Unable to connect wireless Internet network unidentified error

Hello

My problem computer is a desktop Windows 7 x 64 used to run directly plugged into the modem, but when my moniter broke, I decided to use my TV as my moniter. I plugged in the computer, but I realized that I can't connect to the modem. So, using wireless on my desk, I tried to connect to our wireless network. I typed the password correct and connected, but when he tried to identify, he ended up as an 'unidentified network '. I have tried many remedies internet such as disabling "mcafee network" and hunting and catches of dns etc. Maps are updated, and the modem works on other computers, wireless and directly connected. I ran the Config IP on the computer of the problem, and here are the results:

  • Unable to connect to a network printer, error 0x0000000e

I have 10 NEW computers, dell 6 and 4 Lenovo, all currently running Windows 7 Pro SP1. None of them can connect to printers network that are put in place and a lot of work for everyone in the building. I have all the drivers loaded on the print server (also Windows 7 Pro SP1) and network printers have all the correct permissions and sharing settings.  MS difficulty it will not fix anything because there is NO PRINTER INSTALLED! When I try to connect to the printer's takes 20 min to tell me that 'impossible to connect to the printer' with the error "0x0000000e". I tried to go to the IP address and the settings of the printer are there and accessible, but it will not connect to the printer. My print spooler is running...  I took the property records C:\Windows\system32\spool and all folders/files inside. Also, I copied the mscms.dll file in the C:\Windows\System32\spool\drivers\x64\3 directory.  These computers are NEW! Printers are a mixture of HP, Epson, and Kyocera printers, the problem is with the 10 new computers not my network or printers. I have 140 (55 of their Windows 7 Pro SP1) computers that do not have this problem. I have the drivers FRO my printers... But these are NETWORK printers... If I install the drivers for these printers, the new client tries to become the print server and then causes WORLD EVERYTHING to lose the ability to connect to this printer.

Why is there no solution to this problem? I tried ALL of the solutions you have on this issue and none of them works.  Windows 7 Pro seems to be incomplete or defective. If there is not a solution to this problem, so I need to know where at Microsoft to send the Bill for my time to solve YOUR problem. This problem is costing me time and money! My company should not pay to solve your problems with your software!

    * Dell and Lenovo tech support both told me that it is a matter of MICROSOFT and advised me to contact Microsoft. When I did, the first tech told me that he had no idea how to fix this and gave me a higher number of support on the tech of lever. The second Microsoft technology wanted to pay me $400 able to talk to me on this subject...

  • Unable to connect to a network or to the Internet on my Dell XPS1530.

Unable to connect to a network or to the Internet on my Dell XPS1530. When I try to diagnose problem, I get a message that reads "Network Diagnostics cannot run because the Diagnostics Policy Service is not running." Having exhausted the patience all the phone with my IP and Dell, which tells me that it is a problem of Microsoft software. I have two other computers and a PS3, and I am able to connect to the Internet through one any of them. The XPS works under Vista with SP2. Can someone help, please? Thank you.

Go to start / Control Panel / Administrative Tools / Services and go to diagnostic policy Service and set it to automatic and start it.  If it does not start, check the dependencies and make sure they're too automatic and rnning.  Then see if you can run Network Diagnostics.

You can get in trouble with your device drivers.  Go to Device Manager by going to start / find and type Device Manager and enter and then double-click on the program icon that appears.  Check each device to a red x, yellow! or white?  These identify devices with problems probably (drivers, but also of conflict or something else).  Click on each for more details and troubleshooting tips.  If you need to get drivers (and you should get those developed to date for the network card and regardless of the device you use to connect (such as a router wireless or such) and all you have time to do - they can help way beyond simply solve this problem), let the computer dealer or the manufacturer of the device (NOT of Microsoft Updates).  In fact, you must disable automatic updates in Windows Update driver as follows:http://www.addictivetips.com/windows-tips/how-to-disable-automatic-driver-installation-in-windows-vista/. Follow these steps to get the drivers: http://pcsupport.about.com/od/driverssupport/ht/driverdlmfgr.htm.  Once you have the drivers, you can install them via the Manager device as follows:http://www.vistax64.com/tutorials/193584-device-manager-install-driver.html.

When I'm in a lke your situation, I usually start from scratch.  Create a new network connection by ensuring that all settings are correct.  Check all the cables (if there is).  You have already reinstalled the drivers - make sure that no firmware or software is also necessary.  Configure the network sharing settings and make sure that you are ready to discover the network and such.  Check other computers to see their settings to make sure you get yours right and essentially the same thing (the same exatly so is another Vista machine connected in the same way).  Go to start / Control Panel / Internet settings and make sure that it's too fixed properly.  To connect, then try again. If this is not the case, remove some time to cool down and then start again with another new connection.  It's almost certainly a parameter that is not correcct (something no doubt very simple).

    I hope this helps.

    Good luck!

  • Unable to connect to the network because the parameters of the computer do not match the requirements of the network.

The main computer in my house is connected to the web via a modem to our ISP (Cox).  We use a Cisco's Linksys wireless router.  We have configured a new laptop to connect through the router yesterday.  Now my laptop, which had been the connection very well, can't access the network.  When I go in the "network and sharing Center" and pull up nearby wireless networks, our network shows is even more bars, just a red X.  Reads the error message "unable to connect to this network because the settings of that computer to match the parameters required network.»

I don't know what has changed on our network, but I was unable to understand what these "required parameters" are, so I was unable to change the settings of my laptop to match the requirements.  Pls help.

    Hi Sharpdale,

    Step 1

I first suggest you to perform network troubleshooting in Windows 7 and check if it finds problems, and if he is able to fix it.

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/using-the-network-troubleshooter-in-Windows-7

    Step 2

Use Windows to configure wireless settings and check if it helps to solve the problem.

    a. click on Start menu and select run

    b. type ncpa.cpl, and then click OK to open the menu of the network connections.

    c. Select your Wi - Fi connection service and choose the option change settings of this connection.

    d. go to the wireless tab and select (tick) labeled use Windows to configure my wireless network

I hope this helps. Let us know the results.

    Hi Roger,

Thanks for posting your query on the Microsoft Community.

According to the description of the issue you are unable to connect wirelessly because there do not recognize the DNS server. The problem may be caused, if there is a miss match the IP address configuration. Then, I suggest you to try the steps below and see if it helps you to solve the problem.

    Method 1

Automated convenience store is a tool that can find and automatically fix problems with your computer. These utilities are not designed to solve all the problems, but they are useful to try because they can often save your time and efforts.

    Method 2

If the problem persists, I suggest you to release and renew the IP address. For this you can see the steps below.

    1. Go to Start, click all programs and open the Accessories.
    2. Right-click on command prompt in the list programs, and then select run as administrator. If you are prompted for an administrator password or for confirmation, type your password, or click OK.

    3. In the command prompt, type the following command and press ENTER:
      enough ipconfig and press ENTER.

    4. Then type ipconfig / renew and press ENTER.

    5. Type Exit and press ENTER.

    Method 3

If the problem persists, try to reset the TCP/IP stack and see if it helps you to solve the problem. To reset TCP/IP, you can refer to the procedure described in the article mentioned below. If fixit does not help, try to follow the manual steps.

How to reset TCP/IP using the NetShell utility

Hope it would help. If problem persists always post back with the current state of your computer and the result of the proposed suggestion, we will be happy to help you.

  • Unable to connect to this network

I have a samsung series 7 chronos 2013 np780z5e the intel centrino n advanced wireless installed, running 64-bit windows 8 6235 card. I can connect to my home network with wpa2-personal encryption and the public WiFi at my University. However, I can not connect to wpa2-enterprise security connection. It finds the network credentials and then immediately provides the message 'Unable to connect to this network', without asking for credentials. This network works fine with other laptops, and I can even connect with my phone. I think it's a matter of windows 8.

I tried the automatic network troubleshooting and updating to the latest drivers, but neither have worked.
Update: after network oversight, update drivers and reboot, it works now. Either reboot or forget the add new network and fixed the problem

    Hello

  • Unable to connect to the network "\\localmachine\sharedname" share

I use VMware vCenter Converter Standalone client, v5.0.0 build-470252, running on a 64-bit Windows 7 computer, try to import a Windows 2008 computer virtual (hosted by VMWare infrastructure) on my local machine.

At the start of the converter, I have "connecting to a local server.

Specification of the source system is OK, even if I don't know the certificate error.  The conversion wizard installs his agent and it connects OK.

To the Destination System, I said:

Type of destination: VMware Workstation or other virtual machines to VMware
    Product VMware: VMware Workstation 8.0.x
    Information on the virtual machine:
Name: same as the source system, such as detected by the converter
Location for the virtual machine: \\localmachine\sharedfoldername
Username and password: my Windows 7 credentials, with full control over \\localmachine\sharedfoldername, the action and the underlying folder.

"When the converter checks the destination settings, it is reported: unable to connect to the network"\\localmachine\sharedfoldername"share

So far the measures of investigation:
-Connection to the share through Windows Explorer works fine; It is possible to write to the share

-J' tried specifying the share as '\\localhost\sharedfoldername', but get "the share specified network 'localhost\sharedfoldername' does not exist."  It was a bit of a long shot, I guess, but the form does not work in Windows Explorer.

-Have you tried with the file and print sharing both power - on and off seemed worth a try after looking at other posts on this forum

The help says 'If you are connected to a local Converter Standalone Server, providing a network path or a local path to the destination directory'.  I tried the local path "C:\Virtual Machines\sharedfoldername", but got the message "error: specified as a (local) drive Destination.»  "Please specify a UNC path such as: \\machine\sharename.

Aid also States "You have not to provide user credentials if the location is on the local storage of the machine where Converter Standalone server running."  However, the next button is always disabled until credentials are provided.

    Can anyone help please?

You must be able to access the \\localmachine\sharedname of the * SOURCE * machine. The job of conversions P2V of Windows is to install an agent on the source, then the agent connects to the target (this is why it must be on a network share) and transfers the data. You can browse \\localmachine\sharedname of the source (but not where the converter is installed)?
