Track pad issues on a V5 8.1 windows

I'm having a problem. My touchpad will not respond to the options multi-doigt touch such as scrolling with two fingers. He will not meet the shortcuts as drag between applications and pinch them to zoom. It's frusterating and I don't know there's a problem out there that I have not found anything. I could really use some suggestions that the acer community has to offer.

I have the same case when my unit arrived I installed synaptics and seems still does not I installed the drivers from the momentum of the site driver acer and boom the trackpad gestures are busy...

you might want to try install synaptics then if it does not work, try momentum, these drivers are located on the page drivers support your local acer website.

    Hi all

I was wondering if someone could help me,

I have a mackbook 2008 end pro works great, however I have a problem with my track pad, which is a gift from my head in. IM using my mac now fine no problem however when I stop and start it upward a day later the touchpad is not responding. What I do is taken to the back of the case where the battery is and remove the 8 screws, I see that the ribbon cable is constantly of the touchpad, so I need to keep undoing the screws and re connect which is a pain. My question is how I g to get one of these and are they easy to set up. How do I know that this will not happen?

Of which detaches, attached photos I reconnect

I hope someone could help me on this issue as its been done for centuries and is such a pain.

    Thank you is all

To replace this cable, you must replace the trackpad itself.

This can be a painful process because you almost remove all to remove the trackpad. I guess that there is a way to fix the cable, so it's not unplugged.

I use ifixit.com all the time to fix a MacBook Air at my school.

Here is the link to replace your MacBook Pro trackpad. And also to buy the Trackpad.

It is currently out of stock, but you can warn you when it comes.

  • Track Pad evil, mysterious symbols?

I'm having some problems with my new computer and I can't find help, hope you guys can help.

I have a problem when I accidentally hit some keys (I'm a typer sloppy) and I get these weird symbols on my keybord (the ones in blue and any combination of keys that I press, I can't reset it unless I restart my computer.

    (Photos)

The second problem I have now is with my track pad. I have a bit of light on it (you can see at the bottom of the image, under the keyboard in the 2nd picture) and it lights up (orange) and I get this litle sign on my screen that fades, he has an image of a hand pointer to the block of follow-up with a red line horizontally across the image.

After which appears, my track pad locks and I cannot use it at all, but the keyboard works (I have to restart my computer to get the track buffer to work).

Please help me, I can't find anything on the internet.

    Hello

Symbols in blue can be activated by pressing the fn key - the next time this happens, try pressing the fn button to see if that makes switch to the normal keyboard input.

About the touchpad, the Orange light you see come (and disable the touchpad) are probably caused by double tapping the upper-left corner of the touch pad. Double tapping this new area should toggle the Touchpad on.

    Kind regards

Also check the wiring on the hard drive.

  • G780 - issue of Track pad

    Hello

Just got my Lenovo G780 for about 2 weeks now and I have a weird problem with the touch pad.

    1. whenever I double select something, so I immediately proceed to move my pointer, it does not have a second later. It's a very noticeable delay.

(I also have the same problem when I type and use the touchpad, immediately after, it has a response time).

2 when I double select a Word and move the pointer to my later, the selection of trails just along where I move towards which is annoying, because now I need to triple select to let the choice. On regular laptops and mouse, all I have to do is double click and everything what is selected without any problem.

I encounter these questions with my USB mouse.

    Thanks in advance!

    Hi terramishu,

From what I understand here that looks more like a software problem. What I suggest is for you to uninstall the touchpad drivers and restart your machine. Once the machine load let windows install the generic readers that it a. find the changes then.

If the problem persists, try to download the drivers touchpad from our http://support.lenovo, com support site Please ensure that you download the correct drivers for your machine type.

Let me know how it goes.

  • Satellite M100 Track Pad failure

I recently performed a 'factory restore' on a Satellite M100 (with Vista Home Basic Edition).

It was hoped that this process would solve one issue was the recent failure of the functionality of the "pad".
It doesn't happen if the problem persists.

The customer is using currently a "Belkin" USB optical mouse instead, and it works without any problem.

In the BIOS - I couldn't find any settings that can affect the Trackpad.
Investigation on Device Manager"- no conflict appears and a consistent"HID"device as well as the mouse (which seems to have"captured"a PS/2 port) appears.
Investigation on the 'Control Panel' - under input devices, the management software for both a mouse AND trackpad are indicated.

It seems that the 'Trackpad' has been 'disabled' somehow but I can't locate where or how that could be done.

    What Miss me?

Try to press Fn + F9 to toggle the mouse.

If its still does not (and considering that you have completed the recovery), and then the Touchpad may be replaced.

  • How to manage the padding issue & bytes - ordering when you change the resource (PiPL) file in windows?

    Hi all

I just started programming sdk photoshop. I noticed that the resources provided by Adobe Guide recommends to develop dialogs using Mac ground language and converting it into window using the CNVTPIPL resource file. EXE. If you use a windows resource editor, padding and byte-ordered issue must be handled by the programmer himself. Since I'm not sure what is the architectural differences between a PC and a Mac, can someone explain to me exactly how padding and byte-ording problems are handled under the windows resource editor? It would be good if there is no concrete example.

    Thanks for any help!

You really shouldn't edit resources directly if you can avoid it.

Simply modify the .rc files or Betty and recompile.

Macintosh, used to use the big-endian byte order, but didn't for several years because they switched to Intel processors.

  • MacBook pro 2015 stuck in Bluetooth Setup mode after commissioning, recognizes on the keyboard and track pad. SMC reset does not work.

My Macbook Pro 2015 stopped periodically (and now permanently discontinued) responding on keyboard and touch pad Board. This seemed to start at the same time, I got a Bluetooth headset; When I turn on the computer, he's stuck in Bluetooth Setup mode. I tried to reset the SMC, and it does not work. I don't have a Bluetooth keyboard to even try with it. Also, I can't start in safe mode. It seems completely blocked. Any help you might be able to offer would be great!

    Hello rad trp,.

Thank you for using communities Support from Apple!

From your post, I understand that your keyboard and trackpad on your MacBook Pro are unresponsive and now you see the Bluetooth set up screen on the computer. I also see that you tried to reset the SMC, but that doesn't seem to work because the built-in keyboard do not respond.

I know that you do not have a bluetooth keyboard, you can connect, but you have a USB keyboard? Even a USB keyboard for a computer Windows will work. If you do, I would say connection that the keyboard and you use these keys to perform an SMC reset, but reset the PRAM as well. • HP Envy 15-q008tx touch pad issues

    Hi HP supports,

I have a problem with my laptop HP Envy 15 - q008tx, permanent and recurrent I bought recently. My touchpad is not working properly (the mouse pointer is very laggy and moves by itself on the screen). I brought my laptop to HP to Alexandra SG TWICE service center for repair, but the issue is never resolved.

I did some research and it seems that this problem occurred with other HP customers as well. Please see the links below.

As seen on the above forum discussions, some were able to solve it using the most recent driver from synaptic. I tried this solution but it didn't work as the mouse pointer continues to lag and move by itself, which is the recurring question.

Kindly HELP me with this problem and hope to have this problem as soon as possible.

According to the message that you have recently published, I want to confirm that it is a hardware problem and I highly recommend to immediately contact HP technical support by phone for further assistance without delay to get your Notebook diagnosed and repaired by an authorized HP Certified Engineer
