• Apex 3.2 with a foreign language display problems

  Hi, I am a newbie in the APEX. We want to develop our new project using Apex. I did some exercises with apex 3.2 in order to test its usability. But I come with a problem demotivating with rendering of page elements. We are a Turkish company, and when an element is filled with data that has Turkish characters in it, the element containing the character causes the dislocations nasty on neighbors points (2nd link to the image below), as well as a few problems of rendering html as tag html and code-behind occurrences (1st image link). How to get on this problem?
  Ability of translation in the apex is not a solution, I think. Because we cannot translate each unique data from our tables db that are used to complete things like a LOV.
  I need a solution as soon as possible and how can I still help to articulate my problem?

  FYI: We cannot spend in apex 4.0, because we cannot upgrade an up-and-running v10.02.01 oracle db without knowing its consequences. It would be a terrible amount of time and effort.

• Satellite L30-115 - broken TFT screen

  HY!

  Question:
  The l30-115 lcd screen broke.

  Details:
  -laptop was not abandoned.
  -L' darkness is uniform.
  -Everything turns good, meaning, you can see the loading of the OS in the background.
  -Works fine on the external monitor (FN + F5)

  Already tried:
  -Replace the connectors.
  -Tested the ups with another exhibition (14.1 "another brand) - result: the backlight fine firred_up.
  -Tried an other inverter (exact model), same result.

  My conclusions:
  -The backlight of the screen is broken. Should change.

  Problem:
  I don't have a backlight for the same exact model to display. I find order in my region.

  Question:
  Find similar backlight (toshiba tecra 8200 14 in.) for 10 euros. Can I use in my model?
  I also read that the backlight switch may be stuck. I couldn't find it on this model. Should I use a magnetic sensor?

  Any help is be apreciated

  Well, you can order all the compatible parts of the ASP from Toshiba in your country.
  But the new part of the display is expensive

  Well, the L30 was equipped with 14.1 TFT WXGA display.
  I think that the 14 could be too small for the L30. But this is only my assumption

  I have a L20 Pro Sam last week and it worked very well. Now when I turn on the screen is very very dark. About, I can do on the Windows logo when it loads, but I can't seem to make it bright again. When I plug in an external monitor it doesn't have this effect on the external monitor - some help please!

  I agree with Tom, I would also say that there is something wrong with the Fl inverter or with the tube FL. well, is the only way to solve the problem is to replace the broken parts. In this case, you will need to contact Toshiba service in your country.

  I recently had some problems with my L675-10T overheating, even when I was with a big fan of cooling for the games.

  I realized that the problem resulted from blocked exhaust and dust and it is why, after reading and watching the many tutorials, I opened my laptop computer successfully and all cleaned up.

  The temperature dropped to 20 c and I was happy.

  The next night, however, took my laptop and headed for the living room, and it will stop.
  Black screen and nothing passed. So I ran to the internet and found this solution, it worked btw.

  1. turn off your computer
  2. unplug all wires (including energy)
  3. disconnect the battery from the bottom of the computer.
  4 re - connect the power cable. (the battery should not be in the computer)
  5. turn power on. The screen works. Choose start windows normally. (if you get this screen)

  The thing is, the same thing happened to me this morning as well.
  Twice in 2 days and im a little worried I did something wrong during Assembly of the laptop or something. Any ideas? Or do I keep accountant with the above solution?
  Looks like a mess of power upwards of sorts.

  I assume that this question has not happened before you have disassembled the laptop. Right?
  To be honest this similar issue happened to me to. The portable light not (black screen) after I'm entered in the mode 'sleep'. However, this happened only once

  It s hard to tell why this happened to you it of not impossible that you have damaged something for disassembled the procedure.

  However, the fact is that the warranty is not valid more because you opened the laptop. That is why any approach (especially parts replacement) to solve this problem would cost money.
  So ultimately it s your decision: a technician visit to downtown to see the pieces of equipment or keep your stay with the workaround mentioned above.

  hope someone can point me in the right direction. I just bought a re-conditioned by Satellite Pro L300 Model PSLB1E of Dabs.com.
  He worked for about 20 minutes and then I got a blue screen error (I think that I just tried to open Windows Media Player when this happened).
  Sorry, but I didn't note down the error however seem to recall he mentioned win30.dll?

  Now, when I turn on the laptop I can hear things fan etc but there is no display on the screen.
  I don't know what to do and I have no warranty documentation.
  Suggestions this is appreciated please.

  Are you able to start, any bootable disks, Win XP, Win Vista, Linux live CD, etc.

  Please check this!

  But if you will not be able to boot from these disks, then you must contact the ASP (authorized service provider) in your country, because this problem looks a little more hardware related problem.

• Satellite Pro A100 with Modem USB internet connection problems

  Hi all

  I'm looking for some help with a problem. I am struggling to solve. I have a Satellite Pro A100 and sometimes use it with a speedtouch 330 what ASDL USB connected modem, but whenever I use this at some point that I seem to lose connectivity, the Explorer does not display the pages and other applications stop working, even if I do not seem physically the connection loose. It is often the only to get back on the net to restart and start over.

  The modem doesn't seem to be the problem as it works very well with my desktop and the laptop works very well when it is connected through wireless and idea and solution would be greatly appreciated.

• Satellite L35 (US) with Atheros AR5005G wireless connection problems

  I have a Toshiba L35 (Windows Media Center Operating System) with the software WiFi Atheros AR5005G. This machine was purchased in the United States.

  While in the United States the Wi - FI connection to a router (Linksys) using Windows to configure was instant without any problem.

  I am now in England and when I try to connect to a Modem/Router (3 com), use Windows to configure, connection is spasmodic with what makes a connection on every five attempts. Several times I have to use the repair connection device trying to connect. When it connects the connection is good. When you use the repair it shows unable to renew your IP address if it connects. On other occasions, I use the network connection Panel and 'disable' then 'activate' then most guarantees a connection.

  The laptop provides instant connection when you use a card PCMCIA WiFi with Windows to configure. While the card is inserted the s computer WiFi connect instant however when the card is removed and the computer restarted the same problems occur for a computer, free WiFi!

  Other laptops have no problems to connect to my Modem/Router. I am convinced that it is working properly.

  All regional/language settings in the control panel have been updated with the United Kingdom.

  No undates are available for the Atheros Driver or BIOS.

  Anyone can help identify the problem/possible settings to change?

  Satellite L35 is a portable American designed for the American market. BIOS and drivers should be downloaded from the Toshiba site we and not on Toshiba Europe site.

  I see that you have the Atheros card. The Atheros also provide an Atheros WLan client utility. Try to use instead of the clean Windows configuration.

  Yesterday I installed the XP system and everything works fine. After installation I can't press FN with the volume I want to say, some with works of function FN buttons, but some of them don't work. Only those function don't switch (FN + volume) volume of work and increase the volume level up/down(FN+ up/down arrow)

  Someone know how to fix/repair it?

  Satellite L40-139 belongs to the * PSL40E * series.
  Where did you find the Toshiba XP drivers for this laptop series?

  To my knowledge at THIS time the XP drivers are not released on the Toshiba driver page and so I guess that a driver missing XP or is not compatible BIOS might be the reason for you question.

  I think you have to wait until all drivers XP and BIOS XP will be available for you series!

  No previous action held to cause this problem, as far as I am aware!

  Since this problem which manifests, I have updated all the drivers etc. such as recommended by the techcenter Web site.

  PROBLEM:

  The display screen has 4 or 5 horizontal lines at the top covering about 4 mm and the rest of the screen seems to be made up of thin horizontal lines, like the old television sets, used to have. In small print. (i.e. under the icons) are difficult to read; looks a bit like Hebrew writing!

  Sorry to hear that you run on this issue. You can try the following workaround?

  1. close the Muse

  2 rename the folders named tk1 and tk2 in the following locations

  • On Windows: %appdata%\AdobeMuse\Local store. You can type this in the path bar at the top of the Windows Explorer window
  • On Mac: ~/Library/Preferences/AdobeMuse/Local store. You can type in the dialog box go to the folder (shift-command-G)

  3. launch Muse and add the police

  You can check if the two have the same monitors cable connections, which I am sure they do. Thing to do is to spend autour and know if it will work. But the differences between the m40 and m40x are not many, and the screens should work even switched around.

  We received 5 x computers laptops Satellite Pro U400-11V, are excellent, with one exception:

  When you start (it happens on all of them) with a screen VGA monitor plugged in, a high beep is played from what looks like the speaker system. It occurs just before the first splash screen windows.

  Once the windows login screen is displayed a monitor can be connected to any problem & works very well.

  What can I check? I have had a look but do not find all the tracks so far, where this post.

  Perhaps you are meaning that the beep POST (Power on self test)?

  The laptop still sounds if the POST has been successfully passed.

  Parts of the motherboard will be verified during POST, and if everything is ok, a beep is displayed.

  If something would be a mistake, the laptop will not start and different beeps would appear.
