  Hello.  I recently got a new computer with Windows 7.  I also have one with XP Pro.  My Logitech Comfort USB headset works great with my XP computer, but the microphone on my headset does not work with my computer of W7.  The headphones work fine, I can hear loud and clear.  There is no problems appearing in Device Manager.  Windows installed all the drivers when I plugged it in, it recognizes my helmet and said that it works correctly.  I ran the function of problem solving and it's supposed to be working very well.  Plug into my XP computer and it works fine.

  I tried several 'solutions' Troubleshooting over the few days without result, including the verification of all the sound levels (all 100%), ensuring that drivers is common (they are), to tweak the settings sound in various ways, (possibly reset to defaults), making sure Windows is up to date, blah blah blah.  The Compatibility Center Windows says that my helmet is compatible with W7.

  I looked everywhere and, with the exception of when someone has their Mute microphone or set low volumes, there doesn't seem to be a response to this problem, but there are a lot of people who have this and not only with Logitech headsets.

  Logitech forums say that it is a Microsoft problem, W7 has a compatibility problem.  I don't know what else to do to get my microphone to work.

  I would really appreciate any suggestions beyond the ones I've tried.   Thanks in advance.

  The headphones came with the installation software? If so, install the software on the Windows 7 computer. If this does not resolve the problem, visit the Windows 7 Compatibility Center to make sure that the headset is compatible with Windows 7.

  I have recently upgraded to windows 7 to 10 on a single computer, purchased another and the 3rd was Windows 10 all year that we had.  I have a LaserJet CP1025nw which worked fine until the last few weeks.  The new computer, it is not recognized to install, one that was just upgraded, it is still listed, but it's not working and the laptop which was windows 10, it is printed in the last month, now, without modification, only an update of windows, the printer disappeared and will not re - install.  Attach the USB cord is not working and I checked on the HP site, for more than 5 hours looking for a solution, and even if it is supposed to be updated drivers to download, when I download them, the file for the 1025 installs the drivers for the 1020.  Nothing works and I'm at my wits end.  The printer is not that old, and I have several refills that I would use because I do not use the printer much at all.  Tips for good drivers would be very much appreciated.

(EXE) and still not get the Toolbox software to access the scanner.  Is there a solution for this or am I just unlucky?

  Please make sure that a certain folder path is in your path environment variable.

  Let us determine the correct path to add to the Path environment variable.  Look in C:\Windows\twain_32 and it should be another folder in there.  For example, the name of the folder must be CNQ4803.

  This is the way that is needed to be added to the path environment variable.

  C:\Windows\twain_32\CNQ4803

  Now, follow these instructions to get the dialog box change the path environment variable.

  a. Control Panel > system > then choose advanced system settings in the left column.

  (b) this will bring up the System Properties dialog box (it should already be in the Advanced tab).

  c. at the bottom of this dialog box is a button environment variables .  By clicking on this button to display the environment variables dialog box.

  d. in the bottom panel, scroll until you find the variable named path.  Select it and then press the Edit button to bring up the dialog to Edit of system variables.

  e. in the Variable value text box, scroll all the way to the right, and then add the C:\Windows\twain_32\CNQ4803 path that was determined earlier.  Be sure to separate this value by a preceding semicolon.  And also be ensure not to make further changes to this value.

  Now click OK and check if it works.

  Since I've upgraded to Windows 10, which was two days ago, I was unable to use Photoshop. InDesign and Illustrator work very well, but ended second after the loading of the Photoshop screen and the main screen, Photoshop crashes. I have to use the Task Manager to close the program.   Make sure that you have installed Windows 10 display device drivers.  I have after I've upgraded to windows I had to install the new drivers of display devices for my poster works correctly with Windows 10. AMD/ATI, Nvidia and Intel all provided of new device drivers for their products for Windows 10.  The upgrade of Windows 10 has also broken my homegroup on my network, I had to use a hammer to destroy the old Homegroup and then create a new one.
