To trust Windows?

I was counting on the download of Windows on my Mac in parallels so down, I can load some games that are not available on OS X, so I was wondering if I should trust in parallels? Has anyone downloaded them?

Parallels is probably one of the best applications of virtualization for Mac, so it's OK to use it. You should also consider merger of VMware or VirtualBox (it's free).

However, if you want to use Windows to play games, I suggest you to install Windows using Boot Camp instead. Boot Camp lets you install Windows on a separate partition, so your Mac works like any other PC then you are under Windows, and you will get the best possible performance.     Please someone has suggestions more, I really want to do a clean install, because I did not trust Windows to restore the backup of many hours (years) of gameplay lets you save

    General information

    I had a system that works with Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit. It is a platform for development and simulation that encrypted weeks of configuration and installs operational mode. It was installed in 2012 after my old motherboard has been damaged (I had to get a new license... not just).

    I opted for Windows 10 months ago, but because I wasn't ready I postponed. All of a sudden he just kept tenacious and like a child (not the friendliest approach Microsoft!).

    Last week he suddenly put a gun to my head and me has everything just no other choice to postpone, just install. Fortunately, I had done a backup of the Image of the previous day, so with the gun to my head I let him go ahead with the 10 of Windows 'upgrade '.

    Upgrade Windows 10 seemed to go wrong to 83% or more with a screen saying she was hurt that she would try again turned. If she did, and this time he APPEARED to go. Then I got to the Windows 10 for final configuration.

    • Installed all the drivers of motherboard

    The problem is when I go to Windows Update, it shows me 16 updates installed, but it ALWAYS gets stuck on "check updates" with "more recent audit of updates: never'and'updates have been installed: never'and'you receive updates: for Windows and other products from Microsoft Update". ""

    It is configured to automatic updates, but all other settings give the same problem, no updates are installing more than 16 who are already there:

    So, how can I get Windows Update to work again? I lost about 4 days of work thanks to this "upgrade".

    For what I was able to see the update of Windows is the latest version of wuauserv.dll. It is an important part of WindowsUpdate.log of today. Note, however, that initially I had intentionally disconnected the network cable, reinstated later, but the problem persists. Note also there are several DatStor warnings about adding a URL that does not. :

  • Windows 8 library-ms stops working

    Libraries of Documents, music, photos and videos all unfortunately Windows 8 or no reason, stop working.  I get the error message is:

    Windows libraries, "ms Documents.library" no longer works.  This library can be removed safely from your computer.  Will not suffer folders that have been added.

    These are the standard libraries provided in Windows 8.  Why they have stopped working?  Delete them safely?  I don't trust Windows 8 enough to remove these folders.  Why not solve the problem rather than delete Microsoft?

    Anyone else having this problem?

    last night I tried the WinXP "verifier.exe" tool to check unverified in WinXP drivers.
    My system worked very well until this try. After the first reboot, the system load until the home screen where I choose my account (Administrator rights) to load my profile. After the boot process slows down upwards, only windows processes are shown in the lower right bar (icon of sound system, network) and after a while, there is a blue screen with the following information:

    STOP: 0X0000008E (0XC0000005, 0XF89A742C, 0XF3DFDB50, 0X00000000)
    TVALD. SYS - address F89A742C base at F89A7000, DateStamp 3b7caa6c

    and the system stops.

    Please help how to deal with this error, the tvald.sys is a Toshiba system file in the system32 directory.
    I have the Toshiba recovery cd, but I have half a month of accounting files that is not registered so I need urgently a fix where I do not format the hard drive.

    You are right;
    The TVALD. SYS seems to be a Toshiba ACPI-Based value added logical device driver that is required to run the stable notebook.
    It looks like these files has been has not signed with a certificate from a trusted windows source and therefore the tool of Windows XP "verifier.exe" locked or deleted. (I put t know exactly what verifier.exe)

    I put t know if you were able to solve this problem without using the Toshiba Recovery CD :(
    The TVALD. SYS seems to be stored in
    windows\ system32\ drivers\ tvald.sys c:\

    and in the registry here:
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE-SYSTEM-CurrentControlSet-Services-TVALD

    However, in my opinion the verifier.exe tool should be removed and the settings must be reset!
    In this case, you can use the XP System Restore tool!

    The software I use is Labview 2012 64bits.

    Now, here's my question:

    For now, I use only the Council of NIPXIe-6259DAQ which has inputs and analog outputs.

    What I have to do is record an analog signal, a couple of matemathical asks about it and send it to an analog output. I do this in a while loop Labview (attached is my vi).

    However the process of acquisition and output signals must be performed in 1 microsedonds.

    For the time being with the NIPXIe-6259DAQ card when I try to run this kind of tasks, I can write only 10samples/ms... When I use probes in labview to check how many samples are written.

    Don't see an obvious solution to my problem with the material that I own?

    If not, should what kind of material I buy for my needs?

    For the recovery of the microsecond, I really think you want to go with an FPGA, something in the Councils of PXI R Series should work for you.  I do not trust Windows at all to be able to turn around that data in a microsecond, consistantly nevermind.

    Win 7 told me I got the latest driver, but I wouldn't trust windows update, as they said that my ethernet card was up-to-date (see 7.04) and when I went on the Realtek site, driver to v.7.23...

    Anywho! I was not able to change the channel for the ad - hoc connection. I tried the connection with a PC and still cannot connect (so not a problem related to Mac).

    I don't know what is happening with the miniport module or the wireless card (I tried different settings in properties and the Advanced Options tab, as power management), but it just would not work. So I got this router, and everything works fine.

  • Incorrect version of the Intel driver causing the problems of Youtube?

    So I installed a program called the "Bluestacks App Player" from a few months back. It's basically an emulator designed to run Android on PC applications. When I downloaded first, he told me that she needed a newer driver. I thought it was weird, because Windows update is supposed to keep my drivers up to date automatically, but decided to go with her when even (because, you know, these birds Flappy urges...). Anyway, as soon as he installed the driver, my screen went black for about 10 seconds. Then the screen came back, but with a very old Windows design that I had seen before only when I booted my Windows 7 laptop in safe mode. After a minute or two, the screen has disappeared and then reappeared with the normal Windows 7 and updated design page. I started the program kkkkk and it worked fine and I was able to play some of my favorite on my laptop Android apps (Temple Run, Flappy bird, cut the rope, etc.). I thought it was really cool and decided not to do a system restore, despite fear of blacking out screen / display the safe mode of Windows style. After a month or two I had almost forgotten this topic.

    However, the other day when I was watching videos on Youtube, my screen blacked out for a few seconds before reappearing. An error message appeared, which I ignored him, assuming it was a glitch once. However, a minute later, when I was watching another Youtube video, the new screen blacked out for a few seconds. This time, I read the error message. (see attached image).

    My first thought was "what the f *! I have not even Windows 8 is installed. My machine came with and always had Windows 7. »

    So my question is, why I apparently have a driver for Windows 8 (R) installed on my machine? A compatibility issue between this driver Win 8 and my Win 7 OS could be cause my intermittent screen crashes? Also, is there a way to tell what drivers I'm supposed to be on my machine?

    P.S.: Youtube accidents have become more frequent recently. usually my screen turns off or when you try to load a Youtube video or to halfway through a Youtube video. It happens on average at least once or twice a day. Blacks usually only display on during a few seconds, then comes back with the error message shown above.

    Also, I checked the website of the manufacturer of my computer. I tried to download what I believe it's the correct driver.

    However, after downloading nothing's really happened. When I checked the downloads, it was downloaded a record intel with a bunch of files inside. How can I install the driver?

    I don't know how to use the downloaded folder in the site from my computer to install the driver. Also, I currently have a newer version of the intel driver, so I don't know if I can install this one since it comes from a previous version. Do I have to uninstall my current intel VGA driver first? If so, my computer will be able to operate without its VGA driver. As my computer is just a black screen, whenever the driver fails, if I uninstall it, don't I faced with a permanent black screen. I'll be even able to see what I'm doing?

    Do NOT trust Windows Update for drivers. Use only those provided by the computer manufacturer.

  • How to re - activate Acrobat 8 Professional?

    My Windows 8.1 had a hard crashed, so I had to reinstall all my old software once I updated Windows 8 on my laptop (sorry that I don't trust Windows 10 again).  I reinstalled the Acrobat 8 Professional, but I can't activates the product again.  I think that it forces me to turn off my old copy before active the new facility, but it's a hardware failure, so I don't have the ability to disable the old one.

    I can access my Adobe account and see the product, but it does not just allow me re - activate.  How to re-enable it?

    Hmm, the problem solved:

    I found the solution to install AdobePDF.dll from Acrobat 8 CD (the file is in a different folder), and then I ran the program, click 'Help', then 'Activation', and 'Activate' and 'Disable' have been disabled.  Just typing the answer, I noticed "turn it off" is now enabled (i.e. it has been activated).

    I guess it's no longer a problem.  Thank you for having responded to my original post.

  • Uninstalling first Elements

    I use Win 7, first Elements 10. I installed a few months ago, but did not have the possibility to use it at this time. A couple of days, I shot the first place for the first time. The problem started from the outset, the desktop icon did nothing. Not much, I found the .exe file and it has started up. I tried to start a new project of media obtain the file or folder. Drag the file did not work. Double click, he did. Now I tried to drag the file to the timeline, the screen has become a sort of milky white with the program barely visible behind the fog and an hourglass. And that's what I got. Was not only the first frost, the machine was locked in solid, even CTRL + ALT + DEL was not working.

    I decided to uninstall and reinstall. I used the control panel and as far as I could tell the uninstall routine ran normally and there was a message saying that the program had been removed (or words to that effect). When I put the CD to re - install the first thing that came was ' do you want to uninstall? No option to install or repair. I used the Explorer to search for the first in C:\Program files. There was an Adobe folder because I do not use CS6, and in this case was a subfolder, "Adobe Premiere Elements 10." Interesting this folder had a number of subfolders, none contained the Premiere Elements .exe file. What I found even more fascinating was the large number of files left by the routine of uninstall, thousands of them, 2.1 + GIGABYTES in a single subfolder, movie themes. Hundreds more megabytes in other folders.

    Now, it seems unimaginable for anyone in Adobe that someone might actually want to get rid of one of their programs. But I chose to Uninstall, then what reason can there be for leaving almost 3 GIG of trash on my hard drive?

    So I went back to the CD and went with the uninstall option, once AGAIN. I was prompted to disable this feature, which I did. The same routine ran and ended with "...". has been deleted' once AGAIN. Now, I put the CD in the drive and chose to install. Went through the installation, entered the serial number, just like a new installation. A pulls up to the first and is STILL surprised to see that the project, had an abortion, was one of the options.

    I believe that ATR has addressed the uninstall with many details routine.

    One thing caught my attention and perhaps to treat, when / if reinstall you:

    Now I tried to drag the file to the timeline, the screen has become a sort of milky white with the program barely visible behind the fog and an hourglass. And that's what I got. Was not only the first frost, the machine was locked in solid, even CTRL + ALT + DEL was not working.

    When the GUI display is wobbly, he is often caused by an outdated video driver. While not the only cause, is the first that comes to my mind.

    I would take the time to check that you have the latest video driver for your video/chip card, starting from the mfgr. Web site. I wouldn't trust Windows, or any driver utility program, for saying if you later - see in the nVidia or AMD/ATI Web site for verification.

    If an outdated video driver will often give an error message, which is not always the case. If you do not have an error message, I would also check to make sure that a file BadDrivers.TXT is not left behind, when uninstall you the program.
