Try to connect to a remote VPN server

This task was bleeding in my eyes. I can't make it work. I understand the principle of TCP-OUT ACCORD - IN but can't seem to reconcile it kind includes the firewall.

Long and short of the situation:

Company a static IP address assigned by the local society of DSL

All computers inside network enjoy outdoor internet access and interconnectivity

Remote VPN host has static IP

Configuration VPN of a properly established and the remote control accounts are active.

Does not connect when good ID and PASSWORD are entered.

Anyone tried this before. Please assume that I have the skill level of a child of 5 years and the patience of the same thing.

In any case, we need a little more information here to go, it's a connection to a PIX PPTP you talk, or a router? Or is it IPSec (you mentioned GRE, that's why I think you speak of free WILL). Is the user authentication is done locally on the endpoint VPN device, or is it a server Radius/GANYMEDE involved?

Can you send in the configuration of the end device, ensuring xxxxx valid IP addresses and passwords?

    When I tested missing missing datafile and control file scenario on the primary database, it worked (Advisor to recover data)

    However, missing datafile scenario does not work on the physics of the day before.

    6. of course RMAN commands have failed to restore the missing data file;
    So I renamed the file to original and rebooted repeat services applies - this restore the data file and now the configuration state of the DG is normal.

    Not quite sure if I'm still he hands the right way or if the error above is related to RMAN not able to synchronize with the physics of the day before.

    I got a set up for a while - Remote Desktop connection, but yesterday, my power is out, turn off my computer while I was on it.  Now, whenever I try to connect to my remote desktop I get the following error Message: "unable to load the ActiveX control terminal services."  Make sure that c:\windows\system32\mstscax.dll lies in the path"I use Windows Vista.  Any help would be GREATLY appreciated! :)

  • Misconfigured remote VPN server by using IPSEC client

    I'm trying to figure out what I did wrong in my setup.  The environment is:

    ASA 5505 running 8.2 with 6.2 ASDM.

    Version of the VPN Client 5.0.05.0290

    I installed VPN ipsec clients both anyconnect and connected successfully to the remote access VPN server. However, the client doesn't show any returned package.  Thinking that I have badly configured, I have reset to the default value of the factory and began again.  Now I only have the configured ipsec vpn and I have exactly the same symptoms.  I followed the instructions to configure the ipsec vpn in Document 68795 and double-checked my setup and I don't know what I did wrong.  Because I can connect to the internet from inside network and I can connect to the VPN from outside of the network (and the ASDM Watch monitor an active connection with nothing sent to the client) I believe this is a road or an access rule preventing communication but I can't quite figure out where (and I tried the static routes to the ISP and a wide variety of access rules before rinsing to start) above).

    Looks like a typo for the Pool of IP subnet mask.

    You currently have:

    Please kindly change the foregoing and test, if it still does not work, please please add the following:

    Then try to VPN in and see if you can ping 10.92.65.1 and let us know if this ping works.

    Please also share the output of: "cry ipsec to show his" after the trial, if it does not work.

  • Connectivity to the remote VPN site adjacent networks

    Star topology with Corporate office which acts as hub (192.168.1.x) and remote sites connected by relay frames, except for another network (172.16.x.x) in the building served by 3560 switch company.

    On my remote site vpn (10.0.1.x) I can ping network 172.16.x.x, but not the 192.168.1.x network. What I'm trying to do is to allow the network traffic remote 10.0.1.x (which connects directly via the VPN network 172.16.x.x) to reach the network 192.168.1.x and vice versa.

    I'm sure its a combination of NAT/routing issue I forget.

    I'm new to PIX / ASA in general and it's the first vpn L2L I install. If someone can point me in the right direction, I would appreciate it.

    and that you can currently communicate via the tunnel between 10.0 and 172.16? In order to communicate between 10.0 and 192.168.1, you will need to define this interesting traffic and add it to your crypto and nat exemption acl.

    It is important that you keep updated IE. The information included with your question indicates that you use IE7; you need to update to IE8 for your own protection. IE9 will be available for Windows XP.

  • Try to connect to a remote computer and it says I am already connected

    I am connected to my home computer on Monday last by vpn.  I thought that I 'disconnected', but my computer cannot have full closed.  Now, when I try to connect at home, I get a 'already connected to this computer.  I don't know how to delete it or close it because I'm not.  I tried hot and cold boot but nothing helped.  I looked at the Task Manager to see if I could see that something related but didn't.   Everyone had to happen and if so, I do I fix. It?  Also, I'm going home XP Windows7 professional and it worked great!

  • Cannot connect to the easy VPN server

    Successfully, I can ping 192.168.99.1 but when I start AnyConnect (enter this IP address as serveraddress) on my IPhone, it first says that the server certificate is not valid (I ignore because it is self-signed..) and when I press continue it says that no link could be established.

    What can be the problem?

    It is very likely that you have a configured PAT-pool and simply use the Word key "overload" when from your external interface. In this command, you reference an ACL (or an ACL in a road map) where we need to ensure that your VPN-pool in included in the traffic using a NAT.

  • MAX crashes when you try to connect to the remote server in VISA

    Hi, I'm running a problem with MAX OR when trying to setup of a client/server VISA system.  I had the first server tried 4.3 visa but she not even me would record the port on the server settings.  When I tried to connect to the server from a remote machine to access the RS232 ports, it could hang NI MAX or do nothing, depending on how I tried to implement.  If I click with the right button on the remote system in the right configuration pane and follow the wizard through, it doesn't matter, if I go to the toolbar tools-NI-VISA options and follow the wizard, NI Max crashes at the end.  Then I went online and got the version 4.4.1 and tried with the same results.  I also have abnormalities in safeguarding some configurations OR max leading me to question if there are questions of privileges.  The operating system is Windows XP Pro with Service Pack 2 on all machines.  I'm logged on with administrator rights and everything seems to have full read/write privileges, but I still have problems.  The issue of saving the port settings, I tried manually setting the parameters, as described in

    but unsuccessfully in version 4.3, but it worked very well when I upgraded to 4.4.1 without modification of rights or privileges so some things seem weird.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Network is fine, I can ping the server to the client computer and permissions are set on the server and the client is pointing the right machine.

    Thanks for the reply.  We use MAX 4.5 so it wasn't the problem.  We are not exaclty sure what the problem is / was set apart he healed himself when we all uninstalled and deleted the VXIPNP directory and reinstalled everything.  When we did, everything came and worked as it should.  One thing that may or may not be relevant, is when I was put in place of the customers, I went through the Options Tools - NI of VISA-VISA to complete configuration rather than right click on remote systems.  Previously, this would cause MAX to crash when you complete the wizard if I though it would be a good test when I put first and, since it worked, I followed this procedure on the rest of the computers.  Anyway the problem is solved and it works.  Thanks again for the input.

  • Error 0 x 80004005 When you try to connect to a remote server

    We have a server everyone in our office who can connect remotely through wifi of office, but a member of the team keeps getting an error 0 x 80004005 When trying to access the server directly. I installed MicrosoftFixit50409, which was supposed to disable IPv6 and he was able to get on the server from the desktop again. Now he is back at the office a few days later, he once more can not access the server. Nobody else has this problem with their computers (a mix of Microsoft 7) and 8.

    When I run diagnostics on the connection error, he returned with the following text: "your computer seems to be configured correctly, but the device or resource (* our company server name *) does not."

    Any suggestions on a permanent difficulty on how I can get this computer to access the company's server without having to reinstall this Fixit program every time that he Vienna? It runs Microsoft 7 and connects to the wifi office, just not the shared server.

  • You cannot connect to the Internet after connect you to a VPN server

    I have the same problem as described in http://support.microsoft.com/kb/317025/en-us
    In my case I am connected to the VPN (PPTP), which is implemented on a router (so no need for a computer is always on). When connecting to the VPN using the "connect to a network" in the network and sharing Center, my all internet traffic through the VPN. Instead, I need just to some programs to connect via VPN.
    Does anyone have a solution for Win7 Pro 64-bit?
