  I've just updated after effects CC 12.1, and I now get the following error during the launch:

  After effects WARNING: failed to load fonts "^ 0" "Neue Helvetica".

  After pressing OK, I get another error:

  Cannot load fonts required for the After Effects interface. Please replace fonts or reinstall After Effects.

  And then a final error:

  After that the effects can't continue: unexpected failure during the application startup

  I'm on Mac OS 10.9 and it worked very well with the 12.0.1 patch. I checked that Helvetica Neue is installed and all other CC applications work fine. Any ideas?

  The after effects CC (12,2) update solves this problem.

  1. what patch you are trying to install?
  2. What is the number\article of the fix knowledge base?

  You may have a corrupt hotfix package or may have downloaded the wrong fix for your operating system platform. You must make sure that the hotfix you download is X 64 (64 bit) and not a 32-bit (X 86) as you're running vista 64-bit operating system.

  Please see if you can copy the file downloaded to another computer and try to unpack.  Or try to download another package and see if you can decompress this file.

  I got a file compressed in my email, and even if I managed to download documents in my C drive, I'm unable to unzip them.  When I looked at the default programs, it displays "unknown application" and nothing I tried to apply is accepted by Windows 7.  I have Internet Explorer 11, and by trying to open the file compressed using IE, it says settings won't allow IE to be used to open the zipped files.  I am at my wit's end and need help badly!

• Police question - CF8 ImageDrawText()

  ImageDrawText() in the CF8 server returns error - "cannot find fonts: Serif ' and display the list of fonts that can be used, but the police I want to use not in this list. The font is installed and mapped with the cfadmin.
  The same police work perfectly on my machine of developer cf9 with ImageDrawText(). Have you encountered this situation before or have clues how to get around this problem? Suspicion appreciated.

• In recent thunderbird, I seem to be unable to zoom or change font size until I opened a message. The menu is simply off! How can I fix it?
