Unable to connect my modem to bell using windows 7

When my network card is set to the autoconfiguration ipv4, he returned with the following ip configuration: ip address 169.254.170.202, subnet 255.255.0.0 and there is no gateway address. When I manually enter the ip address as 192.168.2.17 with subnet 255.255.255.0 and a gateway 192.168.2.1, I am able to get rid of the yellow sign between the computor icon and the network icon not identified in the network and sharing window, but there is still a red x between the unidentified network icon and the internet icon. My windows 7 does not see my modem. I have 3 other computers running windows xp and windows 7 are working very well. With computor which uses windows 7 and works, I checked what is the autoconfiguration ip address and she returned with 192.168.2.11 with subnet 255.255.255.0 and a gateway 192.168.2.1. I preformed multiple reset by using the netsh command? ??? and I even reinstalled ipv4 using the command: netsh interface ipv4 install. I used the internal card, but also an external network card and I get the same results. I even ran a repair on this pc using the windows repair 7 but without success. Can anyone help as I am running out of ideas. There used to work before, but what has happened, I don't know.

Edward

To all those who have tried to help me

My pride has got to me. The problem is that I had the wrong cable connected to my ethernet connection. Instead of having an ethernet cable, I had a null cable pluged in. That is why I could myself ping, but not out on the web. The lan led flashes does not mean that it works correctly. Once again thank you for everything.

  • Unable to connect to an instance by using EM but properly connect with SQL * more

    Hello

I followed the following steps (from the document s/n 2 days):

    1. I created a model (including the database) to an instance named "orcl" using DBCA, before we proceed to create the model, DBCA informed me that the Forum might be stopped, I told him to go ahead.

    2. the model has been successfully created.

    3. I am now unable to connect to the instance orcl using EM, but I can connect to this instance without any problem using SQL * more.

Question: Why am I not able to connect to the instance by using EM? and what should I do to fix this?

  • "Unable to connect because of an account restriction" Windows XP virtual machine as administrator

I got virtual machine today and just downloaded some software that requires a reboot. Earlier, before the reboot, I wanted to remove my password I had set for the account, I went to the properties of the user in the control panel and changed my password for nothing. Problem is that now when I try to log in I get "Unable to connect because of an account restriction" even if I am the admin in the console. Anyone know how I can bypass this login/reset my password? I can not at all in the machine. I'm just stuck when connecting. And there is no safe mode F8 command at startup for virtual methods, I've tried. Thanks in advance.

Okay, so I managed to fix it myself.

For the love of everyone, go to your folder of VMS (search for it in the start menu if you can't find it), and ONLY if you have built your way out of a previous virtual disk (such as Virtual XPV HD) and always have access to this file, delete your virtual machine. This same folder. Then create a new machine with the file of virtual disk mentioned earlier, when you are prompted, and then run it. When it comes to the administrator, you will not have a password and it will record you up. Now, before closing, make sure that you change your password for an actual password to avoid that.

If you have followed this by following the instructions, you should have more, if not all of your files back and resumed control of the console. I hope this helps. :)
