  I have a Toshiba NB305-105 (2 GB Ram - 250 GB HARD drive) with the ultimate edition of Windows 7 (64). My (6-cell) battery has a long service life about 6 hours, but I can't why when walking the next day from the PC, the battery is discharged.   The problem I encounter is due to AHCI HARD drive setting and only after WOL.

  If you do not use AHCI 3, 4 & 5 will be AHCI / IDE HDD SATA not.

  You can change the BIOS setting followed steps below:
  1. power on the system and press 'F1' enter the BIOS utility.
  2. go to the "Device" option, make sure that "Enable the SATA AHCI" change to "disable"(if you don't use AHCI, pls ignore this step).
  3. go to the "Start" option, select "Boot Sequence"
  and ensure that the IDE HDD: is not in the section 'Excluded from the boot order' to [Primary] start sequence screen.
  4. press "2" to enter "start sequence screen [automatic],
  and ensure that the IDE HDD: is not in the section 'Excluded from the boot order' to [Auto] sequence start screen.
  5. press "3" to enter "start screen for sequence [error],
  and make sure that the IDE HDD: is not in the section 'Excluded from the boot order' on-screen of start sequence [error].
  6. press "F10" to save and exit the setting.

  Make sure that the HARD drive is not in the list of the excluded for all 3 optios. Primary, automatice & error.

• vCAC 6.0 - tenant disappears after a few days

  I ran into a very odd behavior in vcac6. After I do the installation and configuration of a tenant, seems to work fine. Setup works very well and I have successfully completed the virtual provisioning. And then, after a few days, the additional tenant I had Setup disappears. Which means that when I login to administration VCAC with [email protected]portal, I see that the vsphere.local of the default tenant but not others that I had original configuration. When I connect to the self-service portal, I initially get an internal error as pasted below. Then when I try to go to 'The Administration' and 'Services' it is said the additional tenant be found as pasted below. The strange thing is that he knows the name of accurate tenant that I initially setup and it displays this name in the error message. But all the other components as resources, reserves, draw blue etc. all seem fine.

  1. Download the latest version of Firefox from http://www.mozilla.org office and save the installer to your computer.
  2. Once the download is complete, close all Firefox Windows (click on quit in the file menu or Firefox).

  However Stor.E Canvio is a HARD USB 3.0 drive and it takes min 900mA to operate correctly.
  It might be possible that not enough power provided by the USB port.
  You can try to plug an external USB hub between the laptop and the HARD drive to verify functionality.
