Unable to print, PS CC 2015, Yosemite, Epson 3800 - probably a printer issue rather than Psalm

I think it's more a problem with the printer does not do the job, but there are many more people on the forums of Photoshop, so hoping someone here may know what's happening.

I have the Epson print queue upward and open Utility window. After I go through the installation of the printer and Photoshop in Photoshop print settings and then click on print, the Epson printer window shows the work sent to the printer, but the printer just sits there. The printer shows black ink mat selected, but I try to print paper chandelier, so the printer should replace black for matte gloss black.

I restart the computer in case it was a problem of USB (Mac Pro 2009 so USB 2).

As I suspected it was a problem of Epson or Epson Apple. Sys prefs used the former utility Epson, so I had to remove all printers and reload, which forced the most recent Epson utility to load, then I crossed my apps and remove no matter what old Epson utilities in there.

    Let's face it, the addresses allocated to our printers are not exactly memorable. My solution was to create a Gmail account with a memorable speech and use the 'Transfer' function to redirect requests eprint for my printer. It does not work and I get an error message saying that I can't send a print request to multiple recipients.

    The option to transfer on Gmail has only an e-mail address in it, my eprint addy, so I'm stuck now what to do next.

    Can anyone solve this you problem or offer another solution to spare?

  • Unable to print on CD/DVD printable C5380

    I just bought a Photosmart C5380 to replace my Epson sick.  Load on an iMac than 2.4 GHz with Snow Leopard and all the latest updates and drivers.  Prints and scans very well... almost.  I'm unable to printon a printable CD/DVD.  Lower the door CD/DVD and prssing OK brings up a message telling me to use the CD/DVD software to print.  But I can't find anything.  The manual I have in front of me told me I should use the software provided with the product to create and print on a CD/DVD.  I can't find anything!  I downloaded HP Photosmart studio, but that doesn't seem to work.

    When we developed the drivers and software for Snow Leopard, there were some problems getting CD/DVD printing to work.  We decided to go with the release of the software without the CD/DVD printing functionality.  In the meantime, we modified the HP Photo Studio software and got everything working in 10.6 again.

    So, what should you do?

    #1-make sure you have the latest drivers from 10.6 to your printer downloaded and installed from hp.com.

    #2-go here: ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/united-states/pse/hp_photosmart_studio_software.dmg and download and install HP Photo Studio.

    You will now be able to print on CD/DVD by HP Photo Studio.

  • HP Laserjet 1022N: unable to print from IE11 to, HP laserjet1022n HP Windows 10 machine

    I am able to print without any problem at all on my new HP computer applications, but with the exception of Internet Explorer 11.

    When I try to print my internet Laserjet1022n explore closes and we must open.

    I uninstalled and reinstalled the printer (connected with a usb cable)

    I would be grateful all the other tips!

    Reset Internet Explorer settings (backup your Favorites):

    You can reset the Internet Explorer settings to return to the State they were when Internet Explorer has been installed on your PC. This can be useful to solve the problems that could be caused by some settings changed after installation. Reset Internet Explorer is not reversible, and all the previous settings are lost after reset.

     
  • UNABLE TO PRINT, PS, CC

    I have an iMac and Epson 3880 printer.  Yesterday, I had a problem with the inability to print from my PS CC program.  I contacted ADOBE (see case # [deleted by moderator; this is a public forum]) and installed the latest update of the program.  Which then seemed to have solved my problem and all day yesterday, I was able to print PS CC.

    However, today, the problem came back.  Once more I'm unable to print on my EPSON 3880 CC PS.

    Note: I CAN print when you use other applications, such as PREVIEW.

    What can I do to fix this problem?

    Error messages?

    • Try to clear the print settings by holding the SPACEBAR on your keyboard while you click on file > print
    • Try holding Opt while Print is open - the "Cancel" button should become a "Reset" button
    • Close Photoshop. Hold the SHIFT key, and then restart Photoshop (disables third-party plugins).

    Fast; cannot be undone:

    My printer will not print not black-and-white, except when a color cartridge is replaced empty.

    Some IIC (individual ink cartridge) printers have print heads that require ink available for periodic maintenance tasks. This avoids problems with hooves in the print head and the bad print quality. The following printers are unable to print when a cartridge is empty, even if the other cartridges.

    If one or more color ink cartridges are low but not empty and you want to minimize the use of color ink, you can change the settings in the HP software to print in black ink only (grey levels). Even if you change the print settings to print in black ink only, the other ink cartridges still have ink in them so that the printer to print.

    If you choose to print in black ink only, the printer always uses small amounts of ink from all cartridges for occasional maintenance tasks. HP recommends to replace the low ink cartridges in order to avoid any interruption in printing.

  • Unable to print from the web... allows to print from notepad or wordpad since

    Well Firefox using more than a year with a Lexmark printer. Switched to an Epson printer yesterday and used the Epson install disk by following the instructions. Tried to print 2 different elements of the internet tonight and got a msg that the printer cannot communicate with the PC. Called Epson which had me a test print om Notepad and print it out. Print very well. Epson said it isn't a problem with the printer, but rather a conflict with Internet Explorer (which I use is any more). Can advise you. The Epson has by default in my control panel and I unplugged then replugged my USB cable, the printer power cable and restarted my PC.

     Removing printer:
    

    Disconnect the printer from your computer. Click 'Start' and open "devices and printers". Here, you will find your printer. Right-click on the icon and tell "remove hardware".
    When the printer is removed, restart Windows and make sure that the printer is not available.
    At this point, plug the printer back in and turn it on Win7 must track a driver to make it work. Remember that the word 'works' Win7 found a driver and installed, it does not mean that it is the biggest driver.

     Epson is one of the original designers of printers I would be shocked if they did not have the driver you need right on the Web. That being said, that is where Win7 would receive the driver. BUT Win7 is going to pull from a pool of drivers based on what they get back from pinging your printer, they will pull what is said to work by the printer builder, it would be up to the printer builder to keep the pool up to date.
    
     So once you are up and running you may want to go to Epson and search that out. The proper Epson driver may give you options Win7 won't know about.

    Gmail, Yahoo, and SmarterMail are web-based email clients which means that they are using a Web browser.

    It seems that the printer is not selected in the print dialog box. Please ensure that you select your printer. Otherwise, it could use a PDF or Microsoft OneNote Driver, printer etc.

    Are you able to print from MS Word, Notepad, or WordPad?

    In the meantime, I would reset the settings of your browser to see if that solves the problem.

    Reset the settings of your Internet Explorer browser

    1. Close all Internet Explorer Windows or Explorer Windows that are currently open.

    2. Open Internet Explorer by clicking the Start button. In the search box, type Internet Explorer, and then in the list of results, click Internet Explorer.

    Make sure that your printer is selected at the top of this dialog box, and who print to file is not selected in the middle of this box.

    Sorry to hear that you are experiencing printing problems.

    Try to restart your apple device - it's a simple solution that sometimes allows to restore the connection to the printer.

    Other things to check would be that there has been no recent changes to the wifi password and the password for wifi on the ipad has been updated.

    When you want to print, what happens when you press on and hold the Ctrl key? By pressing the Ctrl will usually allow the popup which would be blocked, to happen.

    Press in and hold the Ctrl key, then click on your was to print.
