  I have been using G wireless since the purchase of my X61t in August 2008. Finally stepped up to N in my house.   Diagnostic tool from Intel PROSet / Wireless works fine until it gets to the Association Test and does not say, "not linked".

  Although the router is set to broadcast a windows diagnosis indicates that the network is hidden. Weird.

  Because the other computer is fortunately I agree with windows that the problem lies in the configuration of the Intel card. 61 x sees the internet via a cable - no problem!

  I have "fixed" the connection - but who put in quotes because I don't know what I did to make it work. I think that these were settings of the router automatically changed by a firmware update I did as part of troubleshooting. Perhaps those (or more exactly do not keep Super-une attention on the order of the changes and related measures) assigned to my sense of what "worked".

  I was about to update this driver to a version of June 2010. I bet that's the link you provided... I found that... but I let the drive where it is until everything else works computer here. Not broken don't fix it...

  Sheesh. These devices of productivity, right?

  Now, I hope that the flavor of "N" is really faster.

  I tried to set up a database with MySQL and DW to create my php pages, but I can't find the shareware version of MySQL on their site. I have version 5.0.37 MySQL community Edition installed on my local machine but I don't know if it's a customer or the actual server to create the databases and tables. Do you know where I can download the files needed to do? I have a virtual server over here, I could use to set up the mySQL server. We will buy the commercial version once I have become familiar with php and mySQL. I have a good understanding of the RDMS fo and the SQL. The harderest to me thing is setting up a test in DW server and connect to MySQL.

  The Community Edition contains the client and the server. It is a complete system

  I've seen people once they have gotten this error, but none of them really apply to my situation.

  Right now I use LabVIEW example code to read from a device manufacturer. This device is connected using a Tripp Lite USB adapter series (http://www.tripplite.com/en/products/model.cfm?txtSeriesID=782&txtModelID=2430) for the connection from the PC to device with RS232. The adapter works fine when using the software prepared in advance (not LabVIEW) given by the manufacturer and the COM port is seen by LabVIEW. When I run the program, I get the property node (arg 1) visa set up a Serial Port (Instr) .vi (I've also attached the VI but it's a standard VI I got of LabVIEW). I get this error despite the fact that I use the same COM port, who has worked with the manufacturer's software.

  Try to restart the PC and then try the LV version before trying other software.

  I have seen thrid party serial interfaces work on the first try but fail when you switch to another application. It was as if the pilot did not know that it was no longer the first process.

  Not surprising. Name of your server is not SMTP and your account name is not POP. You need get the settings appropriate to your mail server.

  I'm trying to get better performance from my pc. I am running a quad core C.P.F. and try to set the affinity for certain programs are not not multi thread. (PC ONLINE EVERQUEST GAME 2)
  I managed to channel some programs, but when I try to set the affinity for Everquest I comes up with an error message.  'ACCESS DENIED '.

  I found a page that had a work around, but I could not quite work on what they were saying.

  If you know an easy way to do it could you help me please.
