I read that you can boot from a flash drive USB for it, so I used a tool to make a 8 GB USB 2.0 flash drive bootable for installing the operating system. I put USB drive on auto emulation and the USB controller on with BIOS support. In the order of start, emulated floppy USB drive has been updated with the top priority.   Anyone know what I am doing wrong? If I just have something wrong set, can you give me instructions step by step from scratch (that is, a blank flash drive/CD and ISO downloaded), or at least point me in the right direction to correctly set up the flash player if it is the problem?

  It still hangs on the last line in the commissioning after the line 'Press CTRL-E to installation of BMC', with the blinking underscore, so I know that it is not frozen.

  It is bootable media and try to boot from it. It seems that the bootstrapper does not initialize correctly. I would suggest reformatting and reinstallation of the operating system again. The question is not hardware related. You can try another version of Ubuntu.

  Hey Buddy my laptop only tracks 1.50hours by using the battery power and the battery is not old and doesn't malfunction. There is nothing wrong with your old battery in my eyes.

  Were you recently doing a Clean Install? I ask because you are implying in your installation of Windows XP is in 'gold' or SP0 (i.e., pre - SP1) level. Well sure, automatic updates will not work!
  You can use this path to level – says in passing:
  Gold XP to XP SP2 to XP SP3.
  Note that installing SP1a is TOTALLY USELESS!
  Here are the detailed instructions:

  1. download the installation of SP2, SP3 and IE8 files. I prefer to keep these on a USB key, but this is optional. Here are the links to all the installation of three files:

  (Now you can physically reconnect to the Internet.)

  9 visit Windows Update to download and install only the critical security updates.

  10 re - enable automatic updates.

  You can't delegate who has access and who doesn't have access to the applications. You can lock devices with age restrictions, so only items appropriate age are at their disposal. Or you can hide your list purchases. The purchased app can then be displayed when you want to share with someone else, then be hidden again once the application is downloaded on their device.

  First of all, please note that you mean a computer, not a cpu.  "CPU" means "Central processing unit". In modern personal computers, the CPU is a relatively small chip, an integrated circuit. It is located on the motherboard inside the computer case. It is not the case itself, nor is it the total computer, which includes the case and what it contains.

  Download drivers on another computer and put them on CD or thumb. Bring them to the computer in question, and then copy them there.
