  I recently installed CS5 Master Suite on a Windows XP-32 and was able to create pages ASP Javascript that can connect to and update a Microsoft Access 2003 database.  But given that some applications of the necessary suite of 64-bit operating system, I wiped the machine and installed Windows 7 64-bit.

  I managed to get it set up so that I can connect to the database if I create a new page ASP with VBScript, but if I create a new page with Javascript, the ability to add a new connection in the data pane is dimmed, despite all the items listed under being checked.

  I guess that the DSN is configured correctly, because VBScript pages work.  I installed IIS7 on the machine with the 32-bit application pool enabled so that the server can connect with the 32-bit ODBC driver.

  Tips on how to get the database connection works in Javascript pages would be greatly appreciated!

  I was under the impression of support Adobe dropped for ASP/Javascript in CS5.  You say it worked in 32 bit?

  That is right. The new version of the Guide extensibility should be somewhere online now, or should be available soon. That describes the feature that allows you to put the cards on the home page. Unfortunately, it won't really focus on what you want to do. All that is allowed through this feature is pie charts, histograms and graphs for time series.

  The best solution is probably to create a report with the information that you want, save appears in the homepage of the target instance reports sub-tab.

  This problem is caused by physical limitations in DL (Double Layer) media. These limitations prevent any real use multisession. When the media is ejected, the disc session may be closed for DVD-ROM compatibility. On these discs, DVD-ROM compatibility is achieved only when the disc is complete. When the disc is finished, it is closed forever. The physical characteristics of the media require two layers will be burned so that the disc can be played in a DVD player. The two layers can be burned only by closing the disc. As soon as the disc is closed, no additional data can be added to him.

  I do not have any network, the new hard drive external or installed new updates that might affect things.

  I seek your help for a small problem that I can't spend during my internship.

  Here's what I want to do: I acquire signals that I write a .wav file. What I would do then is to reopen this .wav file and add data in the header, such as the sensitivity of the microphone for example. I am doing this is because it's one of our program of works, it can resume the pressure vs time signal using this information. I already have the hex code I need to add, but I was not able to determine if such a thing is possible or not after a day of research ideas would be greatly appreciated.   To insert data into the middle of a file, you will need to rewrite the entire file after that point, as Gerd said in the linked post.  I would do the following:

  1. Search for the location you want to put your new piece
  2. Read 65 000 bytes from forward and store in a local cache (shift registers work well for this, or just a wire at this point).
  3. Write your new piece, taking note of how long it is
  4. Give your data buffered less the length of your new song
  5. Read a 65 000 other bytes and put it in a new buffer
  6. Write the end of the old buffer and a part of the new buffer until you get to 65 000 bytes
  7. Repeat 4 to 6 until you reach the end of the file
  8. Update the offsets in the header to match the new locations of piece, since you have moved things

  You can probably do it with both data pads in a pair of registers at offset in a loop.  The 65 000 bytes is chosen for best performance.  You can use other sizes, but your speed can suffer.  Let us know if you encounter any problems.

  Follow these steps and check:

  To take ownership of a folder

  a. click on the USB key you want to learnand then click on Properties.

  b. click on the Security tab, click Advanced and then click on the tab owner.

  c. click on change. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

  d. click on the name of the person you want to give to the property.

  e. If you want that person to be the owner of the files and subfolders in this folder, select the owner of subcontainers and objects replace check.

  You don't say how you try to do.

  You can right click on the data you want to copy to the USB > hover the mouse on send in the list > in the Sub Menu that appears choose the USB by clicking left on it and the data must be copied to it.

  It is also to select the data you want to copy > press Ctrl + C > click in pen drive > press Ctrl + V

  Another method is to drag and drop the data from one drive to another.
