    Hello

    ·        Why are you starting in safe mode?

    ·        Do you see the safemode, written on all four sides of the screen?

If you see you're starts in safe mode so you can't uninstall programs in safe mode since the Windows service install will not work in safe mode.

Windows service install is responsible for installing and uninstalling a program on the system.

I suggest to start the desktop normally and then check if you are able to uninstall the program on the system.

  • Firefox worked FINE yesterday and it auto-updated and now whenever I load the Web site, it crashes immediately, even in safe mode. Help please?

    I tried the following-
    refreshed Firefox
    uninstalled/reinstalled firefox
    safe mode
removed the malwarebytes program due to work for someone else
has ran my spyware, zero results returned

Chrome works very well. Everything else is fine. Firefox had no problem until it auto update last night. I can't submit a crash report because every time he asks me I say Yes and then he tells me 'problem presentation report '.

This looks like a problem with the NVIDIA Network Access Manager.

    • BP-db6d3841-B1A5-49B3-b0bf-4bdac2151222

There is a version of Firefox 43.0.2 planned to block this NVIDIA driver, you can try to install through this site:

Otherwise, you can check the control panel so you can find "NVIDIA Network Access Manager" or "NVIDIA ForceWare Network Manager" and uninstall this software.

    4. what web browser do you use?

Since you are in safe mode, you can try to perform a clean boot and check if you can start the normal mode without any problem.

    Method 1:

A clean boot to check if startup item or services to third-party application is causing this issue.

  • I've updated to Firefox 36 automatically, however, it does not start. I tried firefox safe mode, reinstall, uninstall avg antivirus, eks.

The computer restarts during the night to install updates. Everything was fine, but now Firefox, which has been updated to version 36, will not launch. Basically, I double click on it, I get a little access to the disk and nothing. I tried to start firefox safe mode. Same thing is happening. I uninstalled by deleting any Mozilla Firefox files, programs and relocation. Still will not start. I uninstalled the old version of AVG. Still will not start. I have Microsoft Security Essentials running and have updated. Still will not start. I need new ideas.

I just want to confirm a step that you took. When you say you deleted the program files Firefox content, this may have taken all the Firefox of the components off of your computer.

The steps that you must follow to remove a potentially corrupted installation of firefox are:

Open your Start menu, select "program files." In program files, select "Programs and features", this should open your window "uninstall or change a program". In this window, locate your program "Mozilla Firefox". Select the program with a left click then "Uninstall", which will appear once the program is highlighted.

This process will remove the registry changes that can ask questions. After you completely uninstall firefox from your programs, perform a new installation of the latest version of the browser.

If you have already completed this process without success, so there may be other problems with your windows updates, it's not uncommon. If you have problems after a new installation of Firefox, after following the instructions above, please check if your browser "Internet Explorer" is to have the same questions, if yes, then you may have problems more serious that will require new measures.

  • I changed the settings of Java and now Firefox plant she opens up, even in safe mode; How can I fix?

I tried to change the settings to access the comments section of Slate.com. Good or bad, I changed a setting Java-1 to 2. The setting spoke in: config and I think it was some sort of max. As I can't open anything, I'm not sure.

When I made the change, firefox crashed immediately, whenever I tried to reopen, even in safe mode, it hangs again immediately and will not reopen.

    Hi pternagy,
    Sorry, you have problems.

For any future reference. Those of us who mess directly with: config soon find out how to get errors and it is wise to backup. Occasionally backup of your entire profile for example can be useful and would probably give you a quick solution of the copy on the file from the backup.

OK on the topic to try to get Firefox back as it was:
Find your profile and the prefs.js file and rename that. (The renamed file is a potentially useful backup.) Firefox is then forced to regenerate the file and will reset your default preferences. You can then re open and use Firefox. Then, try to return to normal.

Try to manually change the file prefs.js is normally a bad idea. However, if this is a one-time change prefs it would be possible to directly edit the prefs.js file (while Firefox is closed) to get everything back to how it was before. You have the file renamed to work with. Probably best to test this in a new additional profile so only break you test additional essential Firefox profiles profiles works do not.

    These articles should help you:

Please post back with how you go and if you need additional assistance.
    Good luck.

  • After that restart of firefox does not start. is running in the Task Manager, but won't pop up. Reset safe mode and uninstall/reinstall won't help. OK so no reset.

Win7 Pro. has worked ok firefox. but lately with 25 and 26 now, firefox does not start. I see that firefox is running in the Task Manager. but it will not just appear.
If I still download and install it, it runs, but every time I restarted the system, it just does not work yet.
Reset try:, safe mode, uninstall & reinstall, new/clean profile none of these work.

  • Can not leave completely insensitive - Firefox, use Safe Mode, reinstall or uninstall

I installed Firefox less than a month ago. Two days ago, that he left suddenly during the navigation. This does seem like a problem, really - I thought I would just restart - but it REMAINS open. Shows the icon in my dock (on Mac), and the menu bar appears when I click on the icon. I can browse the menu selections but can not choose one.

    I can't:
-Leave Firefox - from the menu or with Ctrl + Q
    -Open a new fenΩtre
    -Open help
    -Access to "troubleshooting information.
-Select "restart with modules disabled...". »
    -Use the Safe Mode

Because I can not use Safe Mode and cannot leave the program, I have IMPOSSIBLE:
-Uninstall (it refuses to remove, because the program is 'open', as it won't leave)
-Reinstall (I can't substitute the existing because the program is 'open')
    -Remove my dock
    -.. pretty much anything else.

I've read many articles dealing with troubleshooting, Safe Mode, reinstall clean, etc, but unfortunately I can't make one of these because Firefox is open but completely insensitive.

(PS - I tried to install the below troubleshooting information, but, even once, because Firefox is not responding, I couldn't open it lol - there was "no application available" to read it.) I can't go through the manual steps because I cannot access the troubleshooting information in the Help menu and so cannot even begin step 1.)

If anyone has any suggestions, I would be VERY happy! I thank very you much for your time and help!

If qutting, it's because of the questions are now trying down option as you click the icon in the dock and choose force quit from the list!

Also you have tired Fox fire rest functionality (otherwise said if your power to access)
    To do:

    1. Go to Firefox > help > troubleshooting information.
    2. Click on the button 'Reset Firefox'.
    3. Firefox will close and reset. After Firefox is finished, it will display a window with the imported information. Click Finish.
    4. Firefox opens with all the default settings applied.
  • Update of FF, message says to restart to complete the previous update. I reboot with the same message. Tried to uninstall. Same message, even in Safe Mode.

I tried to update Firefox and repeatedly getting this message: "your computer must be restarted to complete a previous update of Firefox. Do you want to restart now? "If I click on no, nothing happens." If I click Yes, it restarts and I get the same message all over again. I tried to uninstall the program and get the same message, even in Safe Mode. I tried to start with a configuration of the previous system, but the computer would not give me the dates of previous configuration. I am running XP, and I deleted Internet Explorer, so I can't access the Internet on this computer. I tried to install the update by downloading the upgrade on another computer and transfer it to a flash drive, but I got the same results. If I go to control panel configuration/Add / Remove Programs, it says I have Firefox Version 13.0.1. For about 6 months before this incident, I get a message when I load Firefox, who said that he could not install an update attempt. If I clicked OK, at least he'd still go the old version. Now, he will do even that.

Hello, the installation of #3 in the initial response folder is referring to the entire directory "C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox", not any subfolder or file in particular. If the directory is still present after uninstalling firefox via the windows control panel, and then if it please delete the whole folder "C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox" & try reinstalling firefox afterwards.

  • Firefox crashes at startup and invites me to enter in safe mode. I then uninstalled (version 19.0) and now Safemode itself will not open.

Before you try to uninstall the version 19.0 and reinstall, Safemode was functional and usable. After you have reinstalled the version Firefox 19.0 will hang when starting upward, as it did before and asks me to open in safe mode. Safe mode then crash/no open and service of bug report will open. By clicking on "Restart" just open another windows service on top of a bug report. By clicking on the 'X' or 'Quit' is not, allowing me to leave the service window. Inability of Firefox to use correctly began shortly after the latest version of windows (installed during the next stop/restart) update at 01:00 on (I think) February 27 or 28. I have not tried to install an older version. I tried to launch the Beta 20.0 version, but I met the same exact problems. This is the only error code available to me, despite the sending of at least 5 or more. 'bp-b4a3d0ce-8747-46a9-9c04-efc892130302 '.

This error code "bp-f6520eaa-36e4-4098-a2a0-c61c32130302" replaced the previous after I tested the beta of 20.0.

    Hope that helps.

Follow the suggestions mentioned in the following article:

  • How can / do I compeletely uninstall/remove the unwanted "Web Developer Extension" that was automatically installed on my computer without permission, when I reset Firefox in safe mode?

Reset Firefox in safe mode. Click 'Help', then 'restart with modules disabled.

After the reboot, Checked 'reset all the preferences of Firefox by default'

Once completed, found three new tabs, one asking if I wanted to continue the previous session, a second Firefox, by saying: "Welcome to Firefox".

And a third with the title, "Web Developer installed"

By clicking on the tab took me to: http://chrispederick.com/work/web-developer/installed/11/ saying "the Extension Web Developer has been successfully installed."

The new Web site, which also requested donations, seems not related to Firefox. Anyway, nobody has ASKED MY PERMISSION to install

AM CONCERNED ABOUT THE EXTENSION NOT DESIREE AND WHAT ELSE IT CAN DO WITHOUT MY CONSENT.

    Hello
I can't use it on my Windows 7 boot (Notebook NB520), the system uninstall the program to uninstall search.us.com - a virus/malware.

I searched the forums for help and tried to launch the program malwarebytes anti-malware, who reported the virus files and depending on the program, has removed the. However, I am still unable to uninstall search.us.com.

I found another tool ComboFix but this forces me to run Windows 7 start in "safe mode".

How to I invoke safe mode to start my laptop computer?
Someone successfully remove or uninstall search.us.com?

    Thanks in advance.
    Concerning

AFAIK safe mode option is available if you open the advanced boot options, and you can do it if you use F8 at startup. Have you already tried?

Turn on your laptop and press F8 several times.
To be honest I put t have experience with this search.us.com but if you'll be able to start laptop in safe mode try roll back the OS a few days back to see if the problem persists.
