TSSTcorp CD/DVGW TS-L532M

I own a HP Pavilion dv4000 with a TSSTcorp CD/DVGW TS-L532M ATA device, and when I put a cd, no matter if it a game PC, DVD or cd, the computer does not recognize it. The flashing to the reader of CD as if it's reading, then the light stays on, and the appearance of the desktop, said that it is not a cd in the drive. What is the problem?

    Hello

19 code means there is a driver conflict such as two devices attempt to use the same resources.

    Try this - Panel - Device Manager - CD/DVD - double-click on the device - driver tab - click
Update the drivers (this will probably do nothing) - then RIGHT click the drive - UNINSTALL - REBOOT
This will refresh the default driver stack.

Normally the above will solve this problem otherwise working your way down through them, even if you did

Some DVD players do not use the Windows default drivers so check with the manufacturer of system and

  • The moderator last night found my problem of tracking both ed keys are corrupt. I lost the contact before I had the names of the two keys. My TSSTcorp cd/DVGW ts 552D is not recognized by windows XP. What are the two keys, please?

No changes have been made to my computer.  The cd player is sometimes recognized by windows XP maybe once a month.  It is not playing audio files or music CD or movie videos either.

I'll give you a link to an automatic fix for these two registry keys, but it really sounds like the optical drive is a failure. Replace an optical drive, it is very cheap and very easy to do.

Try following the steps under "Windows 7 or Windows Vista" in the MS KB article:

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/982116

These measures, to remove the UpperFilters and LowerFilters, values if they exist, in the registry key named can help.

Create a System Restore Point beforehand and restart the computer later.

    Hello

Please ALL these even if you've done it before as it's often the total process that
solves the problem. You should also check with the system manufacturer as some readers do not use windows
by default the drivers and need their own, use the bottom and if no joy check on the site of the manufacturer of the system.

    Try this - Panel - Device Manager - CD/DVD - double-click on the device - driver tab - click
Update the drivers (this will probably do nothing) - then RIGHT click the drive - UNINSTALL - REBOOT
This will refresh the default driver stack. Even if the reader does not appear to continue below.

Then, work your way through these - don't forget the drive might be bad, could be a loose cable or
slight corrosion on the contacts (usually for a laptop) and other issues.

  • Problem with TSSTcorp TS-L632D TO04 CD/DVGW stoped burning CD and DVD

Hello world! The problem is basically just, he doesn't want to write/burn any cd/dvd brand more. He works wonders for little over a year and recently developed this problem. I'm sure that's not media brands I've tried with several. The problem with Nero, Alcohol120%, MagicISO, PowerISO, Burn4Free, regardless of what I am trying to burn data, audio, regular programs or images. Note that I am able to write with alcohol with success but there is in fact nothing on the CD and Nero burns the data also but fails to verify after the fact and gives an error. Writing on DVD R/RW is completely failed, creating coasters. Also the Player opens without reason and when he wants. I have laptop Toshiba A200 - 1 MB under original Vista Home Premium. Here's an error report, hopefully it'll help. Thanks and any assistance is much appreciated!

Try to remove the CD/DVD filters in the registry.
When the associated CD/DVD (such as iTunes, Nero, virtual CD software), the software is installed, they install filters in the registry, which can cause compatibility problems.

    (1) run Regedit (start-> Run-> Regedit)
    2) navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Contro l\Class\ {4D36E965-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}
    (3) in the right pane, delete the "UpperFilters" key and delete the key "LowerFilters".
    (4) restart.

If your CD/DVD programs stop working, you will need to reinstall them (preferably with an updated version).

This utility can remove the filters for you:
    http://www.CSD.Toshiba.com/content/support/bulletins/su2065061/RmvFltrs.exe

Also remove the dust on the lens with a clean Microfiber cloth.

  • Satellite L655-12 q - CD/DVD-rom can't burn CDs

    Hello

    I use a Satellite L655-12 q, model number short PSK1EE.
It has a tsstcorp CD/DVGW, type ts-L633c. My rom reads and burns DVDs fine, but can not read or burn CDs, especially when the size of the files involved is small.

    Can someone please help?
    Thnx.

On this virtual path, it is not easy to say what is wrong, but if there is problem with playback too, it may be a malfunction of the equipment. Perhaps more calibration doesn t the goal and objective cannot be placed in the right position to read/write CD.

    Warranty is still valid?

  • Satellite A - will not burn CDs

    Hi guys,.

My tsst ts-l632 drive does not burn. I tried different ways to burn CDs. Nero, imgburn, itunes, windows media player. They all get the same results: software says burning was a success but the check fails. When I eject the blank and pop back in windows Explorer says it's still a blank CD.

All with the same batch of bullies. On my notebook of Peacock roommates same whites work like a charm. Also I use this brand of CD for years. My sister told me she had the same problem with its Satellite P100 and the same brand of CD.

I wrote an e-mail the cd manufacturer and they said I could update the firmware of my drive, but I can't find anywhere.

    The data on my drive:
    TSSTcorp cd/DVGW-TS-L632DT004
    version: t004
    code OEM: tf

    Hey,.

What brand of CD that you use, and it works with the DVD?
I doubt that this firmware update can fix this

You should test with mediums of high quality like Verbatim or TDK discs. I've used both brands and they still function perfectly.
    Check this box!

In addition, take a look in the Device Manager. Your drive is listed with a yellow exclamation point?

  • What are the games are running on the Satellite A200-1GH

In fact, I want to know * what games * _exactly_ now run on your laptop with the following config:
    -----
    + Satellite A200-1GH (PSAECE) +.
Mobile DualCore Intel Core Duo T2450 2000 MHz
2 GB of SDRAM DDR-2667 Kingston

    HARD drive - TOSHIBA MK1237GSX ATA Device (120 GB, 5400 RPM, SATA-II)
    Optical - TSSTcorp CD/DVGW TS-L632D ATA Device
Network - Realtek RTL8101 Family PCI - E Fast Ethernet NIC (NDIS 6.0)
    DirectX 10.0
    DirectDraw - 7.15.11.5616 - nVIDIA ForceWare 156.16
    -----

I really wonder about your question.
Do you know how many PC games exist on this wonderful and beautiful world?

So maybe this might help you.
Check the details of the game! For most every game developer publishes the hardware configuration requirements for each game.

Then compare it with the specifications of your laptop and then you have it ;)

  • Need help get the dvd to play

Can a cd & dvd play on my D: drive?  If Yes, what should I do to make this happed? Currently, both D & E: drives say cd: drive.no mention of dvd player.

Maybe you don't have a DVD player?

First, launch Device Manager... Reach... Start/run and
type or copy / paste devmgmt.msc and press ENTER.

In the... Device Manager expand the section that says: CD-ROM/DVD-ROM drives.

Names and models of your optical drives should be visible.

If one of the disks is compatible DVD... it will say... DVD.

    Examples:

TSSTcorp CD/DVGW TS-H552B (read and write CD and DVD)
DVD - ROM TSSTcorp TS-H352A (read CDs and DVDs)

Another thought... If your goal is to play commercial DVD movies...
Windows XP does not natively recognize commercial DVD-video...
It requires a DVD decoder. And you must have a DVD drive.

If you could play before commercial video DVD... make one

You have disk problems as the CD/DVD is actually 4 discs in 1 case (CD & DVD burning and)
Playback of CD and DVD). So it is not unusual for parts from 1 or 2 to not work so that others do
    correctly.

    A CD/DVD cleaner might help.

    ------------

Step 1: Please do all the same underneath if you did some before as is often total
a process that solves the problem.

Try this - Panel - Device Manager - CD/DVD - double click on the device - driver tab.
Click on update drivers (this will probably do nothing) - RIGHT click ON the drive - uninstall.
RESTART this will refresh the default driver stack. Even if the reader does not appear to continue
    below.

Then, work your way through these - don't forget the drive might be bad, could be a coward

    Hello

In general, error code 39 can be caused by a missing required device driver, a required binary file is damaged, if there is a problem with the

TSSTcorp cd/DVGW-ts-h652m ata device, it's my player to cd for some reason, I can't burn cd/DVDs, but the reader will read these and play them, also it won't read burned DVDs, Noah he reformatted dvd, how can I solve this problem

    Hello

Have you tried to close all programs and then insert the disc in the drive?

You have disk problem as the CD/DVD is actually 4 discs in 1 case (burn CD & DVD and CD and DVD read).
Therefore, it is not unusual for 1 or 2 rooms with not so work that others do it properly.

Burning at low speed, or by using the master could help. A CD/DVD cleaner might help.

CD have a tolerance + - and you have to write on the side outside their tolerance. They can be given
However, it is generally more economical to replace the disk.
