Trojan:DOS / Alureon.a under vista and it will not erase!

I used Microsoft Security Essentials, and it's not about him, other than the ID. Continues to freeze my Toshiba laptop and popups appear and Windows cannot check the updates. How can I get rid of this?

See the instructions of recovery here: http://www.microsoft.com/security/portal/Threat/Encyclopedia/Entry.aspx?Name=Trojan%3aDOS%2fAlureon.A

Note that you need a full installation of Vista disc to repair. The manufacturer's recovery disk will not work.

TDSSKiller from Kaspersky can work http://support.kaspersky.com/faq/?qid=208283363

You can try a sweeping security offline using Microsoft Standalone System Sweeper.
