Tungsten E2 - not recognizing SD card?

OK - I'm sure that I made a stupid mistake... but I tried everything I can think of.

My husband got a new E2 today and I'm trying to set up for him.  Went to Best Buy and bought a SD card 2 GB of Kingston for the expansion slot (so that it can listen to MP3, etc.).  I double and triple checked to make sure that the card is correctly, etc., but the E2 also said that there is no card.  I even tried a soft reset.  Any suggestions?

Thank you!

Alas, the E2 cannot read a map larger than 1 GB...

You can buy a driver written by the user called 'Power SDHC' If you wish.  It will provide the E2 with the ability to read larger maps, or you can simply return the card for a 1 GB version.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones BB Pearl not recognizing Media Card

I have a Kingston 2 GB MicroSD card installed in my BB.  He works very well for the past month (since I have the phone) and has 4 or 5 images and 5 another 6 ringtones stored on it.  Earlier this week, I had been hanging the phone to the computer with the USB cable and it would ask me if I wanted to access the media.  I would say no and continue on from there.  Then Wednesday, all of a sudden the BB began to no longer recognize the card.  Today, I went into the settings and they are:

Map of media Support - on

    Encryption mode - no

Mass Storage Mode Support - on

Auto enable mass storage Mode when connected - invites

A memory card is not currently inserted in the device.

I take the media card and plug in the computer and it is still showing all the files there.  When I plug the phone to the computer, it is not recognized by the computer.

    Any suggestions?

  • Series RS-232/485 isolated 2-port not recognized PCI card

I have a series RS-232/485 isolated 2-port PCI on my computer. I installed the card, then the software but my computer never acknowledged that there is a card in the PCI slot.  Because this card is old, I also tried to install older versions of the software serial but it did not help.  I have a Windows 7 computer x32bit and other PCI cards have been installed into the same slot before this one, so I know the works of slot.  The map was built well before Windows 7 and I don't know if they are compatible.  I was wondering if there is no way to force the computer to recognize the hardware or if there is a way to check to see if the card still works.

    Thank you

I finally got to work. What I did expect a system start let me access the SD drive. He did this once from time to time in unknown conditions. The laptop came with Vista home edition. I decided to upgrade to the Enterprise edition and all of the upgrade went well except for the disply drivers, which is in fact the most important issue for me and the reason why I bought this laptop in particular.
I tried several drivers Toshiba Web site display, nVidia and a few independent, but they all failed to install that application installation claims pilot that there's no nVidia display adapter in my laptop.

I also upgraded the BIOS to ver 1.80 hoping he might make a diferrence, but no luck.
I have been the net cruisng and googoling my life away for the last week trying to find a solution.
    Any help?

I put t really see big differences between the edition of Vista family and business edition and I m 100% sure Vista home edition and Enterprise edition must be able to use the same graphics driver.
The graphics driver who worked on the Home edition also works business Edition!

I think that you have chosen just a bad or incompatible graphics driver.

If you are sure that your graphics driver is a right please install the display driver from the Device Manager to 100%.
Then choose the install from a list or a specific location called option, and you select don't search. I will choose the driver to install

  • Portege R500 - Bluetooth PC card mouse not recognized

I am trying to use a mouse with my R500 bluetooth PC card, but it is not recognized when I insert it in the PCMCIA slot.

The light. I need to change any settings?

    Hello

Usually, the PCMCIA card should be recognized directly after that it was inserted in the slot.
There is no special driver for the PCMCIA. It s a BIOS according to the function.

What you could do is to change the device configuration option in the BIOS.
I think that it s on the second page in the BIOS.
It s set configuration by OS. I recommend that you change this.

  • WiFi not recognized on Tecra A3 card

    Hello
I have a laptop old enough, I think that on registration to this site he said the production date was end of 2005. It is a Tecra A3 series.
I was wondering if someone could give me some tips for the inside wireless card.

I tried to download the drivers for the wireless card that says that the Web from Toshiba site, but installing the driver just tells me plug-in card, when it is already.
I took out the card and its reference number is: PA3362U 1MPC.
Its not even come in windows XP Device Manager.

EDIT: Sorry just a few details, it was working at one point. But I had to reformat, since reinstalling windows. I read that it is possible that "the map is not enabled", but it is not recognized in Device Manager?

So far I have not conscientious, but I recently upgraded my wireless broadband connection and I would like to be able to use the wireless card.
Anyone could offer me some tips on how to get it operational?

Thanks for your time in reading.
    Andy.

    Hello

If your wireless network card is properly inserted, then it should appear in the NICs as unknown device under Device Manager (if the driver has not been installed) or must be properly recognized as Intel PRO/Wireless 2200 b/G Wlan card.

Yes, PA3362U 1MPC part number seems to belong to the * Intel PRO/Wireless 2200 b / G * Wlan card. I have goggled a bit and found some info that could confirm it.

So, you should definitely use an Intel Wlan driver for this card to work.

  • Used the update and now the video card is not recognized

I updated updater manual update and have not updated anything since early December, 01/30/10 I installed the 5 important updates that were listed, I don't remember who they were, after installing the computer needed to restart and after the recovery, the video card is no longer recognized.  I get the BIOS beep code for no video card or bad video memory.  I know that this seems to be a hardware problem, but this computer worked fine until these updates. Now that the video card is not recognized, I can't even get into the BIOS, and still less actually starting windows. Any help/ideas what caused this and how can I fix this are greatly appreciated, thank you very much. Even a list of the latest important updates might be useful, I can't seem to find a list of anywhere.

    System-Vista Home Premium 64-bit
Palit-card nVidia GeForce 9600 GT graphics card

Oh and I took out that graphic card and put in a different one, nVidia PNY GeForce 7900 GS and always get the same error code. I also disconnected and removed the battery from the motherboard to reset the BIOS, still the same problem.

    Hi JohnyDick,

This problem seems to be due to the updates of Windows, although it could be a coincidence.
I first you recommend to remove the nVIDIA graphic card and connect the monitor to the onboard graphics card, then try to start the computer.

If the problem persists then I recommend you to contact the computer manufacturer for assistance.

    I hope this helps.

    Hi, BAVAJI

    Dear user

As other cards of memory running on your mobile phone, check that the same accept new 64 GB cards, which are the SDXC (Extended Capacity). See if the phone has this logo, or in the manual.
Don't forget that the 4 GB to 32 GB are SDHC (high capacity).

Assuming that your cell phone, if the SDXC logo, then we will:

1- please, first of all, clean the pins on the card with isopropyl alcohol (or common). Then see if it works.

2- if not, we continue: place SDXC card in a laptop (or more), directly to its port, with a good adapter (NOT a card reader, an eye).

3- make the backup content, then save it somewhere else.

4- in the map icon, click on by the right button of the mouse, then use / properties / tools / error checking.

    Chance.

    Sincerely, Alfred.        (Google translation).
