TouchSmart IQ810 gel/bluescreen errors
I have an IQ810 UK Touchsmart, I've had three or four years. For the last year or so there bluescreened every so often, several times a month, increasing over time. I upgraded from Vista to Win7 and installed an update of NVidia driver some time ago, but now instead of the blue screen (or), often enough the screen just freeze completely, or suddenly scratched gray or black and become inactive.
I tried updating to the latest driver Nvidia but which seemed to make things worse. I've also updated other drivers. Interestingly, I installed Ubuntu recently which seemed to work perfectly until I installed the Linux Nvidia driver, after which I had the same problems of gel in the form of windows.
I ran the HP Diagnostics Utilities, but there is no problem. I also ran Coretemp to detect the internal temperature, it looks very good.
Is this a defective video card? It is even possible to change the video card without emptying the whole motherboard? The best suggestions? I read in another thread on the replacement of the SATA cable, but never opened this machine so I am a little nervous to do it without good reason.
It seems that you have problems with malicious software.
The Kaspersky Rescue Disk 10 allows to solve this problem.
Uninstall the current driver for the graphics card from NVIDIA.

I get a bluescreen error 1-3 times per week for 2 months.
* Original title: Bluescreen Error
I get an error bluescreen 1-3 times per week for 2 months, usually indicating that the computer is being closed to protect the computer against damage. The latest incident took place on 04/01/2016. I ran all the diagnostic tools I could find, including a group called UBCD, but received no notification of an error. A possible anomaly occurred when I was running a test of memory associated with my NVIDIA GeForce 960 GTX graphics card: the test is run rather quick end to a reboot. Device Manager, however, said that the adapter is running correctly.
I hope you can help me. I have a lot of work to do, particularly on the graphics this computer has been configured to manage.
Jan 4 incident occurred when I was loading a new program to run a telescope I received for Christmas. The program has been Starry Night Orion special edition 6 I read your directions for collecting files, grouped in a rar file and placed in a file on my drive one. These accidents were related to the corruption of memory (probably caused by a driver). If you are overclocking anything reset by default before running these tests. In other words STOP! If you don't know what it means that you're probably not

Dear all,
I run Windows XP it SP 3 off vmWare Fusion on my MacBook Pro, w. 2.6 GHz (v. 1.1.1) and a 17 "display.
Currently, I am experiencing bluescreen errors about 75% of the time I start up Windows on my virtual machine. These errors started happening when I uninstalled a software on the virtual machine Windows Live, but come to increase in frequency to the extent where my use of the Fusion has become seriously affected.
Is it possible to change this anomaly?
In addition and it's less important if there is a solution to this problem, I would really like to know, Windows does not recognize the existence of my iSight Camera, and there is no software in XP or the Microsoft Website which is able to manage this camera. Where can I find software for Windows that would operate the iSight?
Thanks a lot for any help to unravel these problems!
Steve
Hello Steve,.
I run Windows XP it SP 3 off vmWare Fusion on my MacBook Pro, w. 2.6 GHz (v. 1.1.1) and a 17 "display.
just a note, the latest version of series 1.1.x 1.1.3 you should consider the upgrade (no new features, some bug fixes).
Well, you will need to provide more accurate information about yourself and this forum. Go to control panel > system > advanced > startup and Recovery > settings, uncheck 'Automatically restart' and select 'partial memory image' in the popup button "Write debugging information" section below.
Then the blue screen is displayed, and you can take a screenshot of it (for example with the utility Grab in OS X - Grab in Spotlight search, run it, and then in the menu bar, Capture > window, then select the merge window with the blue screen). In addition, a dump file will create in your C:\Windows\Minidump folder. Attach the screenshot and the dump file to post in this thread as well. Also, try to search these forums for some representative text (usually written in capital letters) of the blue screen, you may be able to find a solution.
In addition and it's less important if there is a solution to this problem, I would really like to know, Windows does not recognize the existence of my iSight Camera, and there is no software in XP or the Microsoft Website which is able to manage this camera. Where can I find software for Windows that would operate the iSight?
Install Boot Camp on Leopard DVD drivers inside the virtual machine WIndows, if you haven't done it yet - the drivers of Boot Camp contain Windows driver for the iSight webcam, you need. Restart Windows and the Virtual Machine > USB > Connect Apple built-in iSight. Then try to use it with a program, or you should see along your virtual hard drive and right click computer and test it (don't know how it is expressed exactly, hope that you will be able to understand).

Satellite M40-129 Harddrive Bluescreen Error
Hello
I got a M40-129 last year, created 2 Partitions and installed XP Pro SP2. Everything worked very well, but a few months I drive hard-error-Bluescreens. When I run Chkdsk afterwards, I get messages about bad securities Index or orphan data segments (translated from German). Normally I reinstall my laptop then go to a backup Image and all is well again. But these errors occurring weekly/daily now.I called the support, but I was told that the support would be only grab the laptop and see if the problem still occurs. But that's what I'm already doing. Is it possible to fix this?
Best regards
SpoonyP.S Partition Magic shows my a score of 88 Type which is big 204 MB. Any idea what this score is used?
Hello
First something about your partition hidden.
The M40-129 Sat was delivered with the Media Express Player.
This player is pre-installed on the hidden partition.Well, HARD disk system errors and the file can result from a variety of problems, such as hardware failures, outages of electricity, poor system maintenance, virus and human error.
When you run Chkdsk with parameters, such as / f / / r, Chkdsk repair errors related to file system structures.
I recommend the Microsoft information page. Here, you will find many useful information about HARD drive failure and why this happens.

Satellite A210-14 - why I often get Bluescreen Error?
I own a Toshiba A210-14 for about 3 weeks and got the 6 bluescreens now!
Twice, he came that I transferred data from an external to the computer HARD disk portable HARD drive.
Once after installing ICQ to my external HARD drive.
And three other times, he appeared without doing something special, I was just using Word, opera and downloaded a few files (my external HARD drive was not connected!).I took a picture of the blue screen, why do I have this so often, and what can I do against STIs?
(Sometimes without the line: ' gHidPnp.sys - 8A8842C0 address... ") »http://img488.imageshack.us/my.php?image=dsc05512dv4.jpg
Hello
Usually it is not easy to say why the BSOD appears. For most serious software or hardware problem could cause this BSOD error message.
I studied a bit and searched gHidPnp.sys details.
It seems that it is a device driver USB-function scopes and are in
C:\ WINDOWS\ system32\ drivers\ghidpnp.sys and in the registry under the key
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE-SYSTEM-CurrentControlSet-Services-gHidPnpIt s interesting to know if you have installed all the drivers for your external HARD drive.
There may be some software conflicts.
However, I would recommend Windows Update to the current state and to update USB drivers.
You can remove the USB ports on the Device Manager and after restarting again the operating system should go back.Good luck

Lenovo Z50 - 70 gel random error
Hello!
I just bought a Lenovo Z50-70 (840 M, i5, 1 to SSHD), and I have a very annoying problem.
Installed Win 8.1 Pro with drivers from the DVD. All right, it is not all errors in the Manager devices, but random computer crashes (the cursor does not move, it is not for nothing), so I have to restart it by pressing the power button for 5 seconds.
How can I fix? I hope this isn't a hardware problem.
Thank you for the answers.
I write my solution for this problem.
Freezing at random was caused by electrostatic discharge. I used the laptop in a glass surface, and when I touched the metal parts, the discharge made and caused the gel.
I put my laptop to a wooden table, the problem abandoned.

Bluescreen error saying there is a problem with my USB?
Original title: problem with USB
All of a sudden my computer goes to a blue screen and then stops. When I restart it a window pops up that says: "the problem with USB.
You have received this message because your universal serial (USB) bus driver caused a stop error, also known as a blue screen error. This error means that the computer has stopped abruptly to protect against potential corruption of data or loss. Also, I get found device driver problem.I checked the edits and found nothing. What I discovered is, if I plug any USB cable on my computer for awhile he stop doing that, but as soon as I Plug one such as the one for my IPOD it starts to work again. Can anyone help me please with this.Hello
