  • Sync Palm with Outlook 2007 takes 10 minutes

When I sync my palm Centro works (finally!), but it takes about 10 minutes to synchronize everything.  The e-mail and the information I have is on the MS Exchange Server, but I was able to sync this perfectly well with my office (also on the Exchange Server), but not with my new laptop.  It only takes 20 seconds to synchronize my Palm when I don't synchronize calendar or contacts.  I will not sync any message.  Any idea?  Thank you!!!

Well I have seen people for an exchange account sync and do not have this problem. So I would say that you talk to your IT and see if the data are correct in outlook and Exchange. What is hotsync is to see something and in regard to 'confuse' however to cross data. Or you can remove the account turned off the PC create new impetus of Outlook profile data from the device to the PC and reconfigure the Exchange to use only the account e-mail (if possible)

If you want we can install a different profile for your outlook contacts and calendar, so it does not synchronize the Exchange. But I would still recommend that you talk to your TI and see if they can do that anything first. They can solve this problem and keep everything in the outlook profile even if you do not have to switch back.

  • To establish between Zire 72 and Outlook 2007.

I am running Version 4.1.4 but can't seem to implement the conduit from Palm to Outlook 2007.  My last HotSync a error that outlook 2007 is not supported.  I spent some time on the phone with Palm, they said to go to http://kbpalm.com and enter the Code 8716 Solution.  When I did it, I got an error message saying that the item does not exist.  The agent said that she was unable to help.

Is there another way to set up the conduit?

Use the version that is on your CD or by Download Palm desktop 4.1.4e at the following link.

    http://KB.Palm.com/wps/portal/KB/common/article/32991_en.html

You will still need to download and install the Outlook 2007 Office of Palm conduits that I had listed in a previous post.

Palm desktop 6.2 release includes outlook 2007 lines, but is not listed as compatible for your handheld. 6.2 also reported data loss.

  • Windows mail transfer to office outlook 2007

Just upgraded Vista to windows 7. I would like to use Office outlook 2007 as my email client. Is it possible to get my old emails from windows mail to outlook?

    Thank you

Thanks Steve, its been a bit of mucking around, but I finally got there. You do not need to copy the file to your desk top, you just click file, import and export as you say then click outlook / import from another program or file, find the client that you want to import from and go for it. He said that he could not import, but as soon as I cliked ok another window came up and asked if you want to import all the emails, click ok/next and everything happened.

Thank you for pointing me in the right direction, Steve

  • Palm TX: Outlook via Microsoft Exchange synchronization, but no data is transferred

    Dear Group

I'm not a beginner. I am very computer and hardware gadget and intuitive software. My PalmTX syncs, but there is no data transferred. Previously, Sync worked well on Outlook 2003, 2007 and 2013. However, I started having problems with the transfer of data after synchronization when I lowered the score of 2013 Office to Office 2010. I've demoted office 2013 because it was a big eater of resources on my computer. I stripped all the reminants of office 2013 (including the reminants registry) before you install Office 2010 to ensure that there is no possibility of confusion for the Palm TX. I tried freezing and reinstall several times. Note, every time that I run this process, I uninstalled the software/files Outlook and Palm/all software including any reminants of registry. When I reinstalled, I started with the Outlook2007 then the PalmDeskTopSetup6.2.2, then the PalmConduit2007. Also, I tried several new synchro and cleaned/disable-dusted cables connectors for synchronization on the Palm TX itself... with no success.

I think the problem is that the conduit itself is not be trained. In Hotsync when I click Configure > change hotsync action > settings, I get an error message stating "Microsoft Outlook Conduit - an unknown error has occurred." Previously, this setting function would have text that would allow me to change how the conduit receives data (e.g. MS Exchange;) IMAP) I remember correctly - not 100% sure. If my suspicions are correct, one of the following values is corrupt: PalmDeskTopSetup6.2.2, PalmConduit2007 or MS Exchange. Given that I don't have a "fresh" copies of PalmDeskTopSetup6.2.2 and PalmConduit2007 because HP links no longer work, I ran a repair on my file of MS Exchange. It still has not fixed the problem. Note that whenever I have to uninstall/reinstall Outlook, I delete the MS Exchange and files all connected, as it recreates it from scratch when Outlook is reinstalled again. To be clear, does not preclude MS Exchange as the culprit because Microsoft adds a fix or security to every time something else change always 'breaks' :-).  I'm not sure what to do next. If anyone has had this problem or have any suggestions on what I could do to fix this? I really really need my at least my calendar of transferred to my Palm TX. Help, please. Thank you.

My computer and the Palm TX is the following configuration:

    * Win7 x 64

    * In the course of running Outlook 2007 (downgraded from 2010 to 2013 because MS Office Products are resource hogs on my computer)

    * Email Sources: MS Exchange (work) and local ISP (home - email IMAP) - both accounts are running simultaneously

    * Synchronize via USB

    * Driver: Akeeba to Win x 64

    * Software installation of operating system Palm: HP - PalmDeskTop6.2.2 (contains HotSync Manager 7.0.2); HP PalmOutlook2007Condiut

    * Message from the outlook journal file:

    Dear Group

I solved my problem. I wanted to share with you the solution for those of you who maybe had a similar problem AND you have tried all the suggestions that have been posted since the Palm OS/WinMo Forum without success. My problem is that something that she prevented the pipeline connecting my Palm Outlook of training courses. The result was that my Palm computer / would synchronize but no data (entered calendar, tasks, etc.) won't be transferred. Before we get to what has worked for me, run through the following options before trying my fix:

    1. BACK UP YOUR FILES! BACK UP YOUR FILES! BACK UP YOUR FILES!
    2. Repair your outlook (pst or ost) files - microsoft has detailed instructions on how to do this with your version of Microsoft outlook. Uninstall and reinstall the Palm components (Installation and relevant lines for your outllook files). Synchronize your Palm/and check for content transfer (calendar, tasks, etc.) for your Palm. If this is not successful...
    3. Delete your current outlook profile and create a new profile - microsoft has detailed instructions on how to do this with your version of Microsoft outlook. Synchronize your Palm/and check for content transfer (calendar, tasks, etc.) for your Palm. If this is not successful...
    4. Completely uninstall outlook, which will include the deletion of the relevant registry entries and system files. I HIGHLY recommend that you DO NOT attempt to do it "manually" yourself unless you experience such changes on your computer. Incorrect changes to your registry files or computer system will completely shut down your computer and ultimately to lose all your data because of the methods that will be needed to fix your mistake. The good news for those of you who have no expertise in this area is that Microsoft has made a DIFFICULTY IT PATCH REMOVAL TOOL that will automatically run a complete unstall of outlook or office.  -microsoft has detailed instructions on how to do this with your version of Microsoft outlook. Uninstall and reinstall the Palm components (Installation and relevant lines for your outllook files). Synchronize your Palm/and check for content transfer (calendar, tasks, etc.) for your Palm. If this is not successful...
    5. To ensure that your data are fully INDEXED. In your control panel, there must be a parameter called OPTIONS of INDEXING. If Indexing is not complete, follow instructions from Microsoft for your version of Windows to allow for the completion of indexing. Note that this will take time. You can do this night. Uninstall and reinstall the Palm components (Installation and relevant lines for your outllook files). Synchronize your Palm/and check for content transfer (calendar, tasks, etc.) for your Palm. If this is not successful... Uninstall the components of Palm. Return to the OPTIONS of INDEXING and completely Strip and rebuild your index from scratch by pressing the Refresh button in your version of Windows. Note that this will take time, again you can do this night or weekend depending on how much stuff you have on your computer. When finished, reinstall the components of Palm, synchronize your Palm/and check for content transfer (calendar, tasks, etc.) for your Palm. If this is not successful...
    6. Finally, what worked for me was creating a new WINDOWS PROFILE. I discovered thanks to make another system and software checks that I did not mention here that my WINDOWS PROFILE was damaged and it was what was causing the failure of training leads between my outlook and palm. How do you create a new windows profile will be different depending on your Version of the Windows operating system.  -microsoft has detailed instructions on how to do this with your version of Windows. Uninstall and then reinstall outlook. Uninstall and reinstall the Palm components (Installation and relevant lines for your outllook files). Synchronize your Palm/and check for content transfer (calendar, tasks, etc.) for your Palm.

    Good luck

  • Transfer of Smartphones from blackBerry Palm T3 to the BB Bold, any who have done this?

    I have a Palm T3, and I bought a BB "BOLD".

I have installed the Desktop Manager 4.7 and tried to transfer my address book and calendar from my Palm T3, but it does not work.

Anyone know if it is possible, from Plam T3 to BB Bold?

There are two ways to achieve this.

    (1) use the device switch Wizard in Office Manager.

    (2) synchronize your Palm with Outlook, then synchronize Outlook with your BB using Desktop Manager.

  • Transfer Thunderbird emails multiple accounts for Microsoft Outlook 2013

I use several Thunderbird email accounts in my office. Now, I want to spend my mails to MS Outlook.but the problem is that MS Outlook will create different PST files to different accounts.i want to retrieve my emails in single PST files.

I also searched but there is no manual method. I heard that the third-party tool can do this.can someone suggests good utility for this.

My data are highly confidential and should not be any loss in the mails.

I am also attaching my Thunderbird email with screen capture position.

Manual method is a difficult task. You can easily transfer your emails from Thunderbird to MS Outlook by using third-party conversion software.i facing the same problem.i tried the following utility. It converts all my accounts of Thunderbird in one box of PST.you also try the free demo version of the software.

  • Outlook 2007 can be used with Office 2003?

Is it possible to use Outlook 2007 in Microsoft Office 2003? I use Office 2003 at home and work, but I noticed that my iPhone and Google can interface with 2007 more easily. If I buy Outlook 2007, can I install it on Outlook 2003? I have no interest in installing Office 2007 because it would create havoc in the transfer of documents among my peers and co-workers.

At this point, it's more a intellectual curiosity than something I will do.

Thank you for taking the time to analyze it.

Uninstall Outlook 2003, install outlook 2007
You will not have full integration with Office 2003 and OL2007 components

BTW, Office 2007 can create docs in the old format

In Outlook, create a new folder in your contacts, name it anything you want and MOVE in this folder of contacts from Outlook, you do not want to synchronize to the BlackBerry.

  • Problems switching from Palm to Outlook Dekstop

    Hello

I'm doing the same thing - I always Sync my Tungsten E use of Palm Desktop on my PC (to work) and my Mac (at home).
but now I want to sync with my Outlook 2007 calendar to work.  I have both used the CD that came with my Tungsten and downloaded a new copy of the Palm
Desktop 4.1.4 but never at any point in the installation process that I am asked to choose to sync with Outlook or Palm Desktop, so the tungsten continuous
    for synchronization with Palm Desktop.

I downloaded and installed the Updater of pipes Palm Outlook 2007 I saw recommended to that effect in another thread,
Although I looked in my HD and the folder that contains it is empty.  Also, if I go to the start menu / programs, I don't have Palm Desktop, nothing that comes
said 'Palm tree' or 'PalmOne', so I guess that the Conduit Updater has not been installed properly?  I remember that once the installation
finished, a window is come to the top that said I might need to restart, and that if I restart it, the update automatically open when you restart and ask me to
continue.  He never told me I should certainly restarts, and whether or not I did, nothing happened after that.

    Any ideas?

I am running Windows XP with Office 2007.

    Thank you

Re: HELP - switch from Palm to Outlook

    2 choices

    1. launch the cd supplied with your device and choose
change the synchronization method, and then click Synchronize with Microsoft Outlook

    2. go to start / all programs/palm or palm0ne/pim conduit
synchronization/synchronization with Outlook on your computer

If you use the software from the CD there should be a mixer included thereon. so even if you were not invited to choose between outlook and palm desktop, you can always on after installation if in case you want to. However, im still pretty confused to hear that he has not asked allows you to choose between the two ducts Manager. in any case, here's how to make the switch.

    1. After installing palm desktop cd for tungsten e

2 browse the cd by the menu/button to boot your PC right click and select Explorer

    3. Locate the CD-ROM drive in your PC when the CD is inserted

    4. open the CD and find the folder called PostInstall

    5. inside of this folder, you can see 4 folders in which 3 of them are .exe files (Blender of togo, versamail and prospects of the docs)

    6. choose selector Outlook by double clicking it

If you encounter an error when you try to go, your installation is not complete and it must remove. but otherwise, just follow the instructions on the screen. You can also switch to 4.2 where you can see this mixer in palm under Programs folder but try you this option first if you do not upload to the web.

  • Transfer of information from a .sparsebundle to Bootcamp

    Hey guys,.

A few months ago, my computer is having problems, and my computer technology store decided to uninstall and reinstall my OS x and Windows partitions. Before they did, I supported the two partitions on an external hard drive. The shop reinstalled the two partitions, but for some reason some they did not transfer all the data from my old drive bootcamp back on my current partition. My external hard drive has a picture of .sparsebundle that seems to have all the data that I'm missing. How can I transfer the information from this disc image on my current bootcamp drive?

You can open the sparsebundle on OSX? If so, check out the files you need on the side OSX, switch to Windows and copy the files of the side OSX to Windows (provided that you can see the files in os x Windows system).

You should not attempt a restore from the sparsebundle to Windows for your Applications, it will cause problems.
