Type of toolbar installs?

I can't say if I'm going crazy, but my habit is to move the mouse to the top left to change details of fonts and characters. Is it possible that half of the toolbar has exchanged with the other half? I can't restore. Help?movedtoolbar.jpg

    Basically, the .deskthemepack extension is not recognized by Windows 7 because it is introduced in Windows 8. The new "panoramic" desktop themes all use this format.

  • The Skype toolbar installation.

    I didn't get a useful answer until now. Windows XP Service Pack 3 version 5.1. I used to own and use Skype without problem for a couple of months.  Last week it stopped abruptly with still photography and the cursor is not only not able to move anywhere.  I restarted the computer.  Tried to uninstall because I lost all the contacts from the contact list and add didn't work like the other side we couldn't see it as 'connected' even though he showed us that green us.  Uninstall Skype toolbar was not done at all as he showed "problem with this windows installer package.  Required to complete the installation script could not be run.  Fatal error occurred during installation "."  The same message comes when I tried again and again to install Skype and tool bar, the message appears as the bar installation tool starts, stopping at half way through.  Skype name is nrravi920.  Skype has been downloaded successfully in another computer at another location in the same State with the same name for another two days before this incident.

    2. do you have security software installed on the computer?

    3. are you able to install other programs on the computer?

    This error occurs if there is a problem with the Windows Installer on the computer.

    Method 1

    Download and install the latest version of the package Windows install on the computer and check if it works.

    Method 2

    Check and make sure that the Windows service install is running on the computer.

    (a) click Start, click run , and then type services.msc in the dialog box and then press enter to open Services.

    (c) if the box Startup type is set to Disabled, change it to Manual.

    (d) click on OK to close the Properties window.

    (e) right click on the Windows Installer service and then click Start. The service should start without errors.

    (f) click on the file menu, and then click exit.

     

    Method 3

    If the previous step fails then re enter the engine of Windows install and check if it helps.

    (a) click Start, click run and then type cmd in the dialog box, and then click command prompt.

    (b) at the command prompt, type the following and press ENTER after each line:

    MSIExec /Unregister

    MSIExec/regserver

    (c) try to install again.

    I think that when you install XP and turn on the first time, Microsoft collects information from your system during this process to develop a signature of material that goes with your license and store it away.  Of course, they do not collect any personal information :)

    They do it so that if someone takes your XP installation license and tries to apply it to another computer (it is piracy) that the installation would not activate as your activation must match your hardware.

    If someone tried to install and activate your license on another machine with a different set of hardware, MS would say, wait a minute - this license has already been activated on another machine, and he could complain.  Then someone has some ' splaing to do.

    I suspect that in your facilities in 2nd and 3rd, MS takes a look at things and said... this material signature and the license already go hand in hand, that nothing has changed here, so it is not necessary to activate again, all right.

    This is why, if one day you need to replace your motherboard and reinstall XP, even if you have everything and it's all legitimate, you will probably have to reactivate again since the signing of material would be completely different for this license that MS remembers the first activation.  A few small hardware changes, that you can get away with, but if the number of points collected to compensate for the signing during the initial activation is too different, you will need help activating.

  • Why the new Nectar search toolbar installs in Firefox 25?

    I used the Nectar with Firefox search bar because it was introduced without any problem at all. Nectar have recently introduced a new search toolbar to replace the previous version, and although I re-installed 3 times on my PC, Firefox (Windows XP Pro) will not pick it up or to recognize.
    I checked with the Nectar, and it is not their problem, especially since the new toolbar works perfectly on my PC even if I use Internet Explorer!
    Nectar assure me of their toolbar IS compatible with Firefox 25.0.1 which is what I use.

    It now exposes a new (unwanted) behaviour. He repeatedly asked the nectar card number, but no longer displays the number of points accumulated (or said to enter the search term). Sometimes he apologizes that it cannot save the Nectar card at the present time, but whatever it is, it seems not possible to get all the points at all at the moment.

    BTW, I got a response, but it was just for the effect that they they were sorry that I was having a problem and to address the issue.

    I need to open/save the MP3 files with hearing. apparently I forgot to tick the box concerned during the part of the configuration of the hearing file type association. is it possible to subsequently add .mp3 to a list of types of files related to the hearing?

    I checked - in trying to get around via right click on an mp3 file--> open with... and then look up audition.exe it just goes back to the list of programs to choose but hearing is not the

    also, I can do drag & drop mp3 files in audition and work on/with them, but can not save in .mp3. It's a little strange behavior, because I do not see why I can work with the files but cannot really open them with hearing or save them from the inside of the hearing. I hope that I don't have to reinstall it, any thoughts on this?

  • Installation of direct Type only

    I know Live Type was not distributed in FCP 7, but I am running FCP 7 on an iImac Intel end 2012 Mavericks.

    I want to install Live Type of my installation for FCP 6 discs.

    I had it installed on the same iMac in Yosemite, but I discovered that Motion will not work in Yosemite, so I wiped the HD and installed the Mavericks. FCP 7 installed and everything works well, but I would like to install Live Type in FCP 6 because I use that for some quick projects.

    When I try to install it, I get the message...

    "Cannot open the application"FinalCutStudio.mpkg"because the PowerPC applications are no longer supported."

    It is explicit, but my question/problem is I ran the same installer on the same iMac but the OS installed at the time was Yosemite. It is installed without any problem.

    Then why this installer will work in Yosemite but not Mavericks?

    Because Rosetta has been dropped in the Mavericks, Rosetta is the key for Power PC stuff running on hardware/OS later.

    Note that the problem is apparently that Rosetta, the Installer asks, but the software can run.

    There are workarounds to work around this problem, either the search on the forum here or use Google.

    There is a cult of people with various schemes to make this installation, but have never done me may not personally verify that it works, but

    report people that it does.
