  Yesterday, I upgraded to El Capitan and had to downgrade to Yosemite because of stability issues that seem related to the material in early 2009 with several video cards.  Downgraded to Yosemite (my previous config before ElCapitan, using Time Machine and everything works fine except imessage.  I can not connect with my specific password App.  Same password works with FaceTime.  iCloud in the calendar, email, contacts, faceTime, etc. work.  Just cannot connect to the iMessage.  Created app specific new password to see if the difference.  Works with FaceTime, but not with imessage.  Seen the suggestion to change the time zones can switch back, and then restart your computer.  Tried, but failed.  I was able to connect on iMessage before the upgrade and downgrade so do not know if the upgrade triggers something in icloud on end of Apple or not.

  Try a reset of the NVRAM.

  Press CMD + ALT + P + R at startup until you hear three Start Up bongs.

• HP Envy m6 is unable to connect/detect wifi but can connect to ethernet

  My HP Envy laptop m6 cannot connect to our wifi connection and connects only using the ethernet cable connection.

  He was always very well when I downloaded windows 8.1 but displays limited connectivity suddenly / no.. I tried everything that I can including reset tcp ip settings via the command prompt, find other drivers until someone suggested me to put my laptop back to windows 8. Still does not solve the problem. Now, my computer laptop is wifi access or detect any wireless so our wifi at home, or other.

  Please do help me. I really need to solve this problem. I am a student and I need bad wifi connection since it is the only available connection in our school. I am not knowledgeable on this subject, and it would be really great if someone could help me.

  IMac (early 2009) OSX 10.11.3, Facetime 3.0

  Recently updated to El Capitan. The Facetime icon appears in the dock with a 1 in red in the upper right. When I click on the icon I get get Facetime display with the activated camera and request to connect. When I try to connect using the Apple ID and password that I know to be correct, there's a backlog, but then nothing happens (no error of this message either). I tried several times with the same result. FaceTime works fine on my iPhone and iPad.

  1. If a McAfee 'anti-virus' product is installed, please remove it by following these instructions.

  Note that if you have already tried to uninstall the software, you may need to reinstall in order to finish the job. If you have a different version of the product, the steps may be different.

  Back up all data before making any changes. Never install a software "anti-virus" or "anti-malware" again.

  2. If you synchronize Contacts with one or more network such as iCloud services or Google, please turn off all accounts contact in the iCloud or subwindow accounts system preferences. When you are prompted to confirm, choose to remove contacts from the Mac. They will still be on servers and other devices.

  Log off or restart the computer.

  If the problem is resolved, re-enable accounts one at a time, wait until the network contacts reappear and test after each step.

  I have installed and configured the services foundation, eas and essbase in windows 2003 server, afteEA r configuration I have observed that there are no tables for eas schema then I found that it was a bug and applied patch and set up again it has been successfully configured.

  When I tried to connect to the administration via the regional service console server. He States unable to connect to the administration server. everything else works.

  I see only 4 services in services.msc

  Oracle hyperion configuration manager

  EMP web server application

  opmn services

  OSH services

  all services are started with the exception of oracle hyperion configuration manager. I tried to start, but it does not start... is - this service has an impact on the administration server.

  I checked the logs, I can't find anything in easserver.log.

  any suggestions?

  Looks like you have deployed web applications to a single managed server that is running on a port by default of 9000, then try to add the server to the Regional service as servername:9000

  I just got a new computer hp laptop but it is impossible to connect to the Internet. Whenever I tried to connect it to my server, it says unable to connect. I tried all the possibilities I could think. I also had a printer wireless and chrome cast which is unable to connect as well, but my cell phone, laptop and portable older is able to connect again.   The brand of the router should not make a difference. You know for sure that the router is working properly? Can you connect other devices to it and make it work properly? It may well be that the router is the question. If you hire someone like AT & T router, you may need to call them, there may be a necessary service that only they can fix. Go ahead and give me the model number of the router, will see if I can find something...

  Have you gotten to the point where you entered the security keys in your devices? If so, it reduces some of what we would have to do.

  Try resetting your devices. Go ahead and turn off your laptop. Then unplug your router for about 30 or more. Use it to back in wait for all lights to turn green. Once your router is ready, start your laptop up. Refreshing devices as is sometimes necessary after making any changes to the network settings.

  Sorry for all the running around... network problems can sometimes be difficult to understand.

Also, I have generated a password app specific to Messages. Enter just grew the message "your Apple ID or the password is incorrect." Messages is works well with my Google Talk and AIM accounts.
  • FaceTime: After entering my Apple ID and password, the engine just turns and it never connects me. Similarly, I have generated a password app specific but use it just gets the message, "your Apple ID or the password is incorrect."

  Reached out to the Twitter account of Apple Support. He proposed to restart. It worked.

  I have a HP Pavilion a1710n 64 Dual Core Processor running Windows Vista Home Premium.

  The computer shows that I am connected to the internet, but I can't connect to IE or firefox.

  My Internet Protocol Version4(TCP/IPv4) properties shows that the two buttons marked for obtain an IP address automatically as well as the use the following DNS server address.

  I was trying to understand why the windows installer did not work on my son's account. I went in systems and changed to start and automatic manual. Rebooted PC and the firewall do not come. Tried to do a restore, but failed and lost all my restore points.

  At this point, I lost my internet connection to know after vainly trying to figure out the problem I contacted an ATT(my internet server) of things ATT me had to do was change the properties to get the use of a DNS server address automatically and had typing me the address. After reviewing the many things ATT concluded there was not a problem with my connection and the PC is configured correctly and suggested that I should speak to technical support and of course, it was not free.

  Tech support determined there was something that crashes me to connect to the internet and had run me malwarebytes. He detected 24 traces of adware and 2 traces of a virus in the registry database. I deleted everything and still no connection to the internet. Next Tech had me run Combofix and says everything should run fine after that. Still no connection to know Tech # 3 had executed me guests of orders with ping commands. Finally, he had me check the auto config button and that's where I discovered the two buttons were lit. Tech said "can't be." Well it is. That's when I tried to roll back the driver, but no luck so tech says only option is to restore the whole system.

  GRRRR... After several internet searches that I'm about to do except nothings saved and whenever I try to use my backup and restore fails.

  Any help would be appreciated. I'm still fairly new to PCs so please be patient with me. Laughing out loud

  I know that my options have been counted, I was able to save what was important and made a full system recovery. I am happy to say that I'm back on the internet.

  The last few days during the use of the internet, some Web pages will not be not open. I get a msg of error saying 'unable to connect to the server', but it works very well with other sites such as Facebook and YouTube.  This happens when I use Safari, Firefox and Chrome.  Yet if I'm in Safe Boot mode it works fine.  I exaggerate the App installed VPN and when I am in normal mode and connect to the VPN exaggeration, all Web pages work correctly.   If a problem does not occur when it is started in safe mode, then you have already determined that the problem was isolated to a few 3rd party software running on your Mac.  Take a look at the information below to start with the removal of some elements of start-up and connection and see if the problem persists:

  Test your login items

  1. Choose the Apple menu > System Preferences, and then click users and groups.

  2. Click on your account under the current user name, and then click connection points.

     Make a list of the login items, you will need to remember later.

  3. Select all the elements of connection, and then click the button Delete .

  4. Choose the Apple menu > restart.

  5. If this solves the problem, reopen the preferences users and groups, add the elements of connection one at a time and restart your Mac after the addition of each of them.

     If the problem persists, follow the steps above to remove only the last element of connection that you added.

  In short - you can't

  IF you have a computer with iTunes on which you did a prior backup - the phone will be recognized and iTunes offer todo backup before it clears your device - that - except if you know the access code the content cannot be saved

• NB100 - see network wireless, but unable to connect

  My girlfriend has removed the Atheros driver on his NB100. I just reinstalled the driver of this forum and the wireless icon is back in the lower right. I however still unable to connect to wireless internet and am use to operate the wireframe.
  Free configuration can see the wireless network but will not connect and windows said: there is none in the range.
