Two processors listed in device of my Satellite A200-1MD Manager

Is of my Satellite A200-1MD, on the device, manager by clicking on the processors opens two processors (for my two processors).
One is "Intel (R) Core (TM) 2 CPU T5300 @ 1.73 GHz
the other is "Intel (R) Core (TM) 2 CPU T7200 @ 2.00 GHz

IS IT NORMAL TO HAVE TWO PROCESSORS WITH DIFFERENT SPEEDS!

Is there a problem with my driver software or what? Keeping in mind that when I click SYSTEM in Control Panel it shows me that the processor is T5300 1.73 GHz 1.73 GHz.

I need to know if there is a problem with my laptop, because I think that she was not working fast enough.

Yes, it seems this is a common problem of Vista.
At first my laptop L30 CPU is recognized as two different processors with different speeds.
You must remove the CPU of the Device Manager and have to restart the laptop.

After reboot new and new CPU Device Manager installation displays the correct speed ;)

Best regards and don t forget to assign ;) reward points

Happy new year dude

  • Don't know how to get down Satellite A200-1MD to WXP

I bought the Satellite A200-1MD 3 months ago and I want to downgrade Windows Vista to Windows XP, I have not yet tried, but I need help with the downgrade, can anyone help?...

    Thanks in advance.

    Hello

Don t you need a lot. Download the drivers for your machine by clicking [HERE | http://eu.computers.toshiba-europe.com/cgi-bin/ToshibaCSG/download_drivers_bios.jsp] choose your machine (model number is PSAE0E) and registration of all the drivers available on your machine. Then I suggest you to burn all the drivers on a CD to get to your hands after installation.

It could happen that your hard drive is not recognized during installation. It comes from the lack of drivers SATA (Serial ATA) on the Windows XP CD. This can be solved trough the "F6Floppy" or 'slipstreamed Windows XP CD' solutions. Sorry I would now not explain the WHOLE process how do this because this problem/issue was discussed, about 1,000,000 times here in the forum.
I guess you already saw the text box 'Research Forum tips' above. Take these words I gave you above (F6Floppy + CD XP Slipstream) and type here or in google.com.
You will find many useful documents.

Otherwise there is no special thing, you need to take care off. (Plus I Don t know what I could tell you about your installation of XP on your beautiful machine path ;)))

That's all, good luck and good weekend...

How can I get my Realtek - his return?

    > there is no XP driver available, which makes the work of "pci device".
The lack of "PCI device" could be everything! The Toshiba driver page provides all the important and necessary drivers for all the devices available on the Satellite A200-17O

On the Toshiba page, you will find the driver installation instructions. Please follow these steps!
In addition you must update Windows Xp to the last State before you continue installing the Toshiba XP drivers.
At least make sure that Microsoft has been installed the KB835221 hotfix.

    _Do this: _
    1. download Microsoft's KB835221 hotfix
    2. Remove "Audio device on High Definition Audio Bus"
    3. install KB835221

  • Satellite A200-1MD - Flash memory card does not

Whenever I start the laptop black screen appears with the hanger with message * Flash card (not answer). * After some time it goes without saying. The date of installation/upgrades of this software is on March 7, 2007.

    Please guide.

    Hey,.

Hmm... It seems that the problem is related to Toshiba Flash Cards as they appear if you press a FN key... In other words, they control the function FN key.

You should check the site Web of Toshiba. You can find this tool then you should try to reinstall. So delete the current version, restart the computer and install the latest version of the Flash Cards Support utility.

  • Satellite A200-211 - toshiba common module for Win7

    Hello

If I understand the common module from toshiba and toshiba logical device added value are the same. and I tried to google the two of them to download for my Satellite A200-211, which works on windows 7 ultimate 64-bit, but I CAN'T find at all.

Do any help to get it? Thank you

    Hello

    > toshiba value-added peripheral logic and toshiba common module is the same

No, the common modules are designed only for Win XP and this software is used by other tools and software from Toshiba, so in many cases the common Modules must be installed in order to get other software treatments of Toshiba by using Win XP OS.

The VAP (value added package) is available for Windows 7 and Vista.
It controls the FN keys and multimedia, buttons and adds an extension of Toshiba to Win 7 power management.

If you are using Win 7, then you must install VAP.
Check the VAP Win 7 64 bit which is released for other series laptop Toshiba L500, A660, or new models of laptops

    Hello

As I understand your problem, your notebook screen remains black and not wake mode hibernation or standby.

Well, buddy, I think I have good news for you the OS reinstallation is not necessary (as I m wrong completely ;)).

I see you are using the old BIOS.
So to my knowledge the BIOS update should help you resolve this annoying problem.

  • Satellite A200 - 10W PSAECE - BIOS need for Vista 64-bit

    Hello

I'm having problems trying to update my BIOS under Vista 64-bit of the system. The plashnt.sys driver generates an error when loading.
On the update of the BIOS page I can't find no 64-bit BIOS update for my laptop Satellite A200-10W (PSAECE). Also I've seen most of the computers portable ETA is updates of BIOS of 2009 and my update to the newest BIOS comes from 2007 (version 1.80 for Windows Vista)!

The reason why I'm trying to update my BIOS:
I have recently installed 4 GB of RAM on my laptop, the screen of the BIOS reports 4 GB but during POST, there are only 3! Vista reports also only 3 GB of physical memory total. I ran a series of landmarks and notes I got using 4 GB are well below the marks using only 2.
Memory modules have been tested on another laptop and none of these problems has occurred (another laptop of the manufacturer).

So I really need a sollution to update my BIOS and prefferably a BIOS update of 2009 available for download.

On the other hand, I was looking for specifications of my laptop on the Toshiba site and I couldn't find my model on the current models, or models discotinued page. In 2007, when I bought the laptop, it was listed as new on the current page of models, so I expect at least to see it in the abandoned list.

    Thank you for your time!

    > 1. Why there is no updated BIOS newer than that of 2007 and
There is no update of the most recent BIOS as Toshiba didn t release new updates.
Why? Who knows maybe a new update is not necessary.

    > . Why my laptop is not listed in the discontinuous model (Satellite a200 - 10w psaece)
Why should it be included as a discontinued model? The A200 series is not very old... so I n t think that this series could be abandoned

  • Satellite L300-19Y - wireless LAN is not in the list of devices

Hi I need to throw this one out there incase I throw my pc a bridge...

I have a Toshiba Satellite L300-19Y which recently gubbed the HD, so I replaced and am trying to install XP SP3.

However, even with what i belive to be the correct drivers I can't seem to access my wireless LAN.
I installed most of the pilots involved, and have access to the Internet via the NIC with a connecting cable.
It was a struggle to get even, even if I really need a wireless...

At the moment the wireless device does not appear in the list of devices, although I can see my network card.
I have some thoughts on how to activate the wireless, I tried to install the driver manually wireless but didn't get any wherever I get a code 10 XP Shutdown response.

I've updated the BIOS, I have the latest drivers 8187b, I installed the kernel, the chipset, the display and audio drivers... etc.
I installed a new copy of XP but you have not installed all the drivers until I know that the correct procedure...

    Any ideas would be appreciated...

    Arghh!

    Andy

    Hello

You should try to activate the WLAN using the hardware on the laptop switch (must be defined on and with the combination of keys FN + F8.
    Did you do that?

In addition, you can get all the drivers for your laptop on the Toshiba site:
    http://EU.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com-online decision-making supported Downloads & => Download drivers

I assume that you have installed your laptop with a disc of Microsoft, so you should try it with the Toshiba recovery disc. It contains an image of the settings from the factory with all the drivers and tools. After that, everything should work fine on your laptop.

    Check it!

    This is quite normal.

The following image shows the PC that I use as a PC ACPI x 86 two processors. The two processors (Cores) are on a single chip which is the Intel Core 2 duo processor.

    Hello..

    (1) if it is possible to reduce the video memory through the bios?

No use of chipset intel grafics vary on request 8 MB - 224

    (2) can we install any os on S10 - 2 through its card reader internal memory (for the particular operating system Starter memory card)? or I have to use a flash drive? You can use almost all the 32-Bit operating system... A vast Distris Linux, Windows XP/Vista/Windows 7... I prefer via flashthumbdrive...

    (3) and a practical question to my knowledge, how many hours in a day I can keep my S10-2 on battery or plugged? If you want to use the machine, most of the time connected...

  • Satellite L550 - 11K - Manager of devices displays wrong CPU

I bought the Satellite L550 - 11K myself and stan because he has a 2.53 GHz p8700 processor. However, Device Manager, it is 2 times a T4200 processor at 2 GHz!

    Hey,.

I had the same problem that the processor in my desktop t wasn't listed properly so I removed the CPU since the Device Manager (right click > uninstall) and reboot the laptop. You must remove the two entries.
After the restart of the central unit will be recognized again and this time it should appear correctly. For me it worked. :)

Another question, you use the pre-installed operating system, or you have installed another OS?
