  Well, I fixed it myself. I open the PROGRAMS and FEATURES [win 7] and uninstalled iCloud I have seen that I installed yesterday and VIOLA! The keyboard and mouse are back!   Hope this helps other people who may have a similar problem.

  Just bought a new combo desktop Microsoft Sculpt comfort (keyboard and mouse). I have a problem with the mouse in Windows 7.

  This mouse has the button scan blue on the left where you can drag upward or down and click. I have this attached to a Dell E6520 laptop.

  In windows 8 the slide it towards the bottom of the function pulls the top of the list of open windows. In Windows 7, it's the browser's "back" button. I installed the latest microsoft mouse and keyboard software 2.3.

  When I first installed the drive, everything works as expected. Suddenly the button works like the browser's "back" button. A few hours later, or after a reboot slide down begins to open the windows instead. The only way to fix is to uninstall the driver and re install. I tried the USB in USB ports and all are working the same.

  How can I solve this problem? I called Microsoft support and they said to return the system and replace it. It is not a hardware problem and return it will do no good.

  Any help would be useful.

  In my workplace, we have 6 all in thinkcentre PC side by side on a desk. Recently, a mouse has stopped working, I then noticed that the mouse was infact controlling one away from the PC, even though she already had a both mouse control everything!

  I tried the key F2 + F3 + F4 on the keyboard combination, out batteries, changed the port USB receiver is connected to, reinstalled the drivers & checked the correspondence of the serial numbers on the keyboards and mice.

  Nothing has worked, worse yet another computer furthur down did exactly the same problem!

  Does anyone have an idea how to solve this problem?

  I got my desktop Dell Inspiron 3847 with Windows 7 computer (Windows 8.1 drive included) 17 March 2015.  In my opinion, only a Dell MS USB 3-button Optical Mouse (Dell Part #330-9546) should be included.  After taking everything out of the box of the computer, there is no mouse is located.

  There is a box inside the box which has 2 main compartments those open and see if its in the areas within these boxes.  It comes with power cord power supply, keyboard, mouse and microvision manual.

  As far as I know the mouse and keyboard drivers are the drivers Microsoft and Toshiba doesn't offer drivers for these devices except the driver for the touchpad to improve the touchpad options. I don t think that Toshiba is testing the feature with different games.

  Confused, it's that you have noticed the same problem using the external keyboard and mouse.
  Is there a possibility to test it with some older games?
