Try to install Windows 10
Tried to install Windows 10 for the last 3 days. Whenever I have to wait until after midnight because of my provider, because it has to dl the/3 gb again. I get only 10 GIG per month unless I go online between 12 and 05:00. After nearly 3 GB of dl, then the installation process, it gets to half-way through the installation and returns to Win 7 Pro. It comes up with a msg of error 80070006-2000 c. I watched this and there seems to be an error with the video driver. I go online and my vid drivers all show updated the latest drivers. I have the video card NVIDIA GeForce GTX460. Any help would be appreciated.

Hello
When I try to install Windows XP Home (including SP3) on my new L350D-11 has a blue screen after loading the drivers.
When booting with Kubuntu Live CD (8.x) appears an error message: / sbin/modprobe out anomalous. At least I need Windows XP because of some programs that do not work under Vista. Is it possible to install XP?
Hello
Hmm I think the BSOD appears because you didn t add SATA drivers in the Win XP operating system.
However, you can try to install Win XP on your laptop without the use of the SATA driver, but you can change the SATA AHCI in the BIOS in compatible mode.
Check it out!

Windows XP SP3 problem
Recently, I met a problem with my PC and was forced to use the system recovery. Now I'm back to factory settings and try to install Windows XP Service Pack 3 on my computer. Windows Update won't work for me, that whenever I try to update I get [error number: 0x8024400A]. I think it's because I use Service Pack 2, or that's what I concluded after researching the problem, anyway.
This is not my real concern, however. Because I could not get the update automatically, I tried to download and install the "Windows XP Service Pack 3 Network Installation Package for IT professionals and developers" myself. The first time I did it, I restarted the PC after the installation and was met with "We apologize for the inconvenience, but Windows did not start successfully. A recent hardware or software change might have caused this. " I went into safe mode and went to a just system restore point before SP3 was installed, but now I don't know how to install it correctly without encountering this problem after reboot. I'm hardly the easy just stick with SP2 when there are potentially important available updates. How can I get Windows Service Pack 3 is installed on my PC?
It's certainly interesting!
If the cause of your problem is to have a HP PC with an AMD processor and an original image on your hard drive (and of course it sounds like this is the case), the solution should be to rename the file intelppm.sys and launch the sp37394.exe patch. Once done, the SP3 file that you downloaded from here:SHOULD work!I'm puzzled why there is no intelppm.sys file in your directory C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers.Since you recently returned to square one with your PC ("return to factory settings"), then you may as well run the patch from this page:and try the SP3 Setup file again. But, first, let's be absolutely sure that we are both using the same terminology. Please answer the following questions:1. have you safely backed up ALL your data?2. what method did you use to ride "back to factory settings? I think that your choices have been a destructive restore (full) and a (partial) non-destructive recovery. The first erases the disk and leave you with a pristine image and NOTHING ELSE (which means that all of your programs and data get deleted). The other (which does not always correctly) is supposed to leave programs and data intact. -
Original title: could not start the Service "Windows Defender" (WINDEFEND)
When you try to install Windows Defender, I get an error message that
"Service"Windows Defender"(WINDEFEND) was able to start. Make sure you have sufficient privileges to start system services.
How can I check which privileges I have and I need?
I noticed in the management of the tasks that Norton symlcsvc.exe ran and I was wondering if it was who collide with the Defender, so I temporarily stopped Symantec process running in the field of Services, but still had the same result, try to run the installation of the Defender.

Product ID invalid when you try to install Windows XP on VMware.
XP installation of VMwareHello
I have a PC under win 7. and I am trying to Flash an old router to wireless access point for a spot of dead in my house. To cut a long story short, I need to Flash the router using a software program that does that on XP (I tried the compatibility options in Windows 7 and it does not work). Then I put on the implementation of a virtual machine using VMware and an old copy of XP, I had. However, when I try and install XP I get the error that the product id is not valid. Now, I know that the software is legitimate - it was part of a XP operating system provided with an HP laptop - so my question is how I can get through the installation? I will not buy another XP code - after all I will ever use again once I finished the flash - and for the same price, I could buy a new router!. I just want to save the Earth, a small piece of discharge potential and save myself $20!Any help appreciatedMHi MarkPinches,

· The computer have any OS installed?
· Are you able to boot to the desktop?
If you are not able to boot to the desktop and then remove the external devices except the keyboard and mouse, perform a chkdsk from the recovery console and then try to install Windows.
To run chkdsk from the Windows Recovery console. You can check the links for a description of the Windows XP Recovery Console

Important: If all available hard disk data can be lost when running chkdsk, as the chkdsk attempts to repair the affected area.
I hope this helps.

try to install windows defender get message - remove microsoft client protection help please
You apparently Forefront security or installed Microsoft Security Essentials. If this is the case, you can not install Windows Defender. MSE already has an element antispyware anyway. So what antivirus/security software you have already installed on the computer? I don't like Windows Defender on XP machines in any case. A better choice is MalwareBytes' Anti-Malware (free versions). Install and update / it run manually once a week or more. MS - MVP - Elephant Boy computers - don't panic!

Hi Mitchjr,
· You have databases of security of Microsoft or Windows live OneCare software installed on the computer?
If you have two Microsoft Security databases or Windows live OneCare software installed on the computer, you will not be able to install Windows defender on the computer. You will need to uninstall them or do not install Windows defender on the computer.
If you don't have Microsoft Security Essentials or Windows live OneCare software installed on the computer then you will need temporary deactivation of security software installed on the computer and then try to install Windows defender.
Important: Antivirus software can help protect your computer against viruses and other security threats. In most cases, you should not disable your antivirus software. If you do not disable temporarily to install other software, you must reactivate as soon as you are finished. If you are connected to the Internet or a network during the time that your antivirus software is disabled, your computer is vulnerable to attacks.
