  I'm developing a C program to connect with my oscilloscope Tektronix. I inherited this project from a friend (who is currently in the secret), so I can't talk to him on this subject.

  On my system: I'm running OS X 10.8.4, development in XCODE 4.6.3. Initially, I had problems with NI-VISA 5.3, and they are repeated when I upgraded to 5.4 (I thought the upgrade would solve the problem).

  It's also a position of the cross. I posted on the forum of developers to Apple without success (https://discussions.apple.com/message/22681139#22681139). If my problem is solved it there first, I'll post the solution here as well. I don't take sides.

  This is all pretty basic VISA functions. I struggled in just, including the appropriate header file

After a search in the installation files, I found some examples of C Code that runs in the command prompt. I changed an a bit to get it to do what I want. My question is...

  Now, I have a few problems. I am trying to print a voltage in the command prompt. I hooked up everything and I used labview to make sure that everything works as it should (it does!). When I compile the C program and the run, instead of returning a voltage that is just acquired points and I really have no idea what are these 'points '.

  The data acquired by DAQmx are written in the array called "data".  The number of points DAQmx wrote in this table is stored in the variable 'read' which was adopted by reference in.  To print the values returned, you need to loop through the array of 'data' and print each value.  See this help topic for an explanation of DAQmxReadAnalogF64.

  My understanding of yesterday, it was pretty much everyone had difficulties to access Twitter from their phones. It goes without saying that, after a DDoS attack, they would return access slowly and ordinary computer connections are perhaps the safest or easiest to check. Is certainly not a deliberate slight against users of mobile phones.

  That said, I decided to change the TwitterBerry to UberTwitter yesterday due to the recommendations that I have read elsewhere and while the account check the procedure itself does not and continues to fail, I am logged in and able to update correctly. • Reading data with NOR-5772

  I'm reading the data with the NOR-5772.  I tried the example code(NI_5772-Getting_Started_(Host).vi), and it will read noise (with nothing plugged into channels).   However when I try to send a signal (such as that generated with a NEITHER-DAQ card on the same system and routed to AI0/AI1), the signal does not change a lot of the noise.   I have the drivers updated and am under LabView 2012 (32-bit and 64-bit, I get the same result)

  One of the first steps in the document is to call the AI_Configure command to set the input mode, beach, etc. I'm using LabVIEW 8.5 with the NOR-DAQmx software, and I can not find the command (which, in LabVIEW, seems to be "AI Config.vi") anywhere. The calibration paper was written in 2003, and I gather from Google searches (please, correct me if wrong) that this command is actually a part of NOR-DAQ traditional, who was replaced by driver OR DAQmx.

  My question is this: what is the equivalent to AI_Configure command in the latest software? Is it perhaps a subsequent document describing how to calibrate using NOR-DAQmx?

  Yes. With the cDAQ-9178, any set of AI modules can be included in the same task and in most cases that apply to the AO and DIO as well, but you cannot mix a, AO and DIO in the same spot. The NOR cDAQ-917 x manual goes into more details on what combinations of modules, the types of channels and the tasks are possible.

  Well, I wanted to make sure that you did not know that it is something that you'll probably need to take into account. On the top of my head, I don't know the answer to this question.

  If you use two separate tasks and you are using the built-in support of DAQmx for TDMS logging, then you will get flow TDMS separated for each task. Note that a dummy read will still record to the PDM file, then maybe it will not work in your case.

  If you use the TDMS API to write to the PDM file, you can do the preliminary processing of data before it is written in a single stream, but there is some trade-off between ease of use and efficiency: either you write data point floating in the file (easier but less effective), or you have to deal with scaling (most effective raw data (, but harder to do).

  Another approach is to put all the modules in the same task and compensate for the delay of the filter after reading the data from the PDM file.

  If you filter delay compensation by removing a whole number of data samples, then Yes. However, there are other methods of data processing that can compensate for a number that is not part of the sample clock periods. I don't have a recommendation, but maybe someone else does?

  No, traditional DAQ isn't USB compatible, 6008.

  You can use DAQmx base instead, but I wouldn't recommend it.
