U2414H, DP cannot see Bios screen

I read a lot of posts on the U2414H and the problems with DP. I have a unique question to add. I have two monitors U2414H, NOT chained. The two are connected with full DP DP full of my quadro FX1800 to the monitors themselves. When I turn on my PC, monitors remain in power saving mode until appears the windows login screen. After this point, they work no problem whatsoever. Could be worse, but I can't access the bios at all with these monitors. If I hit the key to the bios, the PC will get into the bios, but my screen is simply stay in energy saving, so I'm stuck until I reboot manually. Has anyone else had this issue or know how to fix? CHANGE > Yes, I did the factory reset in the settings of the monitor. I also tried the solution proposed for monitors of the Garland with registry changes, even if my monitors are not chained. No effect.

To display the bios, you will need to connect to the FX1800 via its DVI port.

  • Laptop computer connection directly to a projector and cannot see the screen of my laptop

I'm trying to figure out how to display the screen of my laptop via a projector and also be able to see the screen of my laptop.  When I hit the function key for display on the big screen, my laptop darkens.  I found a post on this forum on the connection of additional views or projector (Set Up Multiple displays). When I go to Mobile PC and display to choose settings listed in the answer (mirrored, extended, etc.) aren't there.  My laptop is running Vista Business Service Pack 2 and two weeks.  Thanks for any help you can provide.

    Hello Shawn,

Thanks for posting on the Community Forums of Microsoft Vista.

It should probably be shortened on your laptop keyboard to turn on the visible screen (for example Fn + F5). Try these until you can see the image on the laptop monitor.

Also, follow the steps and try to set the screen parameter as follows:

    (1) right click on the desktop, click Properties, and on the display settings, choose monitor as your main graphics card 1.

    (2) setup that monitor the as a 2nd external display (projector).

    (3) click on apply and Ok.

Restart the computer to see if you are able to see the screen on laptop and projector.

You can also check with the computer manufacturer to check if they have additional parameters to be changed.

    It will be useful.

    Thank you and best regards,

    Hello
I'm new to the forum and have a big problem. So, any help is welcome and appreciated.

My Satellite Pro A200 turns black after the BIOS screen and a black screen with a blinking cursor. Also just as the screen goes black a beep can be heard which shows windows boot.
I can access the toshiba Setup screen but not the installation of security mode.

    Kind regards

    Hello

You wrote that you can access the BIOS, but have you checked if the HARD drive is recognized properly? Perhaps because the computer cannot start HDD isn't recognized then you should check this.

If the HARD drive is recognized, I would try a Toshiba Recovery disk recovery facility. It seems that Windows isn't able to start and if you reinstall the whole system should help get rid me of this. Go to the start menu and select the CD/DVD drive as a boot device.

    Check this box!

  • Computer Vista gets to the BIOS screen, then restarts continually.

It's on a Dell Inspiron desktop PC. I was browsing youtube, when I noticed when I clicked on something, he did not. Although the outlines of the buttons flashed as soon as I waved above them. If I clicked on a bookmark, it says that my internet connection is bad. But I was watching youtube, 3 minutes earlier.
I close firefox, then go to the office. I CAN'T RIGHT CLICK! OR LEFT CLICK. On some points, I can click.  And some I can't. I unplug the computer from the wall. Rinse power. Wait 5 minutes. Restarts. Computer gets to the Dell BIOS screen. Will beep once, makes a sound of flickering, light flashes orange and repeats the process forever. I press F12 for the boot menu. Press enter on the SATA hard drive. And it starts fine. But I want to solve this problem, help!

  • Windows 7 cannot see is not my SCSI disks when I try to install. As the IDE drive is showen but is not usable.

Windows 7 cannot see is not my SCSI disks when I try to install. As the IDE drive is showen but is not usable. Is there a FDISK program that can be run to solve this problem from a command promt?

    Hello

You try to access BIOS and change the SCSI to IDE in the BIOS or Raid in IDE and try to install Windows 7.

If it fails, contact your SCSI manufacturer for the latest drivers for your SCSI and install it by clicking on load drivers and try to install Windows 7.

    Hope this helps and works.
