  I just bought a new MacBook Pro and a new crush LaCie 2big 2 series of RAID hard drive to use for Time Machine backup.

  I have downloaded Firefox and IE. With IE, my home page fills the screen and I can adjust the display size (police). Now with Firefox, the homepage (FOX News) is crumpled in the middle with very small print and I can't find hoe to adjust the display.

• My search in the start menu box does nothing

  When I click on START and open the classic Menu, I have the normal search below box and I can type things in.

  But using enter, does nothing.  If I put the cursor at the end of the text to search for, it still does nothing.

  How to READ the text to find?  especially I need help with the features in Windows 7 no files, records, etc.

  The only way to make it work is to KILL the classic menu, return to native Windows and use the search box, but that requires initialization, etc..

• Unable to save image in FF27 - win7 using the option of the context menu. Does nothing.

  When you try to save an image from a web page using FF27, I am not able to get this working using the option in the context menu. It is a very recent change. Problem occurs on a computer desktop and laptop running Windows 7.

  I searched using Google with no help is found. Is there a way to save the image if I use the Picture Info option in the context menu if something goes wrong.

  It must have been some changes in FF27 or 27.01 the addon of problem being that I have used for a time very long. Addon is PhotoMe which is a program and there is an option to install as an add-on.

  Disappointedly, I removed it from both PC and Firefox will now save the Image using the context menu.

  Everything I try associated with firefix gets "your computer must be restarted to complete a previous update of Firefox" I tried to not restart no luck, I tired uninstall in Add Remove programs or install 4.0 on it. At the time I was trying to upgrade 3.0 to 3.6.15. I tried to look for the xpicleanup.dat file but no luck there.

  I have a project that has moved me to someone else, how do I link media files paths to point to the appropriate support?   That's what he should have done, but instead of it he has chosen to do nothing. By clicking on the OK button just clicks on the button, but nothing happens. I ended up uninstalling all versions on first Pro and After Effects (projects running which were with previous versions) and resettlement, and now I can finally create a link to the media files. AE-projects media files were in them, and apparently the dynamic linking did not like the combination of the first Pros and Efter effects I already had. Reinstall all the versions have a dynamic link to life. It would have been nice if Pro Prime Minister had said something in the line "could not initialize binding dynamic.." instead of nothing doing and don't give any feedback what so ever, just my 2 cents. Anyway, problem solved.

• CS5-> CS6 upgrade hangs, block the windows Task Manager, does nothing else

  Got the CS6 Design Standard update, hoping to upgrade from CS5 Design Premium. Could it be the problem? I don't have all the added bonus and this stuff is ridiculously expensive.

  In any case, I put the disc, nothing happens. I run the set - up.exe, the disc spins, then nothing continues to happen. I watched it for up to 5 minutes and nothing.

  Set - up.exe isn't in Applications, but it's in the process in windows Task Manager. However, there is no real activity at all. When I try to end the process, WTM crashes. I have to every hard reboot or eject the disc in order to recover.

  What gives? I can post PDApp.log if need be, but I don't know how much help it will be.

  So it turns out that it was the reader. I installed an internal DVD SATA drive and it ran the update without fault. Just in case someone else stumbles across this post with a similar problem, make sure that you do not install the update of an external USB DVD drive, specifically a Samsung SE-S084. It won't work.
