Unable to connect to the Internet error message, "(serveur DNS) does not". "

Original title: connection to the Internet.

I am really a novice in computer science.   The wifi signal is strong and I'm connected to the internet, but I can not connect or when I do connect it falls to me as soon as it connects.  Where is my problem?   the only statement I received is that the computer is configured correctly, but the device or resource (DNS server) does not.   Can anyone suggest what to do next?

Hello

This problem may if the router is not configured correctly or if the TCP/IP settings are incorrect.

1. What is the brand and model of the computer?

2. when, exactly, you get this error message?

I suggest you try the procedure described in the article and see if it helps.

  • Unable to connect to the internet, error: default gateway is unavailable.

    Original title: help

whenever I use my computer at some point I will get a message that I'm no longer connected to the internet, windows diagnostics will do its thing and fix it, but it keeps well back, he says my default gateway is unavailable. Thank you amber

    Hi amber,

Let us work together to solve this problem.

    Please answer these questions:

    1. what is the accurate and complete error message that you receive?

2 what is the make and model of the computer?

3 you have any third-party antivirus installed on the computer?

If please try these methods and let us know the results:

    Method 1: Reset WINSOCK TCP/IP IPv4 and IPv6 TCP/IP stack.

Follow these steps to know how to do:

    a. press Windows + R keys on the desktop, to open the dialog box run.

    b. type cmd and press ENTER to open the command prompt.

    c. type these commands and press ENTER after each line:

netsh winsock reset catalog which resets the WINSOCK entries to
    default values of the installation.
netsh int ipv4 reset reset.log that resets the TCP/IP IPv4
    battery installation by default.
    netsh int ipv6 reset Reset reset.log IPv6
    Stack TCP/IP to default installation.

    d. restart the computer.

    Please visit the following link:

How to reset the Protocol Internet (TCP/IP)
    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/299357?WA=wsignin1.0

Method 2: Disable temporarily an antivirus installed on the computer and see if the problem is resolved.

Important note: Antivirus software can help protect your computer against viruses and other security threats. In most cases, you should not disable your antivirus software. If you need to disable temporarily to install other software, you must reactivate as soon as you are finished. If you are connected to the Internet or a network, while your antivirus software is disabled, your computer is vulnerable to attacks.

Please get back to us with the results and any other questions you may have about the Windows operating systems. We are happy to help you.

  • Error message: "Build signature does not match environment.

    Hello

I had a problem when you try to access the same data to two different computers through the library of BerkeleyDB. I stored data in berkeley db to Machine_A. Then I copy the data to another machine Machine_B. When I try to open it again. It by the following error message:
    --------------------------------------------------------------------
Create signature does not correspond to environment
error in creating environment varialbe document 1
    --------------------------------------------------------------------
The error message is raised by this code:
    Database db = env.openDatabase (null, null, dbName, dbConfig);

The data are stored in native java code of Berkeley DB. In both machines, I used Berkeley DB 4.7.25.The berkeley db libraries are compiled independently on both machines. Machine_A is "Machine_A Linux 2.6.26 - 1-amd64 #1 SMP Sat Nov 8 18:25:23 UTC 2008 x86_64 GNU/Linux. Machine_B is "Linux MachineB 2.6.22 - 2-686 #1 SMP killed Aug 31 00:24:01 UTC 2007 i686 GNU/Linux",

I guess the problem is because as the data itself contains version information. But it's ironic for me. The library is dependent on the computer because it is written in C, but the data must be dependent. Am I missing something?

    Thank you

    Marie-Claude

Hello. Berkeley DB depends on having structures of uniform size for the life of the community, because these structures must be written and reading environment files. For this reason, each environment contains a signature of the size of the structure, and this stored signature is compared to a signature freshly calculated in open environment. My first guess as to why you see this error is that type sizes on Machine A (x86_64) don't match those of the Machine B (i686). To share files of the environment between 32 and 64-bit platforms, you will need to make sure that the library on the 64-bit platform uses 32-bit types sizes (4 bytes for example pointers, instead of 8-byte pointers.)
