Unsaved changes when I open Firefox

I just had to get a new modem, and now when I launch Firefox, my staff has disappeared. I also have speed dial and everything I've added to this has also disappeared. Any help would be appreciated!

    Out of curiosity, what is the additional site? You should take a look at the Knowledge Base How to set the home pagearticle.

    There are the steps in this article to reset your preferences on the default home page. I would try everything first to clear all strangeness. If it works, you can try to set your homepage again to your personal preferences.

    If this does not work, you should look at article unsaved Preferences.

    Previously, when I opened Firefox I had the normal home page. Now I have the normal home page but I can hear a youtube video starts playing in the background, and when I click on the tab I see that a movie began to play automatically. The movies are related to a topic, earlier I searched on Youtube, but it is not always the same, so, probably, I clicked on something I should not have done. I followed the suggestions of the internet on the home page reset and they did not work. Basically, I can now hear the sound from any video / movie to youtube I chose to play because of the noise from the other, unwanted, one in the background.
