• Why shadow lines appeared when I take pictures?

  Everything worked perfectly, but when I took a picture today some shadow purple and black lines appeared on the screen, then on the picture.   I cleaned the lens, and it made no difference.  If I change the camera in mode selfie there are no lines.   This mini iPad 4 is only a few weeks old.

• Why do I get error "20019 ADC conversion failed" with my pci-6143, when I try to use the DIO lines?

  I am tyring to use one of the digital input lines on my PIC-6143 to go to the connection "enable" on the "write to file measure" vi.  I have two cards PCI-6143 acquiring analog signals of 8 channels per step, plus I have a digital DAQ assistant to the sample line of DIO 2 on one of the cards.  Normally I can start and stop recording using a signal of 5V to the DIO port several times until I get the error.

  Strangely, when I use a simple Boolean "Record" button at the port of the 'writing on a file as' enable vi, I never get this ADC error no matter how many times I press the button.

  Please ignore this message.  The whole issue has been resolved by copying and pasting the VI in a new file in VI.  The new file ran perfectly.  Must have been a compilation of LabView or something error.

  In the case of Yahoo mail, the OPEN WEB LOCATION box opens for each letter, that I try to type in the line 'To' and/or the 'subject line ' of all new email to someone. I type a letter, the box opens, and I can't type in the window of email anywhere until I have shut the box. I close the box, type another letter and the gain of OWL box open. It takes forever to type anything. It started when I updated Firefox to the new version of 21. I uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox. No help. I uninstalled 21 and re-installed the 19 (I used 19 with no problems until today). No help. The problem will not go away. I note that others have complained about this problem. Is there a fix yet? I was forced to IE in the meantime.

  When you have completed the installation of El Capitan, the Setup program deletes itself. So if you have not copied somewhere else, you will have again the download on the App Store.

  View of a FP is attached. I have a (circled) indicator that I would remove the shadow lines, so that the numbers have no plan whatsoever (when feasible).

  The file is in png format, so hopefully I won't make somebodies ire up... if I have... my apologies.

  PNG is the preferred format for image files. So, thank you.

  The best way to get a control or the indicator to have invisible borders is to use the classical orders.  They do not have the effects of shading and can easily be Transparent color.

• OfficeJet Pro 8600: Officejet Pro 8600 leaves black lines on docs scanned when using the document feeder

  This is the second HP Officejet Pro 8600 I had - one was replaced by HP, after that the same issue arose.  I tried to clean the entire unit, but we still get a thin black line running vertically down the page.  This line is divided into sections of 1 "and 2.5" in length.  Sometimes I get the fine line and then almost a shadow line that is parallel.

  Any suggestions would be very appreciated I have scan documents to PDF format and it's hassle to put everyone on the flat for scanning.  I use the charger of the doc on a daily basis and wonder if this could have something to do with the lines.

  The question is a spec on thin (~ 1 "wide) glass to the left of the main bed scanner.  Clean this area as described in this document.  It can be difficult to see the affected area, a bright flashlight which is held at an angle to the glass can help find the place.  Even a very small spec on the glass can cause a black line when using the ADF.

  Line gauge - IMAQ is a combination of caliper IMAQ (to some extent) and the distances from point to point IMAQ
  -As you can see in the help file, you can get to a Point, edge-edge, edge-point and point-edge distances.

  -Fixing simple example with image to give away. Try to play around by changing the coordinates of line and the type of measurement you need.

• Fax fails on a single number, then worked on the second try

  I have an Officejet Pro 8600.  It works great except for one problem.  I have to fax my timesheet to another office, so I programmed the fax number in the telephone directory on the fax.  When I send the fax, I get a printout of fax failed with error 351.  I turn around and there refax, and she goes through fine.

  This happens without fail every time this number only.  I can fax other places very well, but not this one.  I tried to return the number in the phonebook and I tried to manually dial the number, but the same thing happens.  First test gives the error message and second test is going through.

  Any ideas on what may be the problem?

  The rerouting would make sense - if you try the number very soon, within seconds, and the 'way' is blocked, then the signal - phone call or fax - find another way to make endpoint.

  There may just be something on the path of this company in particular or place in the world of telephone line, which is difficult to reach for this fax signal.

  The explanation may be completely wrong.

  I've dealt with this kind of question at our two locations for decades (Yes) - there is not a lot that's not happened to our son, boxes, poles: animals, bees, cable crews working on "other equipment", storms, ice, rocks, trees (branches or trees all fall), the occasional Act of vandalism, mystery suddenly disconnects, cars crashing into the junction boxes (it was exciting for a while - our phone is connected to a mystery phone number) for a few days) and just plain old noisy, dirty, bad weak signals.

  • Try a filter of such line suggested in fax configuration instructions, if such is available for your printer.
  • Make sure that you are using the telephone line that is appropriate as it is shipped with the printer therefor, if such has been provided in the box.
  • If there is a wireless phone very close to the printer, move it a little further - say a metre or more.   This is useful if the wireless telephone is an older type, say the 2.4 GHZ that may interfere with the wireless.  It can help the fax?  Meh.  It does not hurt to have things like neat and confrontational as possible 'no' when you have weird questions.
  • Make sure the wires just behind the point of connection into your wall jack for the connection of telephone line, are wired safely and are not loose.  You should only remove the plate and check it.   Be careful, of course, especially if this isn't your area of expertise - have a friend to watch if you're not comfortable with the idea.

  You can also enable and disable BlackBerry project by right-clicking the project and selecting enable for BlackBerry.  Active projects are bolded and have a check mark next to this menu item.  Ongoing projects are built and copied in the BlackBerry smartphone Simulator.

  Don't know exactly how to set the icon of the application in the fllash burrito generator. Oh, and now I've changed the code back to until I edited it and I still have this error.

  If you really know the error to go away, this thread would recommend rebuild your application. Not ideal, but if you're willing to spend per burrito you.

  Another tip is to try to name your icon blackberry-tablets - icon.png. I know that others have had success with call it something else, but mine works with this naming convention.
