UCCX and cuic v10.5.1

My question is this,

When you install uccx 10.5.1 that it comes with an instance CUIC living what is optimal, but you cannot modify reports which is a bit annoying.

If would be to install a stand-alone version of the cuic this be the first node or is the Co cuic on UCCX resident regarded as the master and the autonomous regarded as secondary.

TIA

Hello everyone, I'm looking to upgrade CUCM 10.5 to 11.5 and try to find out if the version of Mediasense, UCCX and highway are supported and to confirm with the experts that I am mistaken.

Currently I have the following text:

    CUCM/CUC - 10.5

    UCCX - 10.6.1

    MediaSense - 11.0.1

    Highway - 8.5.1

So based on the documentation below if I go to CUCM 11.5 UCCX must be upgraded to version 11 and highway be upgraded to 8.8? MediaSense is ok here its version 11?

  • Version 8.5 UCCX and JTAPI

    Hello

We run UCCX 8.5 and I was wondering if anyone knew a way to know what vertion of jtapi is currently circulating on the UCCX Server?

Also if you install on a single server jtapi in a HA envirement also must you install on your second server?

    Thank you

    Alexis

    blog.NetPacket.co.uk

UCCX'll crumble the jar the configured CUCM JTAPI automatically; You can also take this file via the url https://cucmip/plugins/jtapi.jar.

Once you have the jtapi.jar you can query version manually via CiscoJtapiVersion, make sure that the jar of jtapi is in your class path:

    java -classpath .:"/Volumes/Macintosh Data/Downloads/jtapi.jar" CiscoJtapiVersion

    Cisco JTAPI version 8.6(2.10000)-10 Release

For reference, the above came to a CUCM with version 8.6.2.22900 - 9

If this is not enough, you can always pull down the newspapers MIVR via the RTMT which will be the version. Maybe do a little digging however.

In an HA pair scenario, as before UCCX will automatically collapse the CUCM JTAPI. No manual intervention may be required.

    Full UCCX newb here.

Analyst contact centre for a service of assistance-support for the internal operations of the 90 seats.

UCCX 8.5 Premium with the Communication Manager

I am a contact center analyst in the conversion process our assistance service of an Avaya ACD to 8.5 UCCX Cisco as part of a company-wide VOIP conversion. We are about two weeks of commissioning with UCCX reproducing our current capabilities of Avaya and functionality. At this point, I started trying to find ways to improve operational efficiency and productivity with UCCX in the form of post-conversion changes and introduction of features.

We use the module BMC Remedy Action Request System 7.6 incident as our ticketing system.

My question for the experts, with 8.5 UCCX and CAD is possible to create a CSQ non-telephone in queue Incidents our cure to our agents? The aim is to offer tickets in queue to our agents and ultimately be able to track and report on efficiency measures combined. My thought is that this feature should be similar to the functionality of email agent, we cannot benefit from the reason of incompatibility UCCX with our Lotus Domino messaging platform.

  • settings system such as ANI and Gwendoline

How do you pass the DNIS and ANI values UCCX enforcement?  To route by DNIS, for example, you bring each DNIS via a separate CTI for routing through DNIS port or can a script to determine the Contact information?   I have tried to find a list of the parameters of the system UCCX and wait for ANI and DNIS to be one of these parameters.    These are relatively frequent requests for call routing so I expect that they exist, but I can't find them?

    Peter Buswell (aka DrVoIP)
    http://blog.drvoip.com

    Hello

Well, you have to explicitly "pass" parameters, they are there, you have to match to a local variable.

Take a look at the guides (once again, here is the link).

To answer your question, this is the step to read the Contact information, or else get it call Contact Info.

If you want "thematic track DNIS", you can map multiple DNIS in the same application or in fact map a whole range of DNIS to an application.

  • UCCX call lines expectations

Currently we run 8.0.2 UCCX and have a multi queue helpdesk.  Agents have multiple skills assigned to them.  We have a request now add a prompt to just 1 queue which will increase the priority of this call and only affect this queue.  From my understanding, raising the priority of queue will affect all other queues and give this priority call presedence over all calls queued upward rather than only those of this queue.  Is there a way I can work around this problem?  Thank you.

    Hi David

Basically you assign a priority to a call, and calsl are delivered FIFO for each priority group in descending order. So say you call Pri 5, then it will be delivered before the groups calls low-priority even if they have been in the queue longer.

It is therefore a top priority and you want to use selectively to avoid at the expense of lower priority calls.

As you say, if you have multiple queues, but all are served by the same pool of agents, this will affect all of the queues as it prevails on the map of FIFO.

The only other way to make a priority of calls is the indirect approach to allocation of competencies for the "priority queue" to more agents.

  • Third UCCX SQL access for an application

We have a customer requirement to enable read access to the database of UCCX. This account will be used to query the database UCCX and she will use as a service account for another system.

Please let me know how to create DB account on UCCX.

    UCCX version: 7.1

    UCCX database: MSDE

    Hello

Any local administrator in the box UCCX have DB rights. A simple way to do so is to:

    (1) create a new user on the server UCCX and add to the Administrators group

    (2) create a new user on the server that needs access to the DB and make sure he has the same exact username and password

    (3) make sure that the service or program running on the third server runs under the new account.

When you configure your DSN, it will servername\CRSSQL to access the instance rather than just servername.

If you need to authenticate using SQL authentication rather than Windows authentication, then you must be on SR5 (I think) and there are measures in UCCX release notes to the SQL authentication mode.

If you want to use SQL authentication or does not have full administrator rights, then you must use OSQL (a command line SQL admin Tool, tool, search microsoft for info Web site) or access the server by using a copy of SQL Ent Manager (easier).

  • Conversion of QuickTime is eating hard drive space?

So I thought I'd go through some old video files on an external drive, so when I found and tried to open them by default - open with Quicktime Player because they were .mov files. But when opening them that forced me to convert first, which took some time, but it was very good. After viewing the file, I have it closed and he could be invited to record the conversion, but I said no every time.

Dozens of video clips later, I received a warning that my hard drive is running out of space even though I was not downloading anything. Of course, I'm up to 1 GB, even if I don't know I got a lot more than this, perhaps 20, but at least 10gbs before starting. I don't know Quicktime is somehow to blame, and whenever I try to open a .mov file and it begins to convert, I actually see my free disk space down a bit like 1.35 GB GB 1.06 to 53KO to zero bytes. However, now it crashes towards the end by saying: he can't open the clip, even if the conversion is almost over, and then my disk space back to about 1.35 GB. However, on my most recent test it is simply suspended zero byte. I quit the program and am currently stuck at zero-byte and get the impossible to open again message clip.

I was able to open the same .mov files in VLC without problem. I tried to use OmniDiskSweeper to find where these ghosts files could be but nothing extraordinary appears. I can't find all the physical files that QuickTime can be created on my hard drive, unless I'm looking in the wrong places...

I'm currently under OSX Yosemite v10.10.5 and Quicktime v10.4.

If someone could help me please understand this point, I would be very happy. Thanks for reading this.

If someone could help me please understand this point, I would be very happy.

To start, I remember not where temporary files of conversion are stored by the system or if this location varies for different operating systems from the user. Basically, the problem is self-inflicted. When you refuse to save the file after the conversion, the reference of the source file ends up stored in your list of 'Récent' without for as much free disk space used to store the converted data. Try to access the data already converted via the "open the recent item" option will restart just another conversion of the same file. On the other hand, you had actually stored the converted file, you may have deleted or moved to an external drive for future use. Fortunately, if your system works like mine, there may be another way to reclaim the space for temporary storage consumed by conversions without having to know where temporary data is stored. Simply try to empty your "Récent" list by pressing the option "delete". Then watch the space window of Finder reading for a short period, while to see if the OS is recover storage space that has been allocated to the converted data. It worked for me under El Capitan, when I reset my normal 'None' setting return to the default value of '10' and ran some tests to try to reproduce your problem.

  • SceCli 1202 after the Installation of Sophos 0x4b8 error

Our company uses Sophos Endpoint Security and Control (v10) for our anti-anti-virus/personal firewall of the company. About a month ago, we pushed the Sophos Endpoint client to our two domain controllers (that are running Active Directory) - This installs only the part of the client to a server antivirus. It is Windows 2003 Server R2, Service Pack 2 servers. Once installation is complete, you must restart the server for the console policy Sophos are taken into account. Just before the restart, we started to see the SceCli error appear in the application log in Event Viewer. And now every 5 minutes, another event is added. We have installed Sophos to other Windows 2003 servers and have not seen the same question on them. Has anyone else seen elsewhere? Any suggestions on what we can do to stop these events to the application log? Are there Sophos configuration changes that must be accomplished to AC/DC servers? I asked the question of Sophos support, but so far, they have not been able to give me all the answers. Thought I'd see if anyone else had experienced. We have not done any changes to group policy... and the fact that it only happens on two servers makes me think that this is not really a problem with group policy. Thank you in advance for your help!

  • IPod Classic 7 G 160 GB ' there was a problem installing this hardware: Apple iPod USB Device ".

    I have recently (June 2014) bought a brand new Ipod Classic 7 G 160 GB Model A1238.

Whenever I connect via USB to a PC running XP SP3 and Itunes V10.0.7.2 it is always treated as if it were a new connection, i.e. "new hardware found". After trying to install it, it says so "cannot install this hardware" and "there was a problem installing this hardware: Apple iPod USB Device."
I have also a 2009 16 GB Ipod Nano 4 G model 1285 and this is recognized by the PC whenever it is connected through the USB port itself.
I connected the Ipod Classic 7 G to a laptop running Vista and Itunes V10.0.7.2 where the Ipod is recognized and installed.

Even if the PC States that there is a problem installing the Ipod, it still appears in Itunes and I can download music to it and disconnect by using safe mode disconnect.

PC XP SP3 - Ipod Classic
I watched "Device Manager" under "Drives", the Ipod Classic is listed as an "Apple Ipod USB Device", but has an exclanation score against it.

Right-click on the 'Apple Ipod USB Device' properties and the "Volumes" tab it shows the drive with the exact name and the size of the data, by clicking on the properties of "Driver" tab it says 'Unknown' driver provider, driver Date and Driver Version as being "not available". By clicking on the "Driver Details" properties, it shows a driver file-

    C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\PartMgr.sys, File Version 5.1.2600.5512 (xpsp080413-2108).

Under "Device Manager" USB controllers, there is an entry for "Apple Mobile Devices USB Driver" and a "USb Mass Storage Device"

The 'Apple Mobile Devices USB Driver' lists two drivers:
    C:\WINDOWS\System32\Drivers\usbaapl.sys and
    C:\WINDOWS\System32\usbaaplrc.sys

The "USB Mass Storage Device" list a driver:
    C:\WINDOWS\System32\Drivers\USBSTOR. SYS

PC XP SP3 - Ipod Nano

I repeated the steps above with the Ipod Nano, connected to the PC and the driver provider is presented as Microsoft with the driver as 07/01/01 Date and Version of the driver as 5.1.2535.0.
In the "Driver Details" properties, it shows TWO driver files:

    C:\WINDOWS\system32\DRIVERS\disk.sys AND meanings
    C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\PartMgr.sys.
At the same time with the Version of the file 5.1.2600.5512 (xpsp080413-2108).

The 'Apple Mobile Devices USB Driver' and "USB Mass Storage Device" are the same as for the Ipod Classic.

I followed the procedure to remove Itunes and even the update to Itunes to V11.2.2 nothing works.

I am aware that the system is also that XP can now be updated.

So, why not not Windows Installer Ipod Classic and why the disk.sys driver does not appear

According to the details of the pilot?

Is the 7 G Ipod Classic not compatible with XP SP3?

Yes it is compatible with XP SP3.

Try asking in the forums of Apple iPod:

    Hi Laurin,

Here's what I suggest you do:

Install the following updates on your computer and then try to install Microsoft Visual C++ 2015.

    (i) Update for Windows 7 for x 64-based systems (KB2999226)

(ii) Update for Universal C Runtime in Windows

Hope this information is useful. Please feel free to answer in the case where you are facing in the future other problems with Windows.

  • Finesse SSO Bypass URL

    Dear users of the forum.

I know these are the URL in order to bypass the SSO admin UCCX and ease of maintenance, but y at - it for Finesse? My customer is having some problems with Finesse and we suspect it might be THAT SSO associate who has been activated after they upgraded to 11.5 UCCX.

    • For Cisco Unified CCX Administration URL: https:///appadmin/recovery_login.htm

    • URL for Cisco Unified CCX of maintainability: https:///uccxservice/recovery_login.htm

    Thank you, Tim.

Tim, it's not a URL of derivation for the Finesse you for the Administration of the CCX. The only option in the case of SSO does not will be to turn it off and let the agents login and authenticate either against CM or LDAP where CM is integrated with AD.
