP channel, you can specify the format of file name personalized (with some restrictions) in setting "filename Format". Please look for "Filename Format" here.

  • Tektronix 3052 b timestamp question

I think that this question will apply to many, if not all scopes for LabView interface, but it's the one that I tend to use.  I have managed to connect the field of LabView application over the network and can run the demo applications quite well.

The particular test that I am running is that awaits a coming special trigger, after that is captures 10,000 samples of 1 microsecond increments each.

If I don't have LabView and export the data file directly, it has a timestamp value that is right; check-in starts at-40 microseconds (that's the point that the scope begins to record the sample) and flows through ten following time milliseconds.

The time stamp that is acquired by LabView, is however, formatted in this format:

    7:00:00.009 PM
    31/12/1903

I was able noodles autour with parameters in time waveform diagram time string Date and get the display on the screen to display microseconds by entering a string "6u %" in the time format string string date/time format.  However, there are two outstanding issues:

    1. the string that is exported to Excel ends by displaying the calendar stuff.  No amount of playing with settings in Excel doesn't allow me to reduce the string to a single integer representing the number of microseconds past

    2. the point of departure - t0 - always by default is "0", which means that the data are not aligned to the correct microseconds in the graph of the wave.

I've seen examples in the online support files, and that's how I got the point of being able to display microseconds.  No one seems to have attacked, however, the problem simply allow the exit number by the scope as "t0" to the passage in the spreadsheet file.  Anyone got any ideas?  There is little for me...

    Thank you

    Danielle

Thought this might help; the graphic on the screen updates correctly, but the spreadsheet contains too much junk and not in the right format or starting point in time (see attachment)

You can have any desired accuracy. Just change the format specifier.

If you don't know what that means, put running context-sensitive help (which you should have any time, in any case), and move your mouse on the entry in the spreadsheet file.

  • questions about XY graph

Hi, I think that a lot of people have already asked this question, but I couldn't find a solution to my problems below.

    1. I would like to draw multiple axes on the same x-axis (time) using XY charts. The reason I use the XY graphs is that I have given (amplitude and timestamp) in a table, so it would make sense to directly draw the berries as it is, rather than using a loop for draw 1 item at a time.
    2. I like to stack several axes just as maps of waveform to XY charts, don't know if it's possible to do?

Did anyone tried something like this before?

No, but I'll ry to explain. From the end of the expression and working to the left.

Incubators - a cluster with two values, an X and a Y. The cluster is a point chart.

Tables of business incubators - the table is one of the plots on the chart.

Clusters of... - LV don't let you do paintings of paintings (which would be a 2d table) so each piece wraps in a cluster.

  • Question of Timestamp of average output DC - RMS.vi

I'm having a problem with the timestamps on the output waveform RMS value of the DC - RMS VI on average. For some reason, it is as if the time will speed almost triple! This can be seen in a graph shaped wave, as well as when data is stored in a file. When the VI of DC - RMS average is removed the timestamps back to the correct speed.

See the timestamps in the lower right data attached maps. The plot at the top of the page uses the VI DC - RMS average is not the case of the background plot. Both ran for the same amount of time, but as you can see the upper trace got about 18 seconds before the background plot.

You need to reset your average with each iteration. I'll be honest, I don't know exactly why you need to do this, but it solves the problem and you get a beautiful curve of RMS who remains with the timestamps of the RAW files.

Edit: It seems that something weird happens with the value of t0 after VI RMS does its thing. The t0 of the waveform of the RMS is to jump before t0 of the raw data of 0.08 seconds each iteration. It should be always 0.08 sec higher, but for some reason it is additive without resetting the filter.

Edit2: You also get a corresponding timestamp if you change the type of averaging exponential instead of linear default value. The curve is slightly different but because you now get an average including the previous data, not only the most recent points being on average.

  • Precise timestamp on the graph of the band with scrolling

I have a user interface with a set of synchronized graphics that operate in mode scrolling stripchart.  The elevator of the x-axis is visible on one of the cards, and the operator has the ability to take a break from the update of this table (essentially locking the entrance to the chart) and scrolling in a bit of history.  The width of the graph is about one minute of data, the number of points has been set to allow about an hour to scroll of history.  Other maps which are synchronized with the main chart have the x-axis property nodes attached, so that they follow the scrolling of the main graphic.

Everything works fine with the current configuration, except for one small detail: the timestamps.  I put date and time stamping visible on the x-axis of the main graphic, so that operators know exactly when any aberration in the data actually took place.  I have seen a few entries in how add real timestamp, but none of them seemed to work properly.  They work very well on a standard sight, but fail miserably once the scrolling action is activated, so I have to do something wrong.

Any suggestions on the best way to get this accomplished timestamp?  It's absolutely crazy to me how much pain is to put a timestamp to the real real world in a graphic...  As someone who constantly defends LabVIEW against colleagues who claim that it is "too difficult" to use it, it's kind of embarrassing when a thing so simple becomes so complicated in LabVIEW!

The short answer is that this is impossible with a graphic if you add the requirement to be able to take a break. The reason is simple - a chart stores data on its own, but it saves all the values of X - you give only values Y and for the X values he simply uses the index of the value and the most you can do is set a t0 and delta t for the X scale. This works normally, but does not work when you stop feeding data to the chart, because the value of X is not stored. I heard someone say once a waveform graph does not allow this, but I've never looked into it and I'm not sure that's true.

What you can do is use a graphic instead of a chart - in a graph, you provide values X and Y for each point, so you can have absolute time for the x-axis values. The key point is that, to a chart, you must provide all the data to draw, you must maintain a circular buffer of the data yourself. You can do this by using a queue with loss, when you preview the queue to get the data, but there are also some examples online, as well as in the finder of the example, if you search for 'XY Chart'.

  • Export the graph to image: a few questions

    A few questions.

    (1) what does export average image "simplified"?

    (2) the invoke node export the Image export the image or simplified?

    (3) export the image to a .eps file, what I get is a picture of real vector graphic?

    Thank you

    (1) simplified - essentially data plots in graphical format, - without control shadows, white background, solid black grid lines. Try to copy it to the Clipboard, paste into paint, you'll see.

    (2) export Image - simplified (only for graphics). Get the picture - picture of the graph (any control)

    (3) generally labview does not know the vector graphic images, and maybe that this exception, since it is simplified to the rowset.

  • Question on how to data field/table/graph xy

    Hello-

I currently have a VI which reads in information through the DAQ Assistant, in two tables of waveform (load / time) and the displacement / time. I would like to be able to take this information and draw another (load vs displacement). I have converted the sets of dynamic data from the charts of waveform in both ways (load and displacement) and then them grouped in an array of clusters. I tried adding a waveform chart in the table of cluster, however it does not seem to be traced. (It is located in a loop so that it must constantly be updated because the control is underway.)

I would appeciate any help you may have. Please let me know if you have any questions.

    Thank you for your time.

A graph is just simply not true, if you want to draw one table against another. This is what a XY chart is for. Just take your existing arrays and group them together. If you turn on the context-sensitive help (and it really takes on all the time) on the block diagram and move your mouse over the graph, it shows you exactly how to wire the data. Given a graph is a no story, you will need to implement if necessary. There is a graphic called example XY or just look for the Board of Directors. Many examples that use a couple of shift registers. The graph XY Express can be used as well.

Don't know why you want in a separate loop. Place it next to your written chart would make as much sense.

Why are you applying to_timestamp to something that is already a timestamp?

    TO_TIMESTAMP converts a string to a timestamp.

You need to_char to convert a timestamp into a string with the format required when you want to display it.

    Select to_char (systimestamp-1, 'dd-mon-yyyy hh24:mi:ss') twice;

for example (or another string format, you need).

    Thanks in advance,

    Then, when you do

    create table t (neck DATE);

    Insert into t (to_date ('1st January 2014', ' mon-dd-yyyy "");)

Are you surprised that it works? After all a DATE column contains a time component, you do not provide: but he

works and gives you 00:00:00 as the component "hour".

Similarly, the timezone component is being developed to automatically with, I think, time zone of your system.

  • Question of stupid graph OBIEE 11 g

Hi, I have a really stupid question of the graphic on OBIEE 11g. I have the following in the criteria tab:

    Fiscal year
    Accounting period
    Business unit
    Spend the amount

I want to do a simple line chart showing Plastica as a command prompt, the 4 exercises like colors of different lines, 12 accounting periods as the horizontal axis and the amount of expenses such as the vertical axis. Sounds simple enough, but no matter what I do, I am unable to move the "measure of labels" tile in the graphic editing page. It seems to be 'locked' in the lowest position of the "Group By" box. I don't seem to be able to move it, exclude, etc..

The problem is the presentation is as follows: through the axis labels, instead of just saying "1" to "12", all end up by saying '1 spending amount', 'amount to spend 2', 'amount to spend 3', etc.. This puts a shit ton of excess there and it is difficult to read the axis (if you are in a few Stephen, it will add it detaches completely in the eyes of the data area of the chart, where they should be). In addition, since the "chart title" and "The Vertical axis title" already say 'Spend the amount' - it is completely useless. When I look at the properties of the graph for the 'Horizontal axis title' it just says: "Accounting period", not "measure Lable + accounting period".

Can anyone help - it's super basic, but it's driving me crazy and the graphic is horrible.

    Thank you
