• File missing on Tungsten E SD card

  Stupidly, I managed to delete the folder "My playlist" from the SD card.

  Where abouts on the map makes it go? I tried to put it with the music of the slopes in RN_AUDIO & also just on the map, but the Palm cannot be found either.

  I deleted the music card & then reinstalled 'Real player '.

  It appears now, notes to self, "do not delete" in the future.

  What is the largest size of SD card I can use in the Tungsten E2? Must be a palm card or can all factory card work?

  The maximum card for your device size is 1 GB. You can use any card that is compatible SD. Some of the brands that many people use is a Kingston or Sandisk.

• How to unlock a new extension for my Tungsten E2 SD card?

  I just bought a new SD card and when I try to download pictures or music I get a message "this card is read-only, you must unlock.  I can't find instructions for doing this.  Any ideas?

  In addition, the map should not be higher than 1 GB to work with an E2.

  Hi @ all! I have a Tungsten E2 and an e/s of Wifi-card Sandisk SD Wlan (SDWSDB000). Did someone knows if it is possible to use this map or is still incompatible with the E2? Next problem will be the drivers - Sandisk itself is paid to them. Somehow, I feel that the original Palm-Wifi-card only works... Glad all the answers! Greetz from Germany - Susanne

• 'No card inserted' new Tungsten E2

  This is the first week I got my new E2, and found out that it will not recognize a Dane-Elec SD card of 1 G. What now?

  Yesterday, I replaced the G Dane-Elec 1 with a Kingston 1 G card, and voila, it works! Finally! 1 gig cards are starting to get scared, so pisck a couple of them if you find them!

  Anyone know why my Dane-elec 1 GB sd memory card does not work on my e2 tunsgten? I tried soft and hard reset but the palm still does not recognize the card. The power lights when the Palm is off if I insert the card, but it is said that there is no card inserted. What should I do? Does it matter what brand sd card I use? Please let me know. Thank you

  I figured out. It was really bad cards I had. They were tag 1 GB, but both were in fact of 2 GB, which does not work on a tungsten e2. A Kingston 1 GB and they work fine.

• Tungsten T3 with WiFi PalmOne & Email card

  I recently bought the PalmOne wireless card for my T3.  I managed to connect to my home network is a Linksys WRT54G, which has been connected to the internet.  Now, I'm trying to manage my e-mail account with the T3.  It is programmed to the e-mail of the T3 via the cradle sync and works very well.  I unchecked that hand and think I put everything.  However, I get the following message: "ERR [AUTH] invalid user/password.

  The first question is; Can email sent from the T3 with a WiFi card?  If so, what Miss me.  Thanks in advance.  Frans

• problems with my Tungsten E2 Palm reading is not my memory card more

  I have a Palm Tungsten E2 and I now have problems with him reading the memory cards and I don't understand why because it was very good.  I didn't give up, nothing happened.

   

  I have a 1 GB memory card that I use.  It's a SD Impact memory card

   

  When I insert card it makes no noise and if I try to format the card it says No card inserted.

   

  I also tried a new card, it's a 2 GB Sandisk card (did not know at the time that it would use only a 1 GB card).

   

   

  Hope that was enough information for you help out me.

  My only other suggestion right now would be to try another 1gig or smaller card to determine if the card is at fault.

  I had 100% success with SanDisk cards.

• Tungsten E2 - not recognizing SD card?

  OK - I'm sure that I made a stupid mistake... but I tried everything I can think of.

  My husband got a new E2 today and I'm trying to set up for him.  Went to Best Buy and bought a SD card 2 GB of Kingston for the expansion slot (so that it can listen to MP3, etc.).  I double and triple checked to make sure that the card is correctly, etc., but the E2 also said that there is no card.  I even tried a soft reset.  Any suggestions?

  Alas, the E2 cannot read a map larger than 1 GB...

  You can buy a driver written by the user called 'Power SDHC' If you wish.  It will provide the E2 with the ability to read larger maps, or you can simply return the card for a 1 GB version.

  I have a Tungsten T I had for many years. The background light no longer lights. Other then that, it seems to work correctly. Any idea on how to solve this problem?

  Fixed background light problem. I didn't know that the on-off button turns on the light and off when for two seconds. Must have inadvertently it down and turn it off.

• Tungsten E2 hangs up on the calendar during the hot sync.

  I have a Tungsten E2 with Palm OS Garnet 5.4.7. Suddenly, he started hanging up during hotsync. He always tries to synchronize the calendar when it crashes.

  I lost the original PC software and impossible to reinstall cd. I tried to remove the software and installation of Palmdesktopwin62, but it has not fixed the problem.

  All the information on my Tuingsten is intact. Is anyway to get the Info off the coast of the Palm other than with the software of origin. Really, I can't lose my calendar data because it has my class schedule 6 whole months following thereon.

  Two suggestions:

  If you use not just any backup on the device software, download "NVBackup" and install it.  You can turn off the duct of the calendar by opening the HotSync Manager and changing the conduct of calendar ' doing nothing '.  As long as you do not check the box "Set as default", there will be a HotSync without trying to synchronize your calendar.

  Make a full backup of your device to a regular with NVBackup, errors 1 GB SD card and everything.

  Now go to Pimlicosoftware.com and download and install "DBFixit.  Run the program and let it search for corruption in your Calendar database.  It can correct errors free of charge, but more serious may require the purchase of a registration code (proceeds go to habitat of gorillas).

  There are a lot of messages in this Forum to people who have successfully used this program!

• Tungsten e2/lack-sync: freeze when you try to synchronize

  Hello

  I use a tungsten e2, synchronization with the missing 6.0.4 sync on a mac 10.5.4 (German). I synchronize via the cradle.

  When I try to sync the e2 freezes while the "synchronization" message appears. Black-White-flashing bar appears on the tungsten-screen (maybe 2px height). the only solution is to soft reset.

  I tried the hard reset, removed the sd card and checked the cable connections - nothing.

  is it possible to solve this problem or should I assume that the tungsten material is broken?

  This forum but found no solution.

  I did not check it with another program, but I found the solution now, I think:

  When I synchronize without the cradle (i.e. directly by plugging the cable in the pda,) it seems to work. Strange, isn't?
