    Hello

    You see yellow exclamation marks in Device Manager? Maybe a driver isn't installed properly in the system freezes.
    In addition, I would try to remove the USB ports in Device Manager. After this restart your laptop and USB ports will be recognized again.

    Have you tried a BIOS update? If this isn't the case, you should do it. Before you begin the update, close all running programs and make sure that you are logged on as administrator.

  • Apple Motion freezes when creating new Bézier points on masks

    Hi people,

    Having a problem with the movement 5.2.3.

    When you use the Bézier tool while creating masks, about 7/10 times it crashes without saving changes when you create a new point.

    Has anyone else had this problem and found a solution?

    Thank you

    I do not see a problem. How many points you use in your mask? You do a right click on the line and selecting Add a Point or by double-clicking on the line when it crashes? You start with a Bezier or B-Spline form?

  • I lost my disc to restore system for Satellite Pro M70

    Hello

    I lost my system restore disc for my Satellite Pro M70.
    If anyone can help with possible solutions. I want to restore it for my sister to take to College.

    Thank you
    Greg

    Possible solutions?
    Well you can take the Microsoft Windows disk and can install windows by using the original Microsoft disc. All the necessary drivers and tools are placed on the European driver Toshiba page.

    I think you will not be able to order this disc of the local ASP or on this site https://backupmedia.toshiba.eu/landing.aspx because the M70 is a little older

    So the real solution can be an installation of the OS by using MS Win drive

  • It is typical that firefox can use 339 600 K (shown on the Task Manager and seemed to work) to show an image? My entire system freezes when that happens

    I was looking at pictures in an e-mail, (PDF), and firefox is running 339 600 K and froze my system. Is this typical? He just kept which passes I waited, however, the screen turned gray (with e-mail showing under) and after about 15 minutes, I decided that was pretty long and updated version of the browser (or the arrow from small circle). Then I could do it again, but it kept happening on every third image.

  • System freeze when it is opened the tool update BIOS, how can I update the BIOS?

    I'm trying to update the BIOS on my 14 (1016tx) want.

    I downloaded the latest BIOS from the HP website and open it, the dialog box has 2 buttons only start at 1, output 2

    Click 1 start, then another dialog box pops up saying not to stop your computer blablabla... and asks me to confirm, OK or cancel

    However, all input devices have no answer at this time. No keyboard, touchpad, usb mouse no longer works. USB ports seem to be put off, since the light on my usb key is off.

    The power button does not work neither. I continue to press it for about 1 minute, just can't turn off the machine and I have to remove the power cord and the battery to stop the crazy fan.

    p.s. I just installed the operating system. (Windows 7 Professional 64-bit) until I try to update the BIOS.

    Thanks for the quick response.

    I managed to fix everything on time. It seems that the problem was caused by the absence of HP_TOOL partition on my hard drive.

    I downloaded the UEFI BIOS HP update and installed it, he created a partition of 2 GB HP_TOOL for me, and then the BIOS update tool work (it will restart the computer to update the UEFI BIOS and BIOS update).

    P.S. Just wonder why HP releases suck a stupid tool. If it relies on a HP_TOOL partition, it should just say that instead of drive the crazy fan and disable all buttons!

  • System freezes when I play Starcraft:Broodwar on Windows7

    Hello

    last week, I installed Windows7 on my computer and since then, I have problems with my favorite game Starcraft Broodwar.
    It worked perfectly under Vista, but now it's just crappy and unstable. My PC freezes after 10 minutes, healthy, I can play for hours and nothing happens. The strage thing is the fact that my music keeps runnig and pc turns off, it just runs and runs until I touched the powerbutton. The music continues to turn all time but no key to answer.

    All my drivers are up to date and I have all the patches for Broodwar.
    I've also tried for several previous Versions of Windows Compatibility Modes (Windows XP SP2/SP3, Win2k and so on). I also tried 256coulor modus and stuff, and I also run this program as an administrator.

    I hope that someone here got an idea.

    Greetings,
    Marty

    Marty,
    Have you tried to run the game after a clean boot?  If this isn't the case, I would say that to give a try just to help to eliminate other software that might interfere.  Here is a link with instructions for how to perform a clean boot: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929135

    As I searched for more information on this issue I found one thing that you may want to try and see if there is help.  It seemed to solve some problems of users (However, the questions were a bit different from yours).  Uninstall the game and then when reinstall you it, run the Setup in compatibility mode.

  • Venue 11 Pro system freeze when AC is unplugged

    I understand that this is a troubled unit and is since the liberation. I decided to take the risk anyway because the updates were frequent for this device. I got a unit i5-4300y I received yesterday. The following occur in the order:

    Starting for the first time the charger (batt was dead).

    Ran Windows updates and went to work.

    Returned to the House. Charger unplugged for awhile. Played around with the installation of Office on current continuous.

    Plugged AC and decided to update the recommended drivers and BIOS to the latest version A12 (unit come with A11).

    Finish all updates of driver/firmware and unplugged the charger. System froze. Tried twice and probably 6 times more with constant reboots. Frost occurs within 3 seconds after power is disconnected.

    Go into CS mode and hit the power button to get back to connect to the screen are responsive. Once my account user loads, about 2-3 seconds later system crashes. Repeat with the AC, runs almost perfect.

    Awesome, I had a hybrid/portable tablet that runs on a charger only.

    I guess I overfeed prematurely into the hype of the horror stories and finally stumbled upon the solution.

    Intel HD Graphics display update being disabled on battery seems to have resolved.

  • Random freezes when performing a stack, dv6-3110sg

    Hi all

    I use an HP dv6-3110sg laptop under Windows 7 Home Premium.

    For about a month now, I have experienced random system freezes when I was using the laptop on battery, i.e. without the charger plugged. Sooner or later, at a random time during the use of the laptop, the screen completely freeze, with not even a movement of the mouse cursor or anything else in response, until I took out the battery and held the power for a few seconds. This problem does not occur when you attempt to use windows safe mode, or a distribution Linux live USB, so I thought a recovery could help. However, after you recover the laptop the integrated minimum image and download of HP and Windows updates for several hours, the problem persists when you use the battery. I thought that the battery may be faulty, so I plugged in the phone my mother, which is the same model, but despite this, the system froze after awhile. Try to use the battery for HP Support Assistant check (what is said and all the drivers and software, are up to date, incidentally) yields a "Check the battery has stopped working" error message, although when you click on 'other details', the problem seems to be a 'file not found exception', so I could use a link to a check of the battery work for me download. I also used the battery test in BIOS diagnostics utility (by pressing ESC during boot by pressing F2 [I think] for diagnostic options, and then selecting test battery off of the menu), however, only one was completed after 15 seconds and apparently everything was fine there.

    So I could really use some help with this problem here, cause I can't understand what is the cause. Don't forget that so do a hard cover and replace the battery with a new one, have not helped so far. I would appreciate it so all the tracks on the way to proceed. Thank you!

    EDIT: I should also mention that this time he comes with the on dedicated mobility AMD and Intel HD graphics graphics. But only when executing a stack, it's fine if the laptop is plugged.

    I solved it now.

    Made a recovery not from the integrated partition, but the recovery of the DVD that I created after I bought the computer. Somehow, that did the trick, no more freezes. Why my installation and my recovery partition has become suddenly strange, I have no idea. But at least everything works now. Thus, one who reads this: don't forget to create your recovery DVDs!

  • Try to return to a previous version of Firefox, but the System Restore keeps freezing

    Restore original titled problems: System

    I've upgraded to the latest version of Firefox 4, I'm not like the way it works on my laptop. Now when I tried "System Restore" to return to the old version, the "System Restore" process seems to freeze. Explaining the best process, I remember. He will ask me to select a restore point, I chose one. I'm prompted to select then I do. I wait about 5 minutes and nothing happens. Any suggestions?

    I tried what you suggested.

    What exactly have you tried?

    Norton is installed on your PC?

    Also, why not uninstall Firefox? (And then install the latest version.)

  • System freeze about 5 minutes after startup. Can move the mouse, but can't do anything else.

    Computer Compaq laptop turned on updates of Windows, firewall Windows, AVG anti-virus, etc.
    He has suddenly frozen 8 months ago - would not respond other than to be able to move the mouse.
    Does not "left/right mouse click" or "Ctrl + Alt + Del" or "power button."
    After a long waiting, pulled out the battery/power supply.

    Restarted in safe mode, was able to run AVG, but froze again.
    Has helped me select the AVG window and move it autour, but nothing else.
    Was not able to click with the right button on the taskbar to make appear the Task Manager.
    Only way to reboot was to remove the battery/power supply.

    Same thing, it is is happening whenever I start.
    System access for about 5 minutes and then freezes.

    I am able to get into the system at the start restore.
    Have a lot of personal photos on the laptop.
    Please provide a solution so that I can extract the photos and then restore the phone to factory settings.

    Thank you.

    Data recovery:

    1. slave of your hard drive in another computer and read/save your data out there.

    2. put your Hard drive in a USB hard drive case, plug it into another computer and read/save from there.

    3 Alternatively, use Knoppix Live CD to recover data:

    http://www.Knopper.NET/Knoppix/index-en.html

    Download/save the file Knoppix Live CD ISO above.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    http://isorecorder.alexfeinman.com/isorecorder.htm
    Download the Vista software from the link above.
    After installing above ISO burning software, right click on the Knoppix ISO file > copy the Image to a CD.
    Knoppix is not installed on your PC; use only the resources of your PC, RAM, graphics etc.
    Change the boot order in YOUR computer/laptop to the CD/DVD Drive 1 in the boot order.
    Plug a Flash Drive/Memory Stick, BOOT with the Live CD, and you should be able to read the hard drive.
    When the desktop loads, you will see at least two drive hard icons on the desktop (one for your hard drive) and one for the USB key.
    Click on the icons of hard drive to open and to understand which drive is which.
    Click the icon for the USB drive and click on "Actions > Change the read/write mode" so you can write to disk (it is read-only by default for security reasons).
    Now to find the files you want to back up, just drag and drop them on the USB. When you're done, shut down the system and remove the USB key.
    How to get Vista recovery Media and/or to use the Vista recovery Partition on your computer.
    There is no Vista free download legal available.
    http://www.Compaq.com/country/cpq_support.html
    Contact your computer manufacturer and ask them to send a recovery disk/s Vista set.
    Normally, they do this for a cost of $ small.
    In addition, ask them if you have a recovery Partition on your computer/laptop to restore it to factory settings.
    See if a manual provided with the computer or go to the manufacturer's website, email or you can call for information on how to make a recovery.
    Normally, you have to press F10 or F11 at startup to start the recovery process...
    Another way I've seen on some models is press F8 and go to a list of startup options, and launch a recovery of standards of plant with it, by selecting the repair option.
    You can also make recovery disk/s for the recovery Partition in case of a system Crash or hard drive failure.
    They will tell you how to do this.
    Every computer manufacturer has their way of doing recovery disk/s.
    Or borrow a good Microsoft Vista DVD (not Dell, HP, etc).
    A good Vista DVD contains all versions of Vista.
    The product key determines which version of Vista is installed.
    There are 2 disks of Vista: one for 32-bit operating system, and one for 64-bit operating system.
    If install a cleaning is required with a good DVD of Vista (not HP, Dell recovery disks):
    Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.
    At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu
  • Restore system to a Pavilion 304w disc
    Hello, I am renovating a HP Pavilion 304w for the original owner so that her daughter can have its own computer for school.    Apparently the system disk that came with it is long gone.     I spent time and money on modernization of this machine, I took the RAM from 128 to 512 and put a better CD/RW drive, as well as a cleaning of the case and the material.
    The hard drive was a mess, he had more viruses and garbage you could ever cleaning mentions not years of use.    I used "KILLDISK" to wipe the drive hard so that a clean installation is possible.   I didn't know how old this machine had, it had XP "service Pack 1" I don't personally have a windows disk installation this old.    Is there any solution apart from buying a new OS for this machine?         There is a product key # on the side of the case which is still valid, but like I said this is for the version "service pack 1".
