  I got this laptop Satellite A200-1 s 5 and it works wonderful, that I have no problem. I just have a question. while I was searching for stuff about it, like the impressions and comments, I came across a forum and a person with the same notebook observed something strange. Although it has a t5250 1.5 Ghz c2d, if you check in Device Manager the second core shows as a t7300 2 GHz.

  It seems that it is a common problem with Vista.
  At first my laptop A100 CPU is recognized as two different processors with different speeds.
  You must remove the CPU of the Device Manager and have to restart the laptop.

  It runs an Intel Core processor i3 - 3120M which is a Mobile i-3 processor...

  This is what is considered to be an i-3 of the 3rd generation... If that helps all...

  It has two nuclei... essentially 2 CPU on a single chip.

  Hyper-thread, as each of the two nuclei of the acts as 2 hearts in certain circumstances... This simulates a total of four hearts, 4 processors on a single chip.

  There are factors much more than just the processor. Personally I prefer i5 i7, but some users have same i3. Captivate is greedy memory, RAM is important as well. It is also heavy on the graphics, if possible get a dedicated graphics card (NVidia works well with other Adobe applications). If your budget allows, please have an SSD for applications at least, it starts quickly. Last question: you used to have open several applications at the same time? I have always Photoshop and open with Captivate (sometimes also Illustrator) Audition

  The processor is listed in a manual for Compaq 56 series as a spare under a part number. It has listed a transformer assimilated into a manual of this series Compaq 62 - AMD Champlain V160 processor (2.4 GHz 512 MB L2 cache, 1066 MHz) - single 25 W pn: 636634-001. Both processors are reported as compatible in the Compaq 56 series manual so I think that the CPU is a spare part and can be upgraded. See this Compaq 62 series Manual:

  The T9500 is quite a compatible processor clocked at 2.6 ghz with a L2 cache 6 meg. It would be a huge update of a T7100.

  This isn't a job easy 10 minutes. The dv6500 series is very difficult to work on laptops go and if it's your first adventure upgraded the laptop I encourage you to find someone who has experience. The series AMD version is snakebit with problems, but the Intel versions (like yours) are good portable computers.

  I'm about to upgrade the processor on a Dell T100, which has installed on hypervisor ESXi5.  There are also 2 Windows VMs.   I wondered what would happen to the virtual machines, once the host processor is upgraded.   Do I need to remove the vCPUs and also to re-install VMtools or the upgrade would not affect virtual machines?

  You should not need modify the virtual machine settings, unless you have configured the CPU affinity or your new processors have fewer cores required by the virtual machine. However, as the model/type of processor is seen by the virtual machine, the virtual machines Windows may require reactivation.

  Hi, I have a cluster HA 3 node with 3 servers esx 3.0.1 running. I have a new 4th server which is esx 3.5 and I want to use as a member of the existing HA cluster. I was told that I can use a 3.5 server in a HA cluster that uses esx 3.0.1

  I added the 4th node successfully to the HA by using Virtual Center Server cluster. When I try to vmotion an existing to the new node virtual computer, I get an error message relating to the processor type. The error message indicates that:

  "host processor type is incompatible with the requirements of the virtual machines to the CPUID level."

  How will I know if the new 4th node has a type of processor that should work in a HA environment with my 3 existing nodes?

  I was told that I could run an esx 3.5 in a 3.0.1 cluster HA (I'll upgrade all three 3.0.1 nodes in January).

  We said that the processors could be dofferent in a HA cluster but must be of the same type. The processors in the server are:

  PowerEdge 2950 intel xeon e5335 2.00 ghz (esx 3.01)

  PowerEdge r710 intel xeon e5504 2.00 ghz (esx 3.5)

  I want to confirm that these servers must work together using vMotion in a HA cluster?

• Miscrosoft Word on Mac - it's never works well, with complex documents? If so, optimal CPU, RAM speed, etc. ?

  I've been using Microsoft Word for Mac (2011) for a while (on a Macbook Pro, 2010, OSX 10.11.5) and sometimes encounter problems with this gel, especially when doing a wide track changes on a document. I don't know if this has to do with the limitations inherent in Word (I talked to PC users who have exactly the same problem with Word), my computer is not enough of fantasy to run this software at a reasonable speed (speed of the CPU? RAM?), or that my computer's hard drive is toast (recent diagnosis of a 'genius' of Apple). Or maybe all three.

  Whatever it is, I need a new computer, and one that will be able to manage the work on complex Word documents (sometimes more than one at a time) using full tracking capabilities - the software changes, without crashing or slowing down to the speed of the turtle. My questions:

  1. does MS Word work inherently less well on Mac than on PC, esp. When you make the stuff of fantasy as heavy track changes? (I wouldn't go PC, but as a professional editor, I have to put the right word running as my number one priority)

  2 if there is hope for Word on Mac, what are the optimal system specifications? Microsoft said minimum RAM for Word for Mac 2016 is 4 GB. If that's the minimum, should I get more than that? 6, 8, etc. ? Furthermore, what about the speed and type of processor? (Assuming that the computer is used mainly for daily use of work: simultaneous web browsing, e-mail, editing a Word document or both.) No game, video or streaming music)

  For example, it would be crazy to expect MS Word for Mac to run smoothly on a Macbook Air with these specs:

  Processor: 1.6 GHz dual-core Intel Core i5 (Turbo Boost up to 2.7 GHz) with 3 MB cache shared N3

  Memory: 4 GB on-board memory 1600 MHz LPDDR3

  Storage: 256 GB of flash PCIe storage

  General impressions nor special knowledge, you can share would be much appreciated!

• Tecra 8100 - no sound except in mic!

  I have a Tecra 8100 Windows XP.

  I can't get sound on the speakers or the headphones emitted by the computer, such as beeps, CD, etc. But if I have to reactivate the microphone, I can hear through the headset, ensure that the microphone picks up (there are a few comments without microphones, proving that the speakers work physically). All volume controls are the maximum and reactivated. All devices are enabled and correctly selected in sound control panels.
