Unified folders stopped working

I have several email accounts and they seem all to come to their respective Thunderbird mailbox in OK, but since last night, they do not correctly show the combined Inbox. For the most part that looks like everything simply empty, sometimes he seems to have some content in it, but when I move the mouse over the entries they just disappear. Quit Thunderbird then by him restarting does not help, or restart the computer (it's an iMac). What should I do now?

Go to the Help menu-> troubleshooting-> button information display folder to display the profile in Explorer or finder.

Open the mail folder
Delete mailboxes smart mailbox folder in the mail folder.
Restart Thunderbird.

That will force the recreation of the unified whole folder settings.

If this fails, try safe mode (hold down the SHIFT key when you start Thunderbird) as an add-on of thugs could cause problems as well.

    Delete the inbox and inbox.msf files
    Restart Thunderbird.

    This did not help.

    Thank you for the help and so fast. I checked for the option "Match all messages" and found that it set correctly. I also noticed a line reading 'Some files to search' next to a radio "Select..." button "I clicked on the button"choose... ". "and found that the check box next to the Yahoo Inbox was empty, I checked it. Problem solved. I appreciate the help you provided. I'm not sure I would have found the answer if you don't direct me in the right direction.

    I have all of the accounts configured to store all premise. But I want unified records in the event that something be put there,
    + Unified folders work for Gmail, partially for Outlook and not at Ymail.
    + All three showed under Inbox.
    + Gmail shows under drafts, sent and undesirable. (That's okay).
    + Outlook only appears under the currents of air and sent.
    + Ymail does not show any

    I have subscribed to all folders on all 3 accounts.
    I set each folder unified to include the correct folders for all 3 accounts...
    I deleted the folder of boxes smart mailbox and the contents of the changed file but nothing changed as to what was displayed.

    Problem solved - more or less. I deleted all my accounts and recreated them. I left the default values to store on the server instead of my PC. That fixed almost everything. Then I found that YMAIL does not have a project file, so it does not unified records show.

  • Thunderbird is boring (suddenly) slow and sometimes get error message about a javascript that stopped working.

    The error msg appears who says that a script has stopped working. Also means Chrome and Macafee have something to do with the accident. I removed McaFee, empty the cache, unsinstalled and reinstalled Thunderbird - suggestions from another thread. But nothing has solved my problem.

    Uninstall is often followed by a re install. Especially if it has not fixed the problem.

    Have you tried Thunderbird safe mode?... press and hold down SHIFT while the program starts
    Have you compacted your folders? File menu (alt + T) > Compact folders...

    Count 08/04/2014 Thunderbird has stopped working in my PC somehow. I am running Windows 8.1 Pro x 64. Before that day, everything was ok and Thunderbird was not working. I asked a few friends using Windows 8 and they have the same problem. Thunderbird load e-mail accounts and will not send and receive all of the emails. It won't even add a new e-mail account. This is the message received when you try to add a new account "sorry - we are unable to communicate with our server subscription. Please check your connection. ». If we're going to try to go forward and add a new account anyway the answer will also be that Thunderbird can not connect to any server. We have uninstalled Thunderbird and install several times in the last days without success. I was trying to delete the folder Thunderbird of the t in Program files, but I can't. Uninstall it and install new procedure including the deletion of folder was a solution a few years but it seams that now no longer works.

    Over the last 2 weeks Thunderbird started working only for a few hours and we have the same problem again. I asked about 10 people working with Thunderbird and they have the same problem right now and they have had the same problem during the month.

    Of course I turned off windows firewall and test if Thunderbird will work, but it was not a solution. I am running windows 8.1 Pro x 64. Thunderbird is not on the list of authorized or unauthorized software through the firewall, and I can't find any option to add the Thunderbird to the list to try to resolve the problem.

    I use BitDefender Antivirus and I disabled the BitDefender firewall and the same thing happens. I also disabled the whole antivirus functions after and the same thing. I turned from bot windows firewall and firewall BitDefender or off all BitDefender and the same thing happens. I checked the BitDefender firewall and the Thunderbird has full access.

    Also, I checked the Windows updates. I am not usually accommodate updates in my PC. I remember I have choose to not install Microsoft updates ever. I checked the State and he is near the top is not to install Microsoft updates. I also checked the "update history" and empty status is "you have not tried to install updates on your computer.

    I started windows 8.1 Pro x 64 in safe mode with network and started Thunderbird while windows is in safe mode, and it has the same problem.

    I am trying to add Gmail and AOL accounts in Thunderbird. The emails are all browser set correctly and working well or another e-mail client.

    Today (21/04/2014) Thunderbird has the same problem.

    I've recently upgraded to a Windows 10 laptop and have had problems with iCloud.  I can't access the photos at all - old hard drive Windows 7 accesses as before, except all my original photos (not Photostream - in folders) seem to have been deleted but it is now downloading Photostream when I activated my new laptop, but only back until June 2015.  However, other data seems OK - contacts, calendar, notes, etc.

    Step 1

    I recently moved from Win 7 to 10 to win.  Now, all the applications I built under Win 7 or rebuilt under Win 10 "stops working" at the exit.  I found some posts that were similar and posted one, but got no response.  As another user has pointed out, I did a return 0; immediately following main() and I get the same error.

    My suspicion is Win 10 and cvirte.dll are not compatible.  But honestly, I don't know.  I saw a similar reference to this in 2015 CVI which has been reported by NOR as a bug.  I don't know if it has been fixed.

    All the solutions to this?

    If not, can you tell us what version of Win10 are you running?

    My scan just stopped working and givee me a message, the printer is not connected to the computer.

    I turned off the computer and the cable and the printer turned on again but did not help.

    Instructions say click the HP and select the scanner action. But when I click on the hp icon I get only an option to install a new printer. Nothing else.

    I would like to work with you today with the resolution of the problem of scan that you encounter when you try to scan from your HP Officejet Pro 8600 e-all-in-one printer to your computer Windows 8.1. I understand that when you click on the HP printer Assistant icon you get a screen "install". This indicates that your software is here and ready to work, but your printer is no longer bound to this software. For this reason, I will guide you through the steps for reinstalling your device to fix software problems and the pilot. Please follow the steps below.

    Step 1: Uninstall the drivers:

    For the purposes of troubleshooting, it is important that we have a clean slate to work with. So, I'll you delete everything Officejet software and drivers on your computer.

    1. Open the screen, Start by selecting the Windows icon at the bottom left of your computer screen or by selecting the Windows key bottom left of your keyboard to the right of the Ctrl key
    2. When the splash screen opens, type programs and features. Click on programs and features to open it.
    3. When the programs and features opens a list of the programs installed on your computer will populate. Scroll down the list until your see HP Officejet 8600. Select the HP Officejet device and click Uninstall
    4. Follow the instructions on the screen to complete the uninstallation of your product.

    Once the Officejet has been uninstalled successfully, please proceed to the next step.

    Step 2: Remove temporary files:

    1. Open the screen, Start by selecting the Windows icon at the bottom left of your computer screen or by selecting the Windows key bottom left of your keyboard to the right of the Ctrl key
    2. When the splash screen opens, type run. Click on Run to launch the run dialogue box.
    3. In the run box, type %temp% , and then click OK
    4. When the Temp folder opens, select Ctrl + A at the same time on your keyboard. Everything in this folder will highlight now.
    5. Select the "delete" button on your keyboard. The Temp folder contains the temporary internet files. None of the actual files or folders on your computer will be affected by deleting Temp files. A Temp file should you will automatically get the pop up to 'jump' this point.
    6. Close the Temp folder when it is empty
    7. Right-click the recycling bin on your desktop and select empty recycling bin

    Step 3: Reinstall the drivers:

    1. Please click here to download the latest drivers for your HP Officejet
    2. Once the site opens, please click on the download button at the top left
    3. If you are prompted, please allow the download to run
    4. Once the download is complete, please follow the instructions on the screen to reinstall your printer.

    Once your printer is reinstalled successfully, please try scanning and printing to confirm that everything is working properly again. If your printer is unable to install because it is not 'detected' when installing, please let me know how your HP Officejet is connected to your Windows computer (USB, Ethernet cable or wireless).

    Try the following.

    Download and install the free version of Revo Uninstaller from the link below.

    http://www.revouninstaller.com/download-freeware-version.php

    Run revo and use it to uninstall HP MediaSmart SmartMenu. Right-click on the program icon and select uninstall. During the process, that you may be asked to remove the registry entries, simply select all and then click on remove. Do the same for all the remnants of files and folders. Once uninstallation is completed, restart the computer.

    When windows has completely recharged, run through the procedure for using Recovery Manager to reinstall SmatMenu-restart the PC once the installation is complete.

  • Canon MP Navigator stopped working (MX870)

    Windows7, Oper 64 bit system running

    Canon MX870

    Scanning was not a problem before a few days ago. No new software or programs have been installed.

    Went to scan a document and scan looked like it was working, then dimmed it and received the error message: Canon MP Navigator EX has stopped working.

    Searched internet solutions and tried them. Nothing works. I went as far to uninstall all Canon products and utility, even went into the registry and searched and removed everything that I thought I could associated with Canon.

    Always error. What should I do now?

    There may be a third scanner driver interferes with MP navigator.  Please, try the following:

    1. click on 'Start' and then on 'computer '.

    2. in the left pane, click the arrow next to the record Local (c).

    3. click on the arrow next to Windows to open the folder

    4. highlight the twain_32 folder.

    5. the folder should have 2 folders that begin with PIXMA MX870 and a file called wiatwain.ds.  Other folders or files must be moved to the office.

    6. restart the computer and try to scan the image.

    Try this:

    1 - click on RUN from START menu and type REGEDIT:

    2 - follow path: HKEY_CURRENT_USER/SOFTWARE/MICROSOFT/MSNMessenger/PerPassportSettings.

    3. under PerPassportSettings, you will find 2 folders named with a series of numbers. Delete the two folders including their subfolders... and restart MSN.
