Tiny scratches on screen

Hello.

After receiving my computer from the Apple Store after a replacement of the logic board, I noticed a small (1-2mm) scratch in my screen. I know it wasn't me that I use no tools etc. around my screen. All I can do to try to remove scratches? Thank you!

Sayonara

Take the computer to the Apple store to have it checked.

Best.

  • 7 HP flow display problem - odd of scratches on screen

I have a problem with a kind of washed out appearance of the screen and lines running in parallel along the long side of the screen (landscape in landscape mode, vertical in portrait mode). This occurs before the device is even started in Windows, for example, that the icon "load" looks like this. Stripes are a ghost image of graphics that are already on the screen, the pixel discoloration so not permanent. What is a power supply problem? -everything (cameras, audio network,) is very good.

Sorry for this inept description of the problem, if you could point me to a post that describes it better, I'd be very happy.

BTW, this is a new tablet, delivered yesterday.

defective... Send it back. If you got a place like office depot you can beable to return it to the store and get another.

  • scratch on screen

There is a white blank strip on the upper left corner of my screen, it's about 2 "long and 1/2" high, it covers my shortcut icons.  How can I get rid of him? and what are the causes?  He came forward and then disappear after a few weeks

    Hi Peggy,

The problem may occur due to faulty graphics card driver.

    1. What is the brand and model of the computer?

    2. were there any changes (hardware or software) to the computer before the show?

Update the graphics driver on the manufacturer's Web site and check if it works.

  • 7.3 TeemTalk screen scratch help

We currently use DDE from VB app to scrape data from sessions Teemtalk 4.1 (Win XP).

We are migrating to Windows 7 so have installed Teemtalk 7.3, but the DDE link does not work, is always taken DDE in charge and if so what LinkTopic should I use.  If not Teemtalk 7.3 supports other APIs such as OLE so I can scrape data from a VB application.

    Thank you

    Hello

I fear TeemTalk 7 does not support DDE (TeemTalk 4), or COM (TeemTalk.2000) or HLLAPI (TeemTalk 4 & some versions of TeemTalk.2000 / TeemTalk 6).

AFAIK TT7 is the only version currently available.

TT7 includes the TT4 scripting language which includes methods to scratch the screen, write to the file, exec other programs...

I can suggest only looking at this to meet your needs.

    Hello

It is possible that you did only scratched in the coating resistant to fingerprints, repellent. It is normal that this coating to wear away under normal conditions of use, but it can become scratched without damaging the screen below.

If you have scratched the screen or not, Apple recommends not using products cleaning or polishing or Polish the watch with abrasives; These will carry away the lining and may also (still) scratches on the display under.

The watch is covered under limited warranty a year Apple against any material or manufacturing defect, but not against accidental damage or misuse. The apparent defects - which include scratches - are not covered under warranty (AppleCare or +).

If you make a Genius Bar reservation, Apple may inspect the brand and advise of any available service options:

A good quality screen protector (thin film type) can be effective in concealing or reducing the visibility of the brands, as well as to provide some protection against future damage.

  • MacBook Air 13 inch screen keyboard brands

I just bought a macbook air for the College and as anyone who has already purchased an expensive product, I want to take good care of it, then it will last me a good amount of time (at least until I've finished law school). After some research on the web, it has come to my attention that the keyboard can scratch the screen when the laptop is a full backpack (quite a typical scenario in the lives of students). Should I put a cloth Microfiber between the keyboard and the screen when I close the laptop or should I invest in a screen protector or is my stupid just afraid with no. anchor in reality? Thank you in advance!

Do not use Palm or Cap covers on a MacBook Pro with Retina - Apple Support display here, is what Apple thinks about it actually, I guess that the cloth would increase the pressure and it can cause more damage, especially if it's the MacBook Air. And I also think that a cheap and quality product should not damaged so easily. Worry is not about this, your MacBook is self-sufficient

    Hi Maxine

Scratches are the result of contacts any. To help reduce the risk of damage from debris on the screen, keep your watch clean and dry (use an abrasive, lint cloth):

It is possible that only the fingerprints, oil-resistant coating has been scratched. It is normal that this coating to wear away under normal use, but she has become marked without damaging the surface of the screen under.

    Hi Marco_3,

I guess this dot what you want to say it's a pixel dead, right?

Well, there are a lot of discussions in the forum how to manage the dead pixels and I recommend checking out some official Toshiba items I found on the page European:

I have some doubts on how to clean my laptop screen.

I noticed that there are a few small spots and trying to clean them with a fabric suede they remain.

In PC Magazine, you can find the special liquid which can be used for cleaning the case display or laptop.
You should use it and after that cleaning of the screen will be perfectly clean, without all the tasks or something else.

  • Can your fingernail scratches on the display of the iPhone 6?

strange question, I know it's a long story, but can a fingernail scratch the screen of the iPhone 6?

If you have diamonds glued on your nails or you adamantine claws that jump out of your fingers, certainly.

Just as it would be almost impossible to strike out a window of the car with your nails, you can not scratch the screen with your fingernails.

For what it's worth, to this day, my kitten was not able to scratch the screen, either. Try as I might, I can barely keep her away from the phone.

  • Resolution? Small screen for the Ant people. PLEs help.

Hello people out there in the internet

I am new to the whole experience of Muse, but I learned quickly and felt pretty confident with myself.

For the life of me I can't understand why my entire screen ever good sites.
I do the resolution 960px as tutorials suggest.
The site itself is still perfect in my Muse directives and when I export and download, it turns into a Web site for people of the Ant.

Y at - there anyone out there who might be able to help me.
    I hope it's a stupid mistake that I'm on.

    Thanks in advance

I have attached a screenshot for reference

    Hi Sarah,.

It is difficult to know without more information - if you can publish the site somewhere (temporarily, for example) that make it easier or source files or additional information.

Many possibilities but have you checked:

-browser scaling (easy to have 50% by accident)

-your screen resolution - if you have a 1080 p (1920 pixels wide) or a higher resolution screen, your site can be perfectly display (1366 x 768 screen resolution is still widespread, and the site would fill most of the screen on such a device). You can check how your site as by right-clicking in chrome would look-> inspect-> click the icon at the top right-> enter your desired resolution (more frequent google) phone/tablet. The tutorial will be recommended width 960px page you should be designing your site to be viewable on your screen smaller resolution, that a visitor to your site is likely to have. Opening such a site on very high resolution such as 4 k screens results screens in a slim column with more screen space taken as empty margins. The answer to that is to design sensitive sites - sites which updates change if they look good on low, medium and high res screens. Muse was only sensitive in early 2016, so if the tutorial is before this date, it will not be admissible (issue with catering to the two high and low res screens without workarounds). I would recommend stroungly creating a site with breaking 960px and 1440px 1920px points (or whatever you decide fits your site/audience).

-Is you making use of the HDPI of Muse option for site high resolution?

-You run Windows 10, which has integrated scale - have you checked the settings for this?

That said, I think you will find that your site looks tiny because your screen resolution is high - change in chrome or windows to 1366 x 768 or 1280 x 800 and see what it looks like.

    I hope this helps.

  • size of the content in different screens

I want to do a new website of muse. In my previous Web sites, the default page size was 960 x 500 (min height). Which led my site look tiny in a screen with 1600px wide and I had to do a lot of changes in the CSS code by adding questions to the media and other things after have exported them in html format in order to increase the size of the content. So how can I start making my new Web site for larger screens (in Muse) and let that well appear more small?

I tried to increase the width of 1600px page. It sounded good on my desktop screen, but in my laptop screen the content seemed huge.

You can't have your cake and eat it-Muse is intended simply not sensitive design. If you want to create a design that looks good on different screens, this means that you must let Muse (at some point) and start coding (as you were forced at the time), or at the very least, use a tool like ARA and go from there.
