Hi, Jeff.

You can select a range inside a clip with your clip in the timeline, placing your cursor on it and hold the 'r' key when you drag your cursor over the clip while pressing your mouse or track pad. The range will be described in a yellow box.

To select a range of multiple clips, select the first clip, and then select the last element while holding down the SHIFT key.

Unexpectedly, the themes do not appear in iMovie 10.1.2. They used to show.

The "theme Chooser" is grayed out in the menu of the window. My iMovie is up-to-date.

Any hint of back issues?

Sorry, I don't understand how you get the columns ind and cnt. I can guess what you want for ind, but I can't do it even for NTC. Are you sure that the results you've posted are really what you want from the data you've posted?

Unable to choose the language

I'm located in the Canada, and I have an android device, which has a selection of the language of the 'English' it doesn't tell US or British or Canadian also. I completed the process of selection of the language on my phone from scratch and downloaded Firefox Mobile for androids. Here's the problem: installed the U.S. English version and this is unacceptable. Is it possible to manually install another version of English?

Unable to choose the resolution 2560 x 1440 with ATI Radeon HD 6570

product: HP Pavilion p7-1030be

OS: windows 7-64 bit

I installed the latest drivers from AMD and the latest driver from the Dell monitor.

This HP desktop computer includes an ATI Radeon HD 6570 with 2 GB graphics card. AMD and HP specifications list a maximum resolution of 2560 x 1600.

I connected a Dell U2711 monitor using a DVI Dual-Link cable. Native resolution of the display is 2560 x 1440. Monitor seems to be recognized by Windows (in Device Manager).

I can't select the correct resolution in the windows settings. Mentioned maximum resolution is 1920 x 1080.

When I list the modes in the advanced settings, 2560 x 1440 is not available either (I disabled the 'show only the modes supported by the monitor' thing).

What's wrong?

Hi all

HP support contacted me (their initiative!) and confirmed there is a problem with the type of graphics, ATI RADEON card such that it does not support the high resolution of the DELL U2711.

They send me a NVIDIA card as a replacement. It should work according to them, I've already found myself :-)

Kudos to HP for really committing to solve the problem.

Unable to choose the default printer

Original title: System do not select the default printer.

I just added HP Officejet Pro 8620, but does not do by default. My HP Pro 400 is still my printer by default, but every time I print, the 8620 appears as the default even if not selected by default and I need to change it to use the default printer, so that both printers are working properly, my system does not recognize the default printer as the default printer. Unable to choose the host when you deploy a virtual machine template

Good Morning-
I feel that the answer to this is with myself; However, I would ask - I try to deploy a virtual machine model for test purposes and I want the virtual machine must be created on a specific host. When I start the Wizard "deploy the virtual machine of model", I am only able to select the cluster and not a specific host. Is it possible for me to be able to select the host to which the virtual machine will be deployed without disabling DRS?

What happens if you right click on the host that you want to deploy on the virtual machine to and select deploy from model - but don't forget if you have a DRS activated with anything other that Manuel DRS will select the host on which the virtual machine starts on and it would not be that you deply to--

The eyedropper tool is unable to choose the correct colors.

Hello, I am facing a strange problem with the eyedropper tool.
The background is a gradient mesh (ignore the cross). I used the eyedropper tool (shift-click/normal-click both gave the same result) on the bottom and he gave me a strange result. As you can see, the background is blue - to-black gradation, but the color scheme is green-ish of nowhere.
How can I solve this?

It is only a problem with gradients as a gradient is an algorithm (formula) where all the colors are only those that are defined with the steps of color on the gradient tool (Control Panel). Intermediate colors are generated on the fly in the color space of the final output, which in this case is the color RGB (profile) of your monitor space. As a work around for what you can develop the gradient of steps or same rasterize is going to happen in the colorspace of the document and this will make all the color values actually described one by one in the illustrator vector object file or image raster and then the pipette will be able to take them as expected.

A simple example that illustrates this: in a CMYK document, create a gradient with two stops in grayscale by 100% and 99%. then shift clicking on this slope will not come an expected color but if you spend the gradient in two steps, you'll get two items at 99% and 100%.

Selecting with the range of colors does not work correctly

Well, at least for me it does not correctly. If I have items on separate levels, and I use the color range option to select the area, it works at all levels, not just the level I selected. This isn't what I want! I want only to choose the range of color at a level. The work-around needs to manually turn the other levels, but on a file with a lot of levels, which can be tedious. Can this be avoided? Either way, magic wand works only on the selected level, but not color range (or the range of colors, if you're American).

Alternative to Holding button down 'R' to the range selection Clip in iMovie 10.1.2?

Has anyone found another way to select a range of a clip in iMovie 10.1.2 other than now the key 'R '? The method used in previous versions of iMovie has been quick and intuitive. You just skim up to a point located on the clip, clicked and dragged to make the selection. Browse, click and drag. It couldn't be easier. Now, when you click a clip, select the clip. The only way to get only a piece is to change your train of thought, find the "R" key, press and hold and hope you can return to the creative process. How is it better for the user? It is a step backwards in usability. Am I missing something? Why iMovie software engineers would make such a decision of confusion? Is it possible to return to the simpler method by a preference? I can't imagine a user thinks, 'Wow, this process hold the 'R' key is really a nice update. It's actually easier to use iMovie. »

It always works for me this way in iMovie 10.1.2. Maybe this works only on my trackpad with touch of strength? I can't test it with a mouse now.

Symptoms: Booted computer, loaded the raid drivers and showed at the start screen XP for half a second then to BSOD with a Stop error Code 0x0000007E - see also a lot of users (0xC0000001D, 0 x-, etc.) as well.

Solution:

1 boot from your Windows XP CD and start the recovery console. You may need to press F6 while RC loads in order to load the SATA drivers. you will have a prompt c:\WINDOWS to the console.

2. type: CD $NtUninstallKB977165$ \spuninst (it's the update, I had to uninstall to get out of the boot loop, other updates can be uninstalled by changing the name of the directory to $NtUninstallKBCODE$, where KBCODE is the code KB)

3. type: BATCH spuninst.txt

4. type: exit

Don't forget to configure your system to boot from the HD before resuming. I hope this helps. Saved me a lot of hassle today.

Unable to choose in the drop-down list

I don't know what his name, so I'll give an example. I go on YouTube and open my subscriptions & playlist. I push the tab more, and I can see my other titles of the playlist. When I try to type on one of the titles, the option button close. I can not open & take an option on a website. If I have the chance and I was fast enough to push an option before the box closes it will open the file or the site without problem. I tried double tapping on the option button to keep it open, but it never works. Anyone know how to fix this?

Linksys wireless-g usb network adapter unable to detect the router using windows XP desktop PC

I've changed in broadband Orange yesterday and since then my adapter is unable to find the network (it was working fine with TalkTalk until I changed).

He managed to find a couple of other networks that are nearby but nothing else.

I have a laptop (windows 7) who finds the router Orange immediately. I tested the adapter with the laptop and it finds the router Orange plus about 10 other nearby networks.

I rang Orange who crossed their tests and not found any problems. I uninstalled and reinstalled the adapter on the windows XP desktop, but I get the same result.

Can anyone help?

I got it finally work last night after a day of cleaning up!

Even if the network does not have to be detected in the available wireless networks "choose" I tried the "New Connection Wizard" and entered all the details that came with the router. The adapter found the Orange router but nothing else in the region.

For now, it works but there is a problem somewhere, because I don't see any networks, I can see on my laptop.
