  I created a small site in edge animate that shows how a piece of scientific devices. The site consists of several animations showing the operation of each part of the device and has buttons that have a link to each animation as follows:

  Header - several links to the various components of a piece of the appliance of science

  Content area - 6 different animations contained in the symbols on the timeline

  The problem I have is that some of the links to the symbols do not work, despite the fine search code. Also if I click on a symbol to play an animation in the timeline, then click it again to restart the animation it don't work and will sometimes load different parts of the timeline. It all seems a bit unpredictable, as some click functions successfully trigger animations as I expect, while others don't or trigger a different animation.

  I want to know is if there is something I am doing wrong and if this can be solved? Or by the presence of several different animations on the timeline I am ask edge animate to do too much? I didn't know if I'd be better by creating a Web site in Dreamweaver (or another code editor), and then import all edge animations animate individually?

  Any ideas / help would be very appreciated. I understand that it is probably difficult to understand exactly the problem without seeing the files.

  Hey Ross,

  Really, it depends on where you are issuing orders. Using getStage is fine (but not necessary if your element of the caller is in the same symbol, that is, if the item is part of the main stage - in this case, just use sym), but when you use getStage(), there should be nothing between the parentheses. So, if there is an instance of the symbol on the stage named 'separation' and you want to play, use this:

  sym.getComposition () .getStage () getSymbol("separation").play ();

  instead (which was your code above):

  sym.getComposition ().getStage("separation").play ();

  However, if the 'separation' is a label on the main timeline, you want to play from (and you fail to do something on the main stage), then use this:

  sym.getComposition () .getStage () ("separation") .play;

• The scale of objects all anchored in a framework

  I design a page layout with pages to index 200 every tenth page (these sections are separate documents in an indesign book) with clickable thumbnails rendered via the Table of contents.

  Each page includes a "content frame" in which I got a "paragraph TOC style" with a title and a picture embedded in. It comes to be able to quickly create a "table of contents" consisting of thumbnails of every page that is clickable.

  The problem is that when I make the ToC, images related anchor are full-size so my frame placed with finished obviously OCD go not all ten "thumbnails." When I scale down the image, including all those images; only the anchors visible when the scale get adjusted and nothing else...

  So I want to do is select this "Fake" frame and run a script that resize all included objects anchored to 20% of their original compared to their size.

  When I do this manually by clicking on the objects of the anchor and resize them all flowing all good and well. But it won't be too much manual labor to effectively render these miniature ToCs that our client is a master of changes.

  You guys n girls follow what I hear or I should better explain my problem?

  Kent: Which can be fixed easily by leaning on the story rather than the framework:

  frame.parentStory.pageItems.everyItem().transform(CoordinateSpaces.INNER_COORDINATES, AnchorPoint.CENTER_ANCHOR, matrix);
  

  But you will be then be scaling all the inline and anchored objects in any thread frames as well.

• Behavior when the BootP table is empty

  What is the behavior of a cFP-2220, if it is configured to use DHCP and it gets a contact with a BOOTP server, which happens to have a cleared BOOTP table? Always starts the RT app (stop over TCP is set to False) and function normally, but with a link-local address?

  Is there a difference between having online with a DHCP server and using a BOOTP server?

  We have a case where one such controller seems to freeze upwards, the status LED starts flashing 4 times in a row. We cannot recreate it with a DHCP server.

  (This particular case is a bit special because it also involves an application that will try to reconfigure the controller to static (using the System Configuration API 5.0) IP if it does not get a valid IP address in the DHCP boot AND it has a valid IP address of a previous start saved in an INI file, and it is difficult to say exactly when the accident occurred... But there is a difference in the startup behavior to predict?)

• I get error-200077 Daqmx Read when the scale should be understood

  I have an application that uses a custom scales and NOR-9215.  The tasks and scales are that all configuration programmatically.  I get an error that GOT it. The min value is out of range, but when I check my graduation, it seems that it should be fine.  I have attached an image with the error message and also the scaling that I use (slope and offset) for each channel.  I calculated the permitted maximum and minimum values for each of the 3 channels based on the range scale and min/max of the 9215 (+/-10 v).  For all channels, I try to put the AI. Min = 0 and AI. Max = 13, but I get the error message even if these values are within the calculated range.  Is there something else I'm missing?

• unexpected behavior when the button is clicked - & quot; playhead & quot; jumps to wrong frame

  I'm working on a flash site and I'm running on an actionscript issue that has me a little deadlock.
  
  The timeline main .fla is long of 42 images. Images 1-23 are the preloader, each frame between the 24-31 images contains one of the sections of the site, and frames 36-42 contain paragraphs of one of the main sections. 32-35 are empty frames just to help me keep things visually separated while I work on this project.
  
  I have a subnavigation for this paragraph of installation in frames 36-42. For each of the buttons in this sub navigation, I have attached a very simple actionscript that links to other pages of the paragraph. I used actionscript as I've mentioned below, where 'web' is in this case, the name of the image I'm aiming:

  When I click on a link to take me to the last image, that is be named "specevents" (special events), it takes me to which frame correctly. If I click on the "specevents" button once again within this framework, I picked the preloader screen. This type of jump also happens in some of the other secondary navigation buttons, that is, by clicking on a link for a framework which I am already in will take me to a quite unexpected setting (always the same framework for each button, however).
  
  In fact, looking a bit more closely, I find whenever I click on one of the sub - nav links, I have to move an image. As part of the "specevents" is the last image, it brings back me to the first frame of the movie.
  
  It's all a bit strange for me, because apparently, I used the same method on the main navigation buttons, and they do not have something unexpected when you click it.

  AHA! figured it out. The problem is that I got my sub - nav buttons grouped together so I could move around as a unit. I have them removed, and everything works now!

  On the planning so I don't know why the crontab (planning of BONE work) being considered too superflaous? If OEM is better in a sense that you can buy one get a free (IE a script can cover your level 0 both level 1 support through OEM) then your backup with OEM is appropriate (I dunno much about OEM) if it's not then I don't think that so that crontab or OS job plan backup is less than the OEM planning.

  I have coldfusion developer running on my localhost as a Apache module.
  
  I have a swf that calls a cfm that pulls from the database and returns xml.
  
  When I ask the file ft3/min using a browser, coldfusion does its thing. But when I call the file flash cfm, CF code is not executed before it is served, to get the source code for the CF. It works fine when it is on the remote server that is running on IIS.
  
  Is there a setting in the CF for the types of hosts to scan for? Or is it something I need to change in my apache config?

• When the scaling in the layout, 1st page prints correctly, but the following pages were not properly/too large for the paper, parts of text missing scale

  When you try to print in Firefox and when the scale to the size of the page in the page layout, the first page prints correctly, but the following pages do not scale correctly and are too large for the paper, with the parts of the text are cut off at top and right. It is not fixed by checking or unchecking the scaling / shrink to fit page width "ignore" in the print window, or by changing the scale percent.

  I am running Firefox 15.0.1, on Mac OS 10.5.8.

  Try this:

  1. have the layers panel, the history and the visible effects at the same time.

  2. open an image

  3. duplicate the layer

  4 make a new empty layer

  5. take the Brush tool and paint two strokes on the new Virgin layer

  6 return the layer duplicated under the layer of white and two strokes of paint

  7. in the history panel, back in the States in history and look at the layers panel

  

  Now close the effect controls panel

  1. in the history panel, select the last State of history

  2 go back in the history States

  Noticed a difference?

  27Prac, make sure that the effect controls panel is pointing upwards, it is essential. But I tested it on Windows and Mac and see on each.

• Y50-70 screen flashing when the display of flash content

  Hello, I bought a laptop from lenovo y50-70 about a month ago, model 59445062, and I noticed a strange problem when using flash player content on Web sites. When the battery power, playback of flash content is slow and the screen starts flashing like crazy, especially when you start scroling around the page. However, when I plug the charger in all problems disappear and everything is fast and smooth. Student in computer SCIENCE, I have a hinch that it could be related to flash player and driver of integrated graphics, but the test of the integrated on high graphics demanding applications (games) there are no noticeable artifacts or flashing, even on battery screen. I use windows 8.1 x 64, all the updated drivers to update, flash player update. I hope you guys find a solution to this problem.

• Scattergraph crash when refreshing scale the y-axis beyond a certain range programmatically

  I have a subscription issue that I'm glued involving control scattergraph. I put my scattergraph to a fixed scale of 0-25 in the loading screen. When the graph is updated I check to see if the value of y is greater than the scale of the axis y. If and when it does update the scale fixed to range from 0 the previous litter, 25. So if it exceeded range 0-25, he was jumping at 0-50, if it exceeded 0-50, he was jumping to 0-75. The issue I'm having is well after the range 0-75 when he tries to change the scale of 0 to 100, the graph crashes and turns into a red x. I have no idea why it is doing at this point, so any help is appreciated. Here is my code to update the graph:

  Yep, the minimum size of the value, and then drag the window to be the smallest size allowed, then turn off "allows the user to resize the window.

• How can I make the text in all the boxes down following objects when the text box is changed from 1 to 2 lines?

  I'm faced with a problem of text box:

  At the bottom of my page, I have the title "ACTING ERMUTIGEN ZUM". Without any manual adjustment, I was happy to see that the text box pushes down the following objects as soon as the title Exchange of 1 to 2 lines. Point out clearly: I didn t add any point to stop or change any additional settings to achieve this, it just happened automatically and that's exactly what I want to happen.

  To my confusion, I can´t find a way to apply this behavior for the second title 'COURAGE OBSERVES UND LOSEN. It s on the same page. When I drag the breakpoint controller in the design-time view from the left to the breakpoint 900 pxor do it in the browser after export of the site, the title changes from 1 to 2 lines, as assumed, , but then the next Don t objects react and stay in the same place they stay when the title takes only 1 line.
