Unable to connect with WRT54GS v.5

Hello

Two months ago replaced DSL our internet modem with a Motorola model because our internet through difficulties, however, after this new modem has been installed, we didn't hang our router again. Our internet has been fine, but recently, because I bought a laptop, I found that he had to re - hang my Linksys. No parameters on the Linksys have changed since his previous successful use extending from the year last until March of this year. When I plugged the router, however, while all lights are green and I couldn't connect to the internet on this desktop computer or my laptop. Wireless laptop said she was, however, which leads me to believe that something on the router is blocking my internet. I have successfully updated my firmware. I have also reset the router and restored the settings. What is the problem with the router?

Thanks in advance for the help.

Like you, ISP changed the Modem, and now you try to configure your router to work with your Modem, in this case you will have to reconfigure all the settings of your router again.

As your router and the Modem has the same IP address which is the reason why you are not able to go online. In this case, you will need to connect to your router configuration page.

Open an Internet Explorer browser on your computer (desktop) wired page. In the address bar type - 192.168.1.1 and press ENTER... Let the empty user name & password use admin lowercase...

Once you access the configuration page of the router, on the Configuration tab, you need to change the LAN IP address: 192.168.2.1 and click on save settings.

Once the settings are changed, now unplug the power from your router and modem, wait 30 seconds and first connect the power to the modem and wait until all lights are solid, and then connect the power supply to the linksys router.

Now, check if you are able to go online.
