U2412M stuck in black screen

I have a renovated U2412M that I had for about 10 days, which worked perfectly until last night.  My laptop fell asleep, and now the monitor does not display a picture. The power light is blue and the screen menus you won't either. This happens even if not connected to anything. When it is connected to my laptop, the laptop thinks that the monitor is connected, but there again, no image. I tried multiple connections, but my normal connection is DP.  Any thoughts?

  • iPhone 7 more stuck on black screen with the spinning wheel

How can I fix it? I tried to reset, go into DFU mode, recover from iTunes. Nothing works. I can't use iTunes because he wants me to grant access from my iPhone is not responding. DFU mode doesn't work, the screen does not any combination of seconds I hold down the buttons to. This has happened more than an hour. Should I just wait for the battery to die? Please note that I do not live in the United States or the U.K. or anywhere with an Apple Store, I can take it to.

    Thank you

Hello! I think that I may have a solution to our problem of the black screen with the circle of rotation.

I came across this post today because my iPhone all nine 7 (which I've upgraded to the latest ios) also got stuck on a black screen with the circle of rotation. I tried to update some of my apps, when suddenly the screen froze. I clicked once on the home button and the screen become black with the subsequent appearance of the circle of rotation.

I have tried everything - simultaneously press the home button and power (does not work). connected to itunes to do a restore (it won't let me not because my "find my iPhone" was turned on - but I could not turn off because my phone was insensitive).

In any case, a very useful Mr. Damon (Senior Advisor to Apple) helped me via chat to solve the problem.

    Here's what I did:

    1. make sure that your iPhone is disconnected from the socket or the computer.

    2. hold the POWER button and the VOLUME DOWN button at the same TIME. If it works, the screen should turn off almost immediately.

    3. connect your iPhone to the computer. (when I have connected to the computer, my iPhone automatically on and was ready to be reused).

The steps below are for those whose iPhones did not turn with the above steps. The following steps are designed to allow you to disable remote your 'find my iPhone', so you can do a manual restore from iTunes.

    4. go to www.icloud.com.

    5. click on Find iPhone

    6. given that the phone is turned off already, he won't be able to find it. On the top bar, click DEVICES.

    7. click on your iPhone.

    8. click on "delete account".

    9. go into your itunes and do a restore.

I did have to do steps 4 to 9 more, because as I said, my iPhone automatically activated after step 3.

This really worked for me. I hope this works for everyone else too! Have a great day!

    Dear supporters,

    Model: Satellite L775D-10W
    Operating system: Win7 64 bit
Problem: The procedure start STRP stuck after "Windows load data" and a progress undertitled with 'Microsoft Corporation' bar, resulting a black screen and a mobile mouse cursor.

The same problem occurs every time...
pressing F8 > options (safe vaissaille mode) > start gets stuck
Boot from DVD of Win7 64 bit > startup gets stuck
Boot from DVD of Win7 64 bit > options > start gets stuck

It is likely that the graphics card is broken or that the driver no longer appropriate?

Thank you for your time in advance!

    Greetings

    Carpet

Graphics card problem may be possible but in this case the POST (power on self test) would not be passed, and in my opinion, it is not possible to access the BIOS.

    However, it's just a theory
Try to start Notepad using some Live CD like Linux

I would also recommend to start the advanced boot menu. (by pressing F8) and choose repair my computer option.
    Then select Toshiba HDD recovery

This option would be to recover the laptop back to factory settings.

  • The Windows Setup program does not open. Stuck with black screen.

    Hi all

I'm trying to install windows 7 from an iso file using Bootcamp assistant, Version 6.0.1 but unfortunately just windows installer does not open so I'm stuck with this black screen. I left my sit MacBookPro autour with this black screen during more than half an hour and after awhile, it gets really hot so I interrupted the "process."

I have reset the NVRAM (command + alt + p + r) which did nothing.

I followed the instructions of bootcamp. I downloaded the correct drivers for my model of mac pro book, I created a bootable and partitioned my drive.

The forum has a lot of "black screen problems" but none of their solutions worked for me.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Thank you

    1. leave BCA creates the installer from USB, but not to partition your drive.

    2. download the correct drivers to install Windows 7 and previous versions on your Mac with Boot Camp - Apple Support and replace $WinPEDriver$, AutoUnattend.xml, and the entire folder on the drive flash USB2 Bootcamp.

    3. run BCA, connect the USB cable and click only the Windows Installer and test if the Setup program starts.

"Waited for the iOS 9.2, hoping that it will fix the bug. Finally iOS 9.2 has been launched. Happy to download it thinking that it is the answer to the question of the camera. Thank you in advance.

Try resetting your device. This will not erase your data stored on that device.

    • Press and hold the sleep/wake button
    • Press and hold the Home button
    • Press and hold both buttons until the display turns off and on again with the Apple logo on the subject.

Alternatively, you can go to settings - general - reset - Reset all settings

If that doesn't work, restore your device to factory settings. Please note that this will delete the data on your device.

Take a look this Apple Support article: use iTunes to restore the iPhone, iPad or iPod to factory settings - Apple Support.

As a final step, try recovery mode. Turn off your unit, then plug it to your computer with the hold home button. Hold down Home button until you see the logo of iTunes on the screen of your device. After that on your computer, you should see the iTunes window saying that your device needs to be restored to factory settings. Click Restore.

  • Windows 8 stuck in black screen after "making auto repairs.

I had my HP laptop for five months. A few days ago that I opened the lid of my portable computer and it loaded and said "Configure automatic updates" at this stage, it was frozen. I held the power button down to do a hard restart. I turn it back on and it wouldn't start. I did a system refresh, defragment HDD, ran CCleaner and started in safe mode. At this point, the hard turned 100% use no matter what I did. I couldn't find a solution I did a system reset. He reset the whole PC and reinstalled Windows 8.  It got stuck in the facility to a black screen with just my mouse. I turned it off. Now when I turn on my laptop the screen goes black for about 15 seconds, then HP appears with "Automatic repair of preparation" below logo. It does this for about 20 seconds then the screen goes black. I left my computer for about 7 hours and the screen was always return. I do not have windows 8 CD or USB key. What can I do? Nobody here was willing to help with this problem, although there are a lot of Windows 8 users who have this. At this point, I am considering buying a Mac that I can't do it in the face of Windows 8. If someone could help me it would be apprciated. Thank you.

I tried several repairs. I did a disk check by pressing F2 during the launch, and he said that the hard drive has failed. I contacted HP support and they are sending me a box to put my laptop in which I will return. So they will be replacing as there is somehow guaranteed on this subject. If someone experiences this problem, it is probably a hard disk crash. Good luck

One of the problems causing my crashes Crysis DX10 was a bad stick of RAM. I had to test each stick individually with MEMTEST86.
The first time all the sticks passed but after continuing crashes, I retested and found a bad stick. Another thing I noticed was that many accidents have occurred when my clumsy fingers were depressing too many keys at the same time. Crysis has a lot of problems even with the newest and the best material of today but still lots of fun when it works.
  • After trying to downgrade to XP, press a key, the system gets stuck on black screen

Hi, I am currently using windows 7 when I try to setup windows xp he see press any key. After that Windows inspects your hardware configuration. After this black screen will come. How to solve this problem?

There are two obstacles with your question.

first of all, what you try to do, is "downgrade" your system - inadverdently.   This ability is not in the setup / installation protocols.  You can upgrade or replace the OS.

Second, if your current computer is running win7, then it is highly unlikely that xp will not have engineering and pilots to operate your advanced machine.  Remember xp is designed to run on "now" older machines.

to take, for example, that you want to uninstall win7 and replace it with xp.  Then, you will have to place of origin of the machine and download drivers xp for machine.  If none is available, xp is unable to operate the machine.

However, there is a scenario for xp under win7.  This will require you to virtualize xp by installing the virtual pc to microsoft program.  then installing xp in virtual pc.  and for the most part, you can install and run most xp programs in the environment to virtualize xp.

but remember that a pc virtualization has its limits.   one example relates to the graphics.

a virtualize xp has not the power graphic to run fantasy games and most accomplished will scanner virtualize xp for graphics capabilities and interrupt the installation.

also, you cannot install xp drivers for hardware in a virtualized xp in an attempt to circumvent or replace hardware drivers your machine win7.

    HTH.

  • Computer now put in hibernation, Vista will not boot. Computer stuck on black screen after startup. Help?

I put my computer on 'Hibernate' when I went to bed. When I woke up, I started the computer learned to manufacturer (HP) computer screen introduction as usual, but windows doesn't not load afterwards, as he usually does: I just get a black screen. Lights supply and all the rest are on. Just nothing happens. Any ideas?

Can I use the firmware from HP (I guess that's what it is) to confirm that my memory and hard drive are very good. I tried Googling the problem, and some signs indicate a problem with the powercfg parameter. I can't get in cmd.exe to reset because I can't get into windows (although through HP firmware, I can enter in "Administrator: X:\windows\system32\cmd.exe - cmd", which seems the same, but the orders that I see offered on websites do not seem to work - help?). Ditto with Safe Mode. I don't have Vista installation disc.

    Any help is very appreciated.

    Hello

You need to contact HP and install recovery disks command to perform a repair.

  • Computer stuck on black screen

    Hello

Last week after hibernating my computer (Windows Vista), reported an error during startup, saying that a file has been corrupted (sorry, I don't know what particular file - something to do with the information of hibernation) and there was a mistake in the restoration of hibernation. At this point my keyboard does not respond at all, not being able to press return to select options on the black screen (or respond at all to the caps lock or any other key), so I restarted the computer in an attempt to circumvent this.

But now now I just get another similar error on the last attempt to resume the failure of the system. It gives two options - "Continue with system summary" or "Delete restoration data and proceed to system boot menu" - but always my keyboard does not respond. It seems not to respond on this menu; While the computer worked the keyboard was very good, and it also works on the BIOS and the menus of configuration before it gives this error (although I have not played around with these menus, just in case). I also tried to connect 2 other keyboards is not this keyboard in particular.

PS I remember correctly, I do not think that the keyboard has never worked in any other similar black screen of menus (such as the ability to start in Safe Mode, although this menu contains a selection automatically after 30 seconds)

    Any help would be appreciated.
