Turn off power scrub/balance/defrag view emails in ReadyOS 6

Each week, I do a scrub, balance & defrag on all our ReadyNAS devices.

For each of them, I get 2 letters: started and finished/failed.

Since we have little devices, I get about 20 emails in the weekend.

I want to disable the notification emails and do want the mails from the failure.

How can I do this?

I forwarded your feature request.

    Hello

Zoom (an accessibility function) has been activated on your watch.

    • To turn off the Zoom:
      • On your iPhone, in the application of the watch, go to: My Watch (tab) > general > accessibility > Zoom - put it off.
      • Or on your watch, go to: homescreen (via a simple press on the digital Crown) > (cog icon) settings > general > accessibility > Zoom - tap and enable / disable.
    • If the accessibility shortcut has been enabled and configured for the Zoom, you can also enable and disable functionality more conveniently:
      • On your watch: quickly press the digital Crown (the round button) three times.
    • To set up accessibility shortcuts:
      • On your iPhone, in the application of the watch, go to: Watch My > general > accessibility > accessibility shortcut (bottom) > select / deselect Zoom.
  • Turn off power error message

I have an Officejet4620 printer all in one that ad hoc stop printing and displays the message "turn power off, t. It turns off the power button and the only solution is to unplug it and plug it back again. At this point, he said to me "to avoid damage use the close button. Do not use a wall or the band to close switch '!

It solves the problem, but appreciate any advice on what I can do to prevent it in the first place.

    Hi xiota,

    Welcome to the HP forums!

I see that you are having a problem with your Officejet 4620 advise there need to be in the off position you will only do so by pulling on the power cord to the rear. I'm sorry to hear that, but I'll certainly do my best to help

There are certainly a few things that I will propose, but first of all, I'm just curious as to what you mean by "what adhoc stop printing... » ? The printer is connected to the computer via an ad-hoc connection?

First of all, I would recommend you connect the printer directly to a wall jack to make sure it is getting the right amount of power. If it is already plugged into a wall or that doesn't seem to change anything, please make sure that your printer is the latest Firmware and updates. If the printer is not connected to your wireless network, please install the firmware on your computer with this HP Officejet Firmware link.

I would like to know how these steps are for you!

  • Turn off Power Edge 840

Hi, I am now the proud owner of a Power Edge 840, but I can't figure out how to turn off without unplugging completely. Even if I disable IPMI, the power supply is always running and draining ~ 10W. Any ideas?

There is no way to 'kill' the active POWER supply... it maintains the minimum power so that the system can be monitored and accessible even if 'disabled '.  New servers are much more effective with this level of power, but still do the same thing.

You have three things going on on the 9500 in portrait mode... Automatic insertion of predictive text and SureType.

For AutoText, you just delete all entries. I don't know how to enable and disable.

Predictive text - go to Options > language > input Options > predictive and uncheck. Similarly, there you can disable spell variants.

  • Satellite L20: Can I disconnect devices such as USB mouse without turning off the power?

    Hi all.
I am owner of laptop Satellite L20. I always turned off power to my computer when I need to connect or disconnect a USB device. Some devices have a special icon on the toolbar disconnect them, but some don't (FDD USB or flash drives). Can I disconnect and connect devices such as mouse USB or Scanner wihtout turning off the power?

    Hello

You can disconnect the external USB devices without turning off the unit, but you must use the option "remove hardware" before you cut the material.
The icon "Remove hardware" usually appears with resources such as hard drives or USB key have the ability to buffer data. It of necessary for this buffer to the device before emptying it is disconnected

  • How can I turn off the monitor (e.g., "standby") via the command line at the push of a button (or any other shortcut need not additional software)?

    Hello

I don't like it when, after a break from work on my PC, the screen turns off as set up through "Power Options" in the control panel. That's why I put the relatively high threshold.
However, when I know that I will not need the computer for a while, I want to save energy and wish the mode "sleep" could be activated immediately. Turn off the screen is not an option, because it has a USB hub built-in - off completely would be to unplug any connected device. Usually, if the computer has always works and might need the resources connected.

Ideally, by pressing a button (or start a program or something), the screen would immediately go in mode 'sleep'.

On systems prior to Vista and 7, IIRC, running a command in the sense of:
    Rundll32.exe user32.dll, SendMessage (HWND_BROADCAST, WM_SYSCOMMAND, SC_MONITORPOWER, 2);
would do the trick. The dll should run the command to set the monitor to sleep. We could create a shortcut or even integrate the command in a batch file, but unfortunately it doesn't seem to work on Vista or 7.

Does anyone have an idea on how to do it on Windows 7?

I would strongly try to avoid having to install any additional software to help me. (There is quite a little all about, even free applications that promise to do exactly that, but I want to avoid them if possible.) "And I can't believe that this basic that could be done on XP cannot act more on 7!).

    Thank you for your help,
    NicApicella

    Hello

Sleep is one thing and switching Off the Display is quite another.

I found a way to turn off the screen in case you don't have a hardware switch or a keyboard shortcut as in my Dell Inspiron laptop (Windows 7).

Create a batch with the following script file:

    echo off

    C:\Windows\System32\powercfg.exe-changer - monitor-timeout-dc 1
    C:\Windows\System32\powercfg.exe-changer - monitor-timeout-ac 1

    START/min/Wait C:\Windows\System32\scrnsave.scr s

    C:\Windows\System32\powercfg.exe-changer - monitor-timeout-dc m1
    C:\Windows\System32\powercfg.exe-changer - monitor-timeout-ac m2

with the idle time to turn off your screen set in the Control Panel, replace m1 and m2.

Control Panel > Power Options > any 'Active' diet Plan > change Plan settings > disable the display setting (minutes).

    For example, in my computer laptop m1 = m2 = 30 and 10.

Now create a shortcut to the batch file and optionally assign a keyboard shortcut and an icon.

    Explanation of the script:

The first two commands sets the idle time Display Off for the minimum possible setting of 1 Minute for the AC and DC (battery) power. The third command put the system mode blank screen saver 'instantly' and / Wait for the screensaver to terminate application. After 1 minute of inactivity, the monitor turns off power completely.
The Saver screen/Wait is over by the event of the reactivation of a movement of the mouse button, the last two lines of code will come back the idle time-out settings of origin defined in the Panel view. This to ensure that after waking up, the display does not Turn off all 1 minute of inactivity expire.

    Kind regards

  • Turn off - turn off

Hello I have a new time Capsule I'm ok to turn off power? As there is no power button or process.

Apple has created a time Capsule to be ' always on '.  If you unplug the time Capsule, then it will lose its network connection and be forced to create again when he is on the way to the top. This may happen not always correctly.

In addition, if you happen unplug the time Capsule when it made a backup from Mac, the entire backup file can be corrupted in the process.

I think that you will have a more reliable operation of time Capsule if you use it the way it was designed... and leave it straight... but it's your call.

  • UPS: turn off at Mac Pro every night

I just bought a new power supply (UPS) uninterrupted and it comes with the option to transform the every night to save energy (after I stop the desk top Mac Pro).

I searched the internet and Apple support communities and apparently there is no big advantage or disadvantage to stop the Mac Pro every night.  It does not harm the desk top, it allows to save some energy, and it makes it safe from hackers while I'm asleep.

I can't find anything that tells me if there is a problem with completely set turned off power every night well.  Anyone know of any reason not to use "SHUT DOWN" and then turn off the UPS?  I guess the only difference it makes to the desk top Mac Pro is that it uses a battery to keep the current date and time.

An overview of everything that will keep my Mac Pro (mid 2010) humming is greatly appreciated.

It uses the battery to keep the current date and time.

... and to remember some system settings that must be available at the beginning of the start-up procedure, such as "where is the boot drive.

If your Mac does not start, the battery is a Lithium long term non-powered cells of room behind the graphics card slot. It should measure about 3 Volts in your hand to be useful. BR2032 is what apple installed, CR2032 will work in a pinch. They are used in the door openers garage and car-door-keys.
