Unable to connect to HP 8600 (N911g) even if it is on the network

I have a HP 8600 Plus (N911g) connected to my wireless network. I can access the internet (for his address eprint - that works). Wireless test says everything happening. I changed to a reserved via DHCP IP address, then tried a static. The router see that it is connected, and he says that he has strong signal. I made sure there is no unusual any traffic on the wireless. I turned off all firewalls.

I have a laptop and three (all the Win7 64 bit) desktop computers and two iPhones that can not connect to it. Scanning and printing doctor suggests jumping on the network with setting it detected. Update the IP address on a computer by using the item in my menu start says that it cannot find the printer. Try to go to the printer embedded Web server (by hitting his IP in my browser) expires. The strange thing is it used to work. I've had the printer for a few months (and it - when it works). He started out great. Another interesting thing - ePrint seems to work (I can send a document to the email and it prints), but only if the printer was already awake. If it is in "standby" I need to wake up and hit the ePrint button to connect and see there address - email then it prints. A little defeated the purpose printing when you are away, right? Is this a normal behavior?

I'm just as puzzled. I just for the firewall of the router (which is not blocking anything for a number of reasons) and windows firewall (which is disabled).

On a whim, I went through all the settings on the access point. Non of my other wireless devices have trouble and I haven't changed anything recently, but I understood what the heck.

There's a new firmware update available, which I applied.

After some reading, I changed "bandwidth:" (a setting I'm not familiar entireless with) from 40 MHz to 20 MHz.

I also changed the mixed G only in B/G/N mode and switch the channel to another.

Something is it seems there have been fixed! At least for now. For the most part. My iOS devices still don't find it anymore, but it was not a major concern of mine. All my computers have been able to print consistantly for about 24 hours.

I follow if I start having problems again, and maybe this will helkp someone else.

    Is 'Fast User Switching Compatibility' already 'started' and ' automatic? Also check the 'Terminal Services' and 'Remote Procedure Call (RPC) if they have a "Started" and "Autopmatic". You receive error messages?

  • Unable to connect to vSphere Web Client using Firefox or Chrome on the server 2012R2

    I recently installed the web client of vsphere 5.1.0 on my 2K12R2 box.  I get questions that are well known and documented when I try to connect using IE11 (but note that I can always connect to the server vCenter). So I decided to try firefox and chrome.

    With Firefox, I just get a cannot connect error message - Firefox can't establish a connection with the serere to localhost:9443.  When I try Chrome I get "this webpage is not available" with IE it came with the problem with the security certificate, but if I continue I can enter.  Other browsers are set to use the system proxy settings, so I don't ' know what is happening.

    exactly the same problem but I don't have windows 8 pro edition so I can't use gpedit.msc any idea to solve this? I tried all five options and none worked.

    BTW, I think it's STUPID friggin of microsoft to have as much of the element related to group policy, but not GPedit.msc on windows 8 regular edition!... friggin delayed.

    I understand that you are unable to connect wireless Officejet 8600 because you receive a message "this feature has been locked by your system administrator. I will do my best to help you!

    There is an administrator through the Embedded Web Sever settings, but in order to access it, it must be connected to a wireless network. Unfortunately, you are unable to access the wireless configuration. There are two options you can try:

    (1) you can connect an Ethernet cord, and then go to the Embedded Web Sever.

    (2) you can install the printer on your computer by a USB cable. Complete installation, and then follow this HP document convert a connected USB printer wireless. Once this operation is complete, you can access the Embedded Web Sever.

    Once you get this printer, follow these steps in the Embedded Web Sever:

    (1) at the very top of the page, click on settings, then password settings
    (2) if there is a username and password, please remove this item and click on apply

    So yesterday, I decided to put a password on my pc (Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit), but when I turned on my pc today, he immediately said that I have to enter a user name and a password first.

    But I did have the chance to fill in anything but it was weird.

    Anyway, I pressed OK and it sent me to the login screen.

    All of a sudden there is 2 users, instead of one, but none of them was my account.

    They both had no name or avatar so they were square just empty, and they're all two protected by Word.

    My password does not work on both accounts, so I can not connect. I tried to get with Safe Mode, but even then he asked me a password!

    I have a few projects out there that need to be finished and send it within 2 weeks so I really need these files.

    I don't mind if I have to format my whole hard drive, but is it possible to go beyond the login screen?

    Or just a way at least to get some files?
