Unable to connect to Windows

Just recently, I loaded Norton Antivirus.  After a sweep a reboot should resolve completely all the threats.  After the reboot, the first screen that appears is a Windows Log in screen I've ever used before.  I don't have a username or password.  Where am I supposed to get the usernames and passwords for something that I've never used it before.  Is it possible to go beyond this screen, so I can use my computer?  I am writing from a different computer that mine is not accessible.

Try just pressing on enter on the login screen, the username will probably be there already, and maybe there is not a password.  If you can't get yet, you'll have to find anyone who installed windows on the machine and ask them what they put as username and password was most likely created during installation.

  • Unable to connect from windows

Here is a brief information on my config.

I am running Oracle RAC on a node two. The two nodes are hosted on Oracle VM

The system is 11 GR 2... Linux is Oracle 5 version 7

Scan name isn't on the DNS, but a single entry in the host file

the nodes are on the rise and work.

crsctl res stat - give me the correct information.

    If I use the following

tnsping rac of node1 and node2 windows command line it works

I also entered the ip address of the rac-scan (scan name) the hosts file in windows that is in

    / Windows/system32/drivers/etc

I am able to ping scan cars and it is the sponsor of the correct ip address

I also installed the full version of the Oracle Client software on windows 7 and a free version of TOAD and also SQL Developer on Windows 7

If I change the tns entry in the tnsnames.ora file on windows (win 7) and change this host name it works fine

However if I change the entry to rac-scan, it does not

Does not work - this involves the following

    Ping rac-scan (WORK)

    tnsping rac (work)

sqlplus system / < password > @rac... How does not work

If I replace rac-scan in the tnsnames.ora in the local machine (client - win 7)

with rac31 (my host name) then only I am able to connect to sqlplus

    Hello

You have an active firewall? If so, then try disabling the same and see if you are still unable to connect through scanning

Also, what is the error you get when connecting via scan?

Make sure that the next parameter is set to analyse:

    display the parameter remote_listener

The above command should appear as follows

    SQL > show parameter remote_listener

    VALUE OF TYPE NAME

    ------------------------------------ ----------- ------------------------------

    remote_listener string rac-scan: 1521

  • Unable to connect with Windows 10 WNDA4100!

I just upgraded to Windows 10 about 2 days ago and as soon as I upgraded my network WNDA4100 adapter stop working. The LED lights is no longer when it is plugged. I went to the website NETGEAR and downloaded the latest firmware that says it's compatible with Windows 10. After I installed the firmware, I go to Device Manager and click Properties in the adapter and I get this error message:

Windows cannot load the driver for this hardware device. The driver may be corrupted or missing. (Code 39)

    {Unable to load device driver}
HS device driver could not be loaded.
    Error status is 0 x %x

I tried to run the installation of the firmware in 8 of windows compatibility mode that has been suggested by others, but it never ends installation. It does not lock to the top, but nothing ever happens. NETGEAR is not willing to help me a little bit because it is longer than 90 days, blah blah. If anyone has the same problem, I would be very happy to help. I am currently using a very long ethernet cord running from my living room. Really, I don't want to have to buy another card and with windows 10 being so new, idk this new adapter would work even.

I just updated to Windows 10 and had a similar problem (driver works, but could not connect at 5 GHz). I dug through some forums and found problems similar to mine (and maybe yours?).

This link has a great miracle possible reason as to why you are facing this problem.

You are using Internet Explorer, to see if the system can be analyzed here - Scanner of Protection Windows OneCare
You can see that the malware also prevents OneCare Protection scan.

If that's the case then you can try download, installation, update and scan withMalwarebytes Anti-malware (MBAM).
Click on the button download the free version and Save MBAM.
Suggest you start the system using the safe mode with networking, and then install and update MBAM -a description of the options course in Windows XP Startup Mode
If it will not initially install, rename MBAM anything you care to and see if doing malware.

If MBAM installs and updates, suggest you first do a quick scan of the system. When the scan is complete, you will be presented with a list of detected objects.
If make sure that all the boxes are checked, and then click the Remove selected button. Restart the system if MBAM informs you that some objects may not be removed until the system has been restarted.

Reboot the system to normal Windows mode and see if it can be updated now.
IF it still can not, restart in SafeMode once more and do a full system analysis with MBAM.

    Ludovic pokora

    Hi Ludovic,.

Thanks for posting your query in Microsoft Community.

We apologize for the inconvenience caused due to updates.

I suggest that you want to run auto repair with installation media and see if it helps you repair system files or not. For the execution of the task, I suggest you to try the steps below and see if it helps.

Method 1: When you use the recovery environment (Windows RE) to troubleshoot startup issues, first try the Startup Repair option in the System Recovery Options dialog box. If this does not resolve the problem, or if you have additional problems manually, use the Bootrec.exe tool.

Because you cannot start the computer, you may need to create a bootable Windows installation media, and then do an auto repair, and if this does not help then you try to restore your computer to the previous date.

Note: When you use system restore to restore the computer to a previous state, the programs and updates that you have installed are removed.

If you are using Windows 7 then the link provided below might help you to download and create installation media.

Download Windows 7 Disk Images (ISO files)

Method 2: If the problem persists, try to rebuild the BCD by using the Bootrec.exe tool. To run the Bootrec.exe tool, you must start Windows recovery environment (Windows RE) . To do this, follow these steps:

    1. Place the Windows 7 installation disc in the disc drive, and then start the computer.
    2. Press a key when you are prompted. Select a language, a time, a currency, a keyboard or an input method, and then click Next.
    3. Click repair your computer.
    4. Click the operating system you want to repair, and then click Next.
    5. In the System Recovery Options dialog box, click command prompt.
    6. Type Bootrec.exe, and then press ENTER.

See the following link for more information:

How to use the Bootrec.exe tool in the Windows recovery environment to troubleshoot and repair startup issues in Windows

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/927392

Method 3: If after performing the above steps, you are able to start the computer and access the desktop then try to Uninstall KB3097877 update if it is installed, and then reinstall it.

Hope it would help. If problem persists always post back with the current state of your computer and the result of the proposed suggestion, we will be happy to help you.
