Unstable network

I do my version of FW R6300v2 V1.0.3.30 daily unstabilty experience.

My devices seems to be connected, but nothing happens when I try to open Web sites, and when I try to open NETGEARGenie on my MacBook pro, is not able to find the router. Wireless network appears as if connected.

If I try the same thing on an older windows7 device, there is usually no trouble.

I have an almost brand new macbook pro, two ipads and iphone which usually has the same problems with the router.

The problems may be linked to the 5 GHz band? Is it possible to disable it?

Any other suggestions?

Looking at the description of the centrino wireless adapter, it will work only on 2.4 ghz.

You can try disabling and enabling SSID broadcast on the 5 GHz. When you access the router page, look for the 5 GHz and uncheck the box then click on apply. After that is done saving, enable SSID broadcast once more.

If the same thing happens, reflash the firmware on your router.

If you use the right name and the password, this should be a temporary problem.

could also be linked to a network connection slow or weak. Try on wifi and 3G / 4G (in this case, you can use your mobile phone as a hotspot) to see if that makes a difference.

Some email accounts block a device for a period of time when it is trying to connect too often, even with the correct login data. This is for security reasons. I GMX here in Germany, and pressing the button receive by post 20 or 30 times in a row will lock the account for a few minutes. the same thing happens with a bad and unstable network connection: lose them and restore the connection, the device tries to connect too often.

  • Cisco of WRV 210 Firmware Upgrade at the end of life

I'm new to Cisco and not very knowledgeable on the networks, but looking for updated firmware for Cisco/Linksys WRV210 router.  Current firmware is 1.1.16 and I think 2.0.1.5 is available but I am not able to find if.  The router is on the list of 'End of Life' Cisco and is not supported, it seems.  I would like to move to a new router if there is no suggestion.  It is used for small businesses at home and structurally with cat5e cable.  Works well on my PC but when I went to the Macbook pro, I often have to renew the DHCP lease for a connection to continue.  When I added a 8 Dynex gigabit ports switch to my stereo equipment ' head in ' to divide the Ethernet for the TV, receiver, Set Top box and Blu - Ray on Pandora streaming now stops after a few minutes of listening.  Message appears on television (unstable network connection) or (not connected to the Internet) then removes Pandora.  With Ethernet connection running Pandora on my Macbook pro is always very well and never stopped.  I'm autoconfiguration for 100 Mbit/s full duplex (which could be a problem) and the new gigabit 8-port switch not set manually I know.  Maybe not the router but a problem of negeotiation automatic network.  I want to upgrade to 1000 Mbps network best steam netflix, etc.  I'm not sure I even the configuration of the router WRV 210 correctly, but if I replace it, I'll use it in another application.  I thought that I would update the firmware on the router WRV 210 to see if it helps while working this problem.  I can't find the firmware, if someone could make a suggestion, I would it would be greatly appreciated.

    Scott,

Navigating Cisco's Web site can be a little intimidating sometimes.  Here is a link to the firmware:

    http://www.cisco.com/cisco/software/release.html?mdfid=282414014&flowid=788&softwareid=282463177&release=2.0.1.5&relind=AVAILABLE&rellifecycle=&reltype=latest.

You may need to be logged in order to reach this link.  If you do not have a Cisco user id, you can sign up for one and it will allow you to get more resources than when not connected.

  • ACS 4.2 Remote agent compatibility issues.

I did a little reading on the compatibility of remote ACS 4.2 with Windows 2008 R2 agent, and it seems that the only way out is to upgrade the ACS to 5.2. We have Cisco ACS 4.2 SE and I would like someone to confirm that I have installed what happens if the remote agent on a Windows 2003 server of Member rather than the 2008 R2 domain controller. Such a scenario will work?

    Comments are appreciated.

    Concerning

Yes, here's what a bug documented with this CSCtg37183 information:

    http://Tools.Cisco.com/support/BugToolKit/search/getBugDetails.do?method=fetchBugDetails&bugId=CSCtg37183

    Excerpt from the previous link:

ACS 4.x does not support the Server 2008 R2 to AD.

    Symptom:

ACS 4.x does not support authentication to a back-end Server 2008 R2 Active Directory.

    Conditions:

    ACS 4.x
Windows Server 2008 R2 installed on the domain controller
ACS or remote agent installed on a member server in the environment (even if the Server 2003/2008)

    Workaround solution:

Install the ACS or the Remote Agent on a domain controller 2003/2008

Cisco does not support this scenario because sometimes work well other doesn't work at all, so nobody wants an unstable network right, unfortunately workaround doesn't help much. Although there is an ACS 5.2 trial version that you can test, let me know if I can get you the links.

  • On the thresholed of the H.245 Socket error.

Our client has a SX20 that is frequently (randomly) disconnected from MCU5320 by Socket H.245 error.

I understand that this happens because the MCU could not benefit from the Round Trip Delay response the SX20, as a response to Round Trip Delay request MCU sent every 30 seconds of SX20 MCU.

So, there must be a problem with the network (firewall or unstable network etc.) between them.

But I do not know "how long the MCU is waiting for the response.

And "how many times the MCU support no answers?

I want to know when the MCU assesses the situation as "H.245 socket error.

    Hi Kotaro,

    According to the following link

    http://www.Cisco.com/c/en/us/TD/docs/Telepresence/infrastructure/article...

Under what conditions a Cisco TelePresence MCU will cut a session IP?

Except when a participant chooses to unplug, the MCU will be only an end point of the Conference, when breaks TCP communication between two devices. This could be linked to the network or the endpoint, for example, when an end point connected to a conference is suddenly turned off, remove the network cable or the network fails between the endpoint and the MCU.

The MCU describes interrupt a call, due to network issues, as an error of H.245 network connection.

The time between the beginning of the problem and the MCU, removing the end point of the Conference will be about 75 seconds.

The MCU will never end the IP connection, in which case there is no problem with the TCP connection between the endpoint and the MCU, but for some reason any endpoint constantly send all packets UDP/RTP/RTCP etc. to the MCU.

  • 'Offline '.

    Hello

I have a HP Officejet 4500 G510n-z. When I got there I fought tooth and nail. No matter what I did, when I clicked 'Print' and the pop - up that allows you to "Select a printer" came, the 'status' of my printer would constantly "Offline." I have a Verizon Wireless Mifi that all computers and the printer can be on the network or connect to the Internet. On the Mifi it shows you how many devices are currently connected. It would show that the printer is connected. I spent a few days of uninstalling, reinstalling, Googling, reset, etc. until finally I've done something that fixed the issue; Unfortunately, I can't remember what magical thing, I did as it was in March.

Today, nine months later the issue came once again out of the blue. Mid-November, I bought a new computer Windows 8, installed the printer on it, printed Cd with it - no problem. Early December has tried to use it again and now it says "Offline". No computers in my household can use it, it just says: 'Offline '. My mifi device tells me that my printer is connected, however. I googled and searched forums and that you can't find a definitive answer and these answers that look intriguing that I do not understand. (I'm fairly computer savy but I need things broken down for me) I installed the "HP Print Scan doctor and" but it does not find the printer is useless rendured. I turned the printer market as it says without result.

It's really frustrating! For my work, I need the operational printer and it's really a little unusual printer when it works.

    Thanks in advance,

    xcftw

    xcftw,

If the error offline is caused by bad/unstable network (pc having is not the correct address of the printer)-this can cause similar behavior. A stable connection is fair value doesn't change the printer PC connection so that or get confused and always know how to find each other. Some of these steps:http://goo.gl/lx2gG

Anyway let me know if something new pops up .

    Hello

the ethernet connection became unstable after the upgrade to W7 Pro to Pro W10 (WiFi works fine).

It's always the same error: "NDIS:... network interface has been reset... network driver asked to reset... '. "(roughly - translated to > en). A 'ping t' will be sooner or later and repeatedly show time or general failures.

One of the side effects (suspicion) is that when it gets to the touchpad or mouse possibility are glued / stutter.

Without a doubt, the problem started after the upgrade to Windows 10 because that never broke under Windows 7 Acronis backups. But 10 Windows the first backup (and too subsequent attempts) failed with errors on the network.

  • Unstable wireless network (windows 7)

I have the unstable wireless network. It goes up and down, very often it is said that there is no internet connection.
I'm a meter the router, I have not all devices that could interrupt my wireless network.  I also tried disabling my wirewall and my computer of viruses (no found) scanning. I have another computer with the cable network, and it works perfectly. I use a router D-Link (DIR - 615). What could be the problem?

It may be worth trying to change the channel that your wireless router is configured to use, there may be interference from other wireless devices or the surrounding networks. What a b/g or n wireless network?

I tried to reset my base station Apple TV and Apple Extreme several times - this has resulted in the connection network briefly to come and then drop a few minutes later!

I don't know how the ethernet connection may be unstable, unless the wire is broken.

For WiFi, make sure your network using WPA2 - AES (CCMP) encryption, with no hybrid, no TKIP. And try to forget the network and enter the settings on the ATV.

You can also check the updates on your preferred airport, but I don't know who.

  • WiFi unstable and slow Internet high speed

    Hello world:

Recently, I am facing a problem of unstable wifi, slow speed of the internet of my macbook pro. I hope someone could help me with my problem.

    Symptom:

Internet mainly speed just unstable using a wifi connection. (no problem with wifi connection self and my wifi suddenly grave would not be)

    Example:

    • FaceTime with my friends and the connection would suddenly abandon or images & audio gets fuzzy.
    • Videos in online streaming and suddenly occurs buffering.
    • Download file of software update iPhone via iTunes, the speed is slow, he needed to take 2 h at the end and later on a window display "cannot download and check your internet connection".
    • Suddenly cannot open websites like site apple.com, google.com. Sometimes it will take more time to open Web sites.

    Hardware and software:

MacBook Pro mid-2009, OS X EL Capitan 10.11.5

    ISP: Cox, 50Mbps

    Modem & router: Netgear N450

    Test:

Turn off my wifi and connect my macbook pro with modem & router with cable, internet high speed is stable and fast. Internet speed download speed test result display is of around 60Mbps, download speed is around 8Mbps. And I tried streaming using the connection cable, there was no buffering.

I already tried the possible Solutions:

    • Restart the Macbook pro and restart Modem & router: will not work. I mean the internet will be very well at first, but later would be unstable again.
    • Reset Wireless Modem & router and change channels: useful, but not completely solve the problem. After you change the wireless channel, I tested my internet speed and the result showing 20-40Mbps (slower than 60mbps) speed download. Sometimes, the result will be like 6-8Mbps and sometimes it will be 60Mbps. If its unstable.
    • Wireless diagnosis: result indicates connection is good.
    • Called my ISP provider: they checked and said all right.

    Other Questions & details:

    • The internet is ok for most of the time. But when all of a sudden I can't open site or I can't download and streaming & FaceTime at normal speed, his frustration.
    • I thought it might be related to my hardware since its an old macbook pro. I can't run Apple hardware test because I don't have the installation disc more and my macbook pro is very old. Is it a third party software that can perform the test hardware on mac?
    • My wifi used to be very stable and I don't have to worry. Just for these last two weeks.

I really appreciate your time and help! Looking forward to any reply!

  • SOLUTION for your HP printer disconnect and/or constantly disconnecting from the network

If you are having a problem printing, scanning or fax with any HP printer because of this be disconnected and constantly disconnecting from the network, here again is the fix!

I thought that this all after several failed attempts with HP Support, my Internet access provider and various troubleshooting tasks including reinstall the HP software and more and more.  Well, through self teaching on internet and exhausting search for 6 months, I FINALLY thought to it.  OMG!  I'm a paramedic (not IT) and a little computer but far not an expert.  I have all of you here!  Nobody seems to have the answer, but I'm sure that I'm doing it to 97%.  Whatever it is, if it please answer and let me know that it worked for you!  :-)

It doesn't matter if your printer is installed cable or wireless.  You don't reinstall your software, no recycling power of your printers or your router/Modem.  Your printer is unstable on the network and continues to log out or disconnect from the network it is NOT because the software is glitched, it isn't a firewall problem by saying, is not a router problem, is not a problem with your power cord, because most networks use a 'Beach' and IP addresses for security reasons This kind of "cycles" the IP addresses of the devices to reduce the risk of an attack.  A printer is not a threat, but the 'network' don't own human intelligence, so he does not know this.  Here are my step by step instructions on how to basically your printer address IP (static IP) instead of change back through a cycle so drop your printer on the network or disconnected.

Funny, if you're someone who has had the elements in your print queue, they will not print, and you turn your printer off and on again and suddenly your print... well documents, join my club.  The reason it works is that when you turn on the printer, it starts with the same IP address before cycle.  If you are someone who is sitting there for a while and all of a sudden your printed documents without changing you something... it is because through the cycle of change of IP address, it hits your printers IP address and the network would allow him to print.  Not very funny, I know.  It took me forever to figure out why my printer would print sometimes, but not always.  Since I thought at this point, I can SCAN, PRINT, and use all the features of my HP software installed like HP, Photosmart Essentials Solution Center.

On your printer, go to menu/Setup/network and press OK.  In the network menu, print a "network configuration page" so you can see the IP address and other settings of your printer.

Now, back to the main menu on the screen of your printers.  Or you can go to your web browser and type the IP address using decimal numbers too and this will take you to the web page of your printers.  Choose: setup\network, then press OK.  Look for the IP settings and press OK. Choose "manual" instead of "automatic". Manually enter the IP address it as well as the default gateway that you can see the Network Setup page you printed earlier.  Note: If you manually set the IP Address of the printer, make sure that it is outside the range of your router's DHCP. Otherwise you might encounter a problem with IP addresses on your network duplicate. (If you don't know how to do this, write back and I'll explain).  Don't forget to click "save changes".  Now, restart your computer, and print just what you want.  :-)

A trick I often use with DHCP network printers:
In printers and faxes, right-click on the printer and select "Properties".  Click Add a new port.  Choose standard TCP/IP port configured for the host name of the printer. Read the host name of the network printer configuration sheet.

Using my method means that you always connect to the printer even if its IP address changes (which can happen with the dynamic configuration). This does not jeopardize the security of your network.  It shows just your printer to stay put and stop traveling the highway of IP address.  :-)

The DHCP range is the range of IP addresses that the router distributes automatically as devices to join the network.  The DHCP range is determined by the router and each brand has a range that is set at the factory (which can be changed by you).

Default value for the DHCP of your D-link is 192.168.0.100 to 192.168.0.199.  Thus, outside the DHCP range est.2 a.99.200 a.254.

Is a handy cheat sheet attached.

You can change this interval by entering the router settings page - type the router's IP address in a browser, enter the login information and access the DHCP parameter area (varies depending on router, hunting around).

  • AT200 - problems of network connection to day ics

I tried several times to update to ICS, but I can't download the software package!

When I try this at home, I get about one-fifth of the full download before he says "could not download the software.
Please check your network connection. I tried to download via public wifi in coffee - same problem.

I read on the Forums that others have this problem as well, but there is no answer yet. Anyone with an idea full help there?
    That...

Have you tried to install the application "Fixer WiFi"? I can just guess that your WiFi connection is unstable and station service app download recovery (all?) may not be very robust.

Personally, I had no problem download & install the update (in addition, there is some messagebox after update).

    #1
Are you sure, that there is enough free space on your shelf for download? (Shouldn't need more than 1 GB)

    #2
Optimize your WiFi connection. Put the Tablet next to the router during the download. If this does not help, try to check (i.e. with a laptop and software, or the router can have such a function) what are the channels (2, 4 GHz) have probably never served in your neighborhood and try to reconfigure the router to use a channel of the less/not used.

    It will be useful.

  • Envy 15-q004tx: unstable Wifi

    Hi all

So I recently bought this new laptop. its technology uses the 802.11ac WiFi.

wifi works, but is rather unstable. My ping will boost high enough often enough for a few seconds and I usually lose the connection with what I do.

I'm the only one on the wifi, there are no other programs running that are using the internet, but this continues to be.

It is quite annoying and did some of my courses online unaccessable.

If anyone has a solution for this would be great!

    Thank you!

You can try changing your router in order to disseminate the tape of "n" only if you do not have the 'G' tape devices connected to your network. It can improve your signal. You can also try disabling your firewall and router security temporarily just to see if it helps. If your router is equipped with the external antenna, you can buy a spare antenna "high gain".  Since you have a fast wifi card of AC that it might be useful to upgrade your router to a new router to AC.
