• Improve the speed of my Mac

  I work on a Mac Pro (2009) with a 2.93 GHz Quad - Core Processor and I noticed that my Mac seems to be much slower to perform tasks when that I start last year. I have 8 GB of memory, an NVIDIA GeForce 521 MB graphics card, my HD has a capacity of 640 GB and I am currently using 287GB, more I have as a second HDD 640 GB and use 251GB. I'm also using OS X El Capitan, 10.11.3.

  My mac seems to make a lot of noises (as is the treatment things) for a good one a few minutes after it lights. Any thoughts on why it is or is just getting old and obsolete?

  My library has 104GB on it and I wonder if this causes problems, and if these check out would help performance?

  I'm a Graphic Designer that uses mainly the CC of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign, as well as all of my fonts to sit in a suitcase to the police officer.

  Any help would be appreciated. I run disk help and cleaned the two discs.

  Your Mac is highly scalable. Photoshop and probably other applications will be benifid by:

  -More memory

  -A better graphics card, you can even use a lot of PC, but PC cards do not give you a splash screen

  Now it's serious, after having prepared the bootcamp of El Capitan, reboots, and installation of windows 7 pro, all very well winninstall usb + usb media bootcamp. • Transplanting hard HP Elite SFF 8200, 8300 and vice versa

  Some time ago I asked a question on the transplantation of the hard drive of my HP 8200 desktop computer for my new HP 8300.

  As suggested, I installed files to controller hard drive before the drive, and almost everything seemed to work fine. (Windows installed some additional drivers after training has been installed).

  The operating system recognizes the new serial number etc, but HP Support Assistant still thinks it is installed in an HP 8200 machine. This caused a problem or two becauseHP support help has tried to install a new update of the BIOS for the 8200, which of course will not work.

  I have installled the hard drive of my new 8300 in the 8200 and run Setup from there. This has caused fewer problems but still think that it is installed on the 8300!

  I assume that there is a file that identifies the operating system of the machine. Is it possible to edit this file, or replace the file with the correct version?

  My school district bought our license as part of a consortium, and no one actually talked to Adobe installation. I have a bunch of installed applications (have, Ps, Pr, Ae, Id, AU, Fw, Dw, Fl, a, Sg) in my class, but we don't have the app CC to our jobs and products are not individually connected in CC.

  As a result, it looks like we have a limited version of these apps at best. We don't even have a welcome screens"as an option. They are simply not there.  Are there other teachers or school IT people out there who can tell me how you run it? CS4 was working fine without any problems. These new applications are an accident of clumsy train without CC installed and connected. How we manage this for an institution? I'm ready to get back to CS4, honestly. Some of my students cannot even save their work.

  My service is a bit stuck with 1to1 iPad spread this year, so I would like to provide solutions instead of problems. If anyone has any ideas, please share.

  Hi all. It's me again.

  Gradually add VMs while working through a "training kit", I installed two new Member servers in a domain that has been for a while. The servers receive addresses in the range of the DC that is sponsoring the DNS space. I find no errors in treatment. I ran the ' ipconig/displaydns and ipconfig/all .» The machines see the DNS Server appropriate as well as the default gateway. They can ping all the nodes on my network. But they cannot ping each other. The PC hosting VMware DC / DNS server is connected to a Linksys wireless router. My virtual lab extends over 1 laptop and 2 PCs.

  The computer hosting the virtual DNS server cannot ping either of two member servers in question, but they can ping the server DNS , default gateway (Linksys) and all real nodes or virtual network.

  In short, two more recently installed virtual machines cannot see each other. They cannot be seen by other nodes. But they can see all other nodes (real or virtual) on the network.

  ' Pings'on their part " succeed 100%. But pings 'their "or between them always expire.

  
  

  Remote Desktop connection can be established by the way of the problem machines for the DNS server. Yet, of the DNS server to them ICMP packets will fail.

  Once again... I am not employed in IT, but study. I have seen that this type of connectivity (ICMP) problem in misconfigured routing.

  It was a simple inbound firewall rule. I've never had to create a new inbound ICMPv4 rule for the other virtual machines on my network of laboratory. So, I had completely discarded the idea. But just for fun, I did. Problem solved. I only wish I knew why it happened.

• How VMWare Server 2 does not support ip addresses?

  I set up and install VMWare Server on my server and train trying to install Plesk. I got the network works so I can download.  I want to give the virtual machine VMWare it's own IP so I can connect via PuTTY instead of the console, which for example won't let me paste url (plesk download url is long).  I intend to host a few websites on Plesk Virtual Machine. I added the IP address of my network provider gave me using "setup" in CentOS and it listed in/sbin/ifconfig, but still doesn't work. I have to first add IP to host your own server? A VPS can be used directly or an ip address?

  I was able to run by using the networks bridged on eth0 and add only the ip address on the ifcfg-eth0 on the VPS. I would like to know how VMWare manages exactly networks. Can someone answer the questions I asked?

  Using the bridged network settings your guest vm will look like it is plugged directly into a nic port. If the guest virtual machine can be configured with the same IP as host system. Great if you want to have external users easily connect to the guest virtual computer because just the ip address of your network outside the host either dhcp or static. Physical switches and routers knows the ip and the guest virtual machine mac address, dns is updated, etc.

  Using the NAT your guest vm settings you get an ip address translated using a subnet that you have configured for NAT when you run vmware - config.pl. If the guest virtual computer will be configured on a different as internal schema being behind a linksys router, you have at home. Good if you want to communicate with other guests of virtual machine on the same network NAT on your host and external network have access but don't want the outside network really know on the guest virtual machine ip and mac directly. So everything looks like the host entry.

  After the installation of the Boot Drive Partition *, I see now two versions of the Virtual Machine Boot Camp. Is this normal? Can I delete one with no impact on my Boot Camp? Should I remove VMware Fusion altogether and reinstall so that I can have a clean virtual machine only the partition boot camp?

  *It is on a separate post, but can be linked... Initially, I installed VMware Fusion, without first running training Camp and installed a Microsoft XP operating system on it. It stopped working and I had a lot of problems with Windows that I decided to do a new installation, but this time using Boot Camp. I can see two VMS, (actually 3*), but I want to remove the first virtual machine without Boot Camp. I tried the virtual machine under users/Documents/Virtual Machines, but the directory is empty. I deleted the directory, just in case. When I returned to VMware Fusion, it can still start the virtual machine. I looked through the finder and can't find it. If not, how can I remove this virtual computer and free up space for the Mac?  (No need to answer this question if it is not related to the top)

  This partitioning is not supported. Please download GPT Fdisk from http://sourceforge.net/projects/gptfdisk/ and install it on the Windows side. Once it is installed, thanks for posting the output as indicated in the CMD window.

  I'm using LabVIEW 2012 evaluation of training mode in order to find a location using LabVIEW. A MVC tutorial looks like a very good example and I can open the first VI, Starter.vi of MVC, but when I try to open the project which includes screws to MVC OOP advanced with controls and Factory.vi, it must IMAQ live but when I try to install Vision in order to get the screws IMAQ, it needs LV 2011 installed in order to install the Vision and will not proceed with the installation of Vision/IMAQ.

  After searching the site OR days to get responses LVOOP I found this tutorial that could be useful, if it's actually working.

  Setup of Vision should probably work with 2012, but the installer was not setup to work with 2011 or later.

  In addition, I have not found a good description of what the MVC "framework" is all about.

  I used LabVIEW since the beginning of the 1990s, but not from my NI Suite which included LV 8 and LVOOP about 2007.   First, you must determine what version of LabVIEW, you: 2011, 2011 SP1, 2012, 2012 SP1. You can find this by opening LabVIEW and navigate using-> on LabVIEW...

• Cannot install win10 using iso file training camp

  What is the year/model of your Mac? Your signature says 2013 iMac.

  2015 and subsequent Macs use only ISO and create an internal partition called OSXRESERVED.

  2012-2014 macs need an external USB2 Flash drive, which will be erased/formatted by BC Assistant. The ISO file needs to be disassembled and some elements of the ISO are copied on the USB.

  Mac 2011 and more uses a physical Windows and built-in DVD in the optical drive must be fully functional.
