Uninstall fails

When I try to uninstall a program that was previously uninstalled, according to me, I get the Windows Installer message: "the component you are trying to use is on a network unavailable resource."  When you click on it, an another Windows Installer message appears: "the installation source for this product is not available.  Verify that the source exists and that you can access.  The product was originally installed from a file downloaded .exe, not a CD or run from a web source.  So what's happening?  How can I get input on the control panel?  The program was Family Tree Maker 2012.

You are welcome. Revo Uninstaller is a very practical program

If you now upgrade problems, you should contact the manufacturer of the program, if their tips do not work:

  • Uninstall fail Photosmart 7510

My 7510 Photosmart would not scan on my XP desktop. At said Photosmart 7510 not found. I tried to re - install the software and received the error failed to uninstall Photmart 7510. I then tried uninstalling the software and got the same error. Tried the convenience store. When I came for Fixit Windows it failed with unexplained committed an error. The printer is not accessible from this computer and not only can I scan I can print is no longer.

Sorry, lost the will to try again until today. Went back through and checked all the programs have been removed, used the CD to try to re - install. Got to the point after entering the IP address after you have copied the dll files. Is not new. Tried again the uninstall utility fails. Obtained the Microsoft utility Fix and it has not yet. Verified that there is no HP services running. Was about to give up when I arrived here. Seen your answers. Thought I would try the link for the drivers and the software online. Tried to download and install

Entered IP address, got about 55% to install after dllcopies, but this time got a request of discharge of the system with an error in the Spooler subsystem App. Let him take dump to Microsoft. Got the printer could not be installed error. Went back to try again. Would check later but decided to try again. This time I did not have to enter the IP address. It detected the printer, and I checked it. Install has started... and finished ok. Even be able to start a new search.

No idea of what was going on but after another 3 hours I can print again.

So thanks for your help at least encouraged me to persevere.

  • Creative cloud update failed, the uninstall failed, installation failed

    Hello

Have had no problems with the desktop app creative cloud until yesterday. The popup of the indicated software I had to update the soft CC. It failed with the error code: 1001.

    Google solutions.

Then downloaded the uninstall program that basically could not,
"Uninstalling desktop CC completed with errors." Restarted Mac and used the latest installer, but received this message: "Installer could not copy a code review file/directory...error: 43»

    Google again.

Download 'Adobe Creative Cloud cleaning tool'. «I don't want to clean the other apps, but the rest of the options is a bit confusing what to choose as: "Difficulty Host File", 'Adobe ID CC2015 AppBase' and ' the Adobe Id credentials ".» Cleaning of those will fix my problem? If so, what info I let go?

    Thank you!

2015 MacPro, Adobe CC2015 last updated with the exception of creative cloud and bridge, OS X 10.10.5

OK, that can be a pain, but I solved the problem and created a new.

    1. After following the instructions above and still not be able to install the desktop CC app, I tried to update an individual program by selecting 'Help' in the main menu of an open Adobe application, then selecting "Check for updates". Unable to update any application in this way. Just got an error message that the program might be corrupted.

    2. oh well, read a bit more online on the use of the Adobe CC cleaning tool and after saving all presets, etc. decided to "all clean." Danger, do not take this lightly. He cleaned more than what I've read he would.

    3. this clean all "visibly" deleted all my Applications folder Adobe applications, but not actually delete the hard drive. At least the available disk size has not changed and there are no applications to the trash. So they must be here somewhere too much room. Created problem.

    4. find an obscure post associated download Adobe Application Manager with a link. After installing or really re - install this application (twice), then opening the application, creative application Cloud Desktop appears suddenly. So I guess that the installation of Adobe Application Manager automatically installs Creative Cloud Desktop app?

    5. connected to CC with the CC desktop app and am now re - download Adobe CC applications.

Don't know what's going to happen, but I'll post the rest of my sad story (hopefully with a happy ending) to others who might enjoy it just.

  • CS6 uninstall failed

I want to totally remove cs6 from my computer, but when I go to " master Installer 6 Adobe creative suite" he gives me a uninstal fail message.

I used the AdobeCreativeCloudCleanerTool and the only thing it says is left is "repair file host. I called and they said that it would not be a problem.

and programs are still on my computer, even if I tried to uninstall with the method I mentioned above, as well as individually for the uninstall program in their individual files in applications.

so I don't know what to do, I want to delete all the adobe from my computer, thank you

PS. I could use an application like Houdini to effectively eliminate the folders on my computer, but I don't want to do any brutal way by leaving all residual files on my computer that will cause problems with Adobe products, I will go in the future...

  • Uninstall failed

I'm having the same problem. Only Acrobat shows as installed.

    1. the 4 solutions on the page did not work

    2. change the language in the MAA did not work

3 I can't uninstall anything but the MAO, because when I try to uninstall the system (Windows 10) I get the uninstall has no window

    4. everything began because Photoshop would not update.

5 cleaner tool does not work

All my installed programs still work, but not probably not updated because the AAM does not correctly detect that they are installed on my system.

    Jeff,

I saw that another user, widmark2 reinstalled all applications through the AAM even if they showed the button "install". They said that the programs have not been installed twice, but this corrects the problem. I tried yesterday and it worked for me also. I clicked on the button to install all programs, and that seems to fix the problem while installing don't not 2 copies of the programs on my system.

  • VMware Fusion version 1.0 Uninstall fails

I have VMware Fusion - Mac 1.0 that has been properly installed and works on an iMac with Leopard.  I had an XP Professional machine and a Windows 98 machine.  I had a hard drive crash and had to reinstall all my software from scratch on a new drive with Snow Leopard (OS 10.6.7).  I installed VMware Fusion 1.0 a few months ago but never recreated my XP and Win98 machines.  Today, while he was trying to create a Windows XP Professional computer, I got several times the following (also attached) error message:

    > fatal error VMware Fusion: (vcpu-0)

    > NOT_IMPLEMENTED bora/devices/mainmem/mainMemHosted.c:1967

    > a log file is available in "/ users/home/Documents/Virtual Machines.localized / Windows XP Professional.vmwarevm/vmware.log.

    There is no log file.

The vm - support.tool to extract the data from the file does not work (of course).

I thought that it would be prudent to upgrade to version 3.0 with a completely new installation.

However, the uninstall application does not work: it shows just uninstall it's wrong until the end.

Any suggestions on how to force an uninstall or uninstall manually?  That may seem simple or obvious to skilled users, but I am relatively new to this.

VMware Fusion 1.x is not compatible with OS X 10.6.x and you should always check to make sure that something is compatible before installing.

  • Uninstall fails after installing the Hyper-V role

I installed VMWare Workstation 7.1.3 on my Windows Server 2008 R2 server to temporarily host some virtual machines. Since then, I installed the Hyper-V role on this server and migrated the Hyper-v hosts. Now I want to uninstall VMWare Workstation, but when I try to do it via the Control Panel programs and features, I receive the inherited error message: "[uninstall] error: this product cannot be installed on Windows XP or later." Windows 95, 98, ME, NT and 2000 are not supported. [OK] "obviously, this message is in error, but in doing some research, I have determined that this error means that the installer refuses to start on systems that have Hyper-V installed.

Is there a version of the installer that allows you to uninstall VMWare Workstation correctly? If not, are there plans to fix this hole? I have to any other option that follow described here manual uninstall procedure? I don't trust the manual uninstall procedure because they understand too gourmet suggestions such as 'Remove your appdata directory' (see uninstallation manual step 5B). Uninstall Hyper-V at this point is not a viable option.

It should be relatively simple to add an option to the installer to bypass verification of Hyper-V (and then use the uninstall option command in the seat).

only chance: Add a bootoption on the server so that it can start with disabled HyperV

    1. At the command prompt, type the following:
      bcdedit /copy {default} /d "No hypervisor".
    2. The above command should say: the entry has been copied successfully to {guid}. Copy the guid to the Clipboard, including the braces.
    3. Now, type the following command:
      bcdedit/set {guid_hvoff} off hypervisorlaunchtype
In the above command, replace {guid_hvoff} with what you copied in step 2. The command above simply sets a property in the boot entry that will not load the hypervisor at startup.

then restart option not HyperV and uninstall

  • Impossible to update to Windows 8. 1 * and * uninstall KB2871389 fails. I'm stuck.

Like others, I suffer from problem when updating Windows 8.1 refuses because he thinks I don't have admin rights. It seems that a majority of these cases are fixed by uninstalling Microsoft Update KB2871389 and then re - install.

However, when I try to do it on my laptop, the uninstall process restarts the machine and restarted, continues the uninstall process until the progress reached 67%, after which I am treated for 'Default configuration Windows Updates' and 'change back '.

I've tried about 5 - 6 times. Always the same result. Trying to install just the downloaded KB2871389 Installer fails because the installer says that the update is already installed. So, at this point, I figure that I have 3 options:

    1. Somehow use magic of command line to force the update installer to install on the update is already there, or
    2. Understand what causes the uninstall fails (what newspapers I look? I'm looking for?)
    3. Uninstall the update by hand with a tool command line or in a kind of fashion without failure or something.

Someone has any advice on how to achieve an any of these (or have a 4th option)?

I run well for business on my Motorola Atrix. Recently, I came across problems of running the application. Now, I am unable to uninstall it. When I go to manage applications and uninstall, I get a message indicating that the uninstall failed. If I go through the market and try to uninstall, it "just hangs" with the word "Uninstall" on the screen. No progress is made towards the uninstall. I tried to stop Force first. I tried to re-startup of the phone. And I tried to remove the battery. Anyone had any chance to solve a similar situation?

Ok. I solved it. Good for the company is as an administrator on the device because of the security that is needed to connect to corporate e-mail servers. I went into settings, then directors of the unit. I well unchecked for company and deleted as an administrator on the machine. He then let me uninstall.

  • Try to uninstall iTunes

Impossible to uninstall itunes - error tells me that I do not have this server network. I have all the steps up to 9 completed & will try that next, but still waiting for a response!

I can't uninstall or reinstall QuickTime or iTunes. I am running Windows XP.

Received a new computer, but the saved music. iTunes, originally worked fine.

    I have taken several steps.

    1. with the help of Add/Remove Programs, I tried to uninstall QuickTime and iTunes. The two uninstall failed because of "missing .msi file." Using search, I find quicktime.msi in Windows and tried to uninstall again, this time directing the program uninstaller in the folder where fichier_MSI resided.

    2. has received the error "strives to access a network or a disk that is no longer available.

    3. I contacted Apple support by phone. Tech walked me through the download and installation of iTunes, but received the same mistakes. He suggested I have contact the Windows Support.

    4. the search through questions, I found this point.

Here is what has been proposed and I'll try, I don't know where to find the Windows Installer CleanUp utility program.

    6. I used the HP online help program and reported the errors as above, requesting help to find missing msi file. Answer: "you must first uninstall the ITunes of the components of the computer and re-install the latest version of iTunes."

    7. I'd like to! But I can't do it with the old files that won't uninstall, that's why I contacted them in the first place.

Then I tried manually delete all the files I could find who was inside QuickTime files, however, some files not can be removed.

    9. now iTunes will not work because it indicates that the files are missing.

    10. open the program from my pc (which is how I got from HP support) and sought assistance error codes. He directed me to Microsoft technical support.

    11. I found similar error codes that were set by using Windows Installer CleanUp Utility.

    12. I downloaded the utility opened by instructions and sought the list of programs that may be uninstalled. He registered iTunes, but not QuickTime. I used it to uninstall iTunes.

    13. returned to Apple, downloaded program iTunes, but error code says: "unable to remove an older version of QuickTime. Contact your technical support group. »

Hoping that Microsoft can help. How can I get the old files to uninstall when the cleanup utility cannot locate? I can not uninstall files, nor can I reinstall fresh versions.

    HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Your best resource for addressing this situation isn't necessarily technical support from Apple, but Apple's iTunes forums.  These forums, like this one, are met, not by Apple employees (or in this case, the employees of Microsoft), but are a place where users can help each other.

Forum: Installation & update iTunes for Windows

It is possible that the Windows Installer Cleanup utility would help, but given the State of your system, it is not sure that you would be better or worse off.  The usual technique would be to run the Installer Cleanup Utility, and then try to re - install iTunes, then (if desired) uninstall iTunes, QuickTime, Hello, update the software Apple, Apple Mobile Device Support and Apple Application Support. Seethis article .

Microsoft has removed the utility install Microsoft Downloads Cleanup because sometimes it seems "damaged other components" (which I guess means that he "cleaned up" things that should have been left alone).  If you want to try it, you can always get it from Major Geeks .

I agree with PML, use Apple iTunes forums, they can be a real useful sometimes.

I recently decided to uninstall Avira Antivir & Comodo Firewall due to complicated updates, without success.  Uninstall was messy & unfinished.  Then, I installed Avast Antivirus, & tried to install PC Tools firewall, which was unable to complete the installation and is causing BSOD on a loop.

    Thank you very much.

    Yes, you said that... :)

In Support of Comodo Forums, there are many, many uninstall problems which go back several years and go on for pages and pages and pages - try things, perhaps, could be, could be, etc.

Some type AV programs have their own special uninstall tools.  I don't know whether or not the Comodo.  I checked my notes and I don't have to Cómdo.

When uninstall fail, some people have luck with this product:
    http://www.GlarySoft.com/products/utilities/absolute-uninstaller/

Some people seem to reinstall everything and then try again to uninstall, and sometimes it market.

I found this link on their forums that has a few Comodo uninstall ideas:

    https://support.Comodo.com/index.php?_m=Knowledgebase&_A=viewarticle&KBArticleID=10

If none of this works, you can continue this Comodo problem in their forums.  Tell them you found this BSOD, here is my info, here is my report discharges BSV, etc. and how uninstall you Comodo, during the uninstallation has failed?  Clearly your BSOD come from their product.

I hope you understand that I am not a great help because I do not use Comodo and won't install to try to understand why it does not uninstall it and what to do about it.

Right now, I would say that you have a problem with Comodo - is not an XP problem.

If the links above do not help, I would take it to them in their forums, where they have the Comodo product experts who work on this stuff throughout the day.
