Unstoppable processes back
I use Windows 7 - Ultimate on my laptop edition. My pc automatically starts the backup process planned on my laptop hard drive. Since my laptop HARD drive was not connected, I tried to stop or cancel the process directly and indirectly through the Task Manager, but couldn't. I even tried switching "off / on", but the backup process is still ongoing in the background. How can I solve this problem?

Method 1: I suggest to follow the steps provided and we update on the State of the question.
a. open backup and restore by clicking the Start button, clicking Control Panel, clicking system and Maintenance, and then clicking on the backup and restore.
(b) to turn off the automatic backup schedule
c. click the top link to disable calendar in the left pane of blue.
NOTE: It may take a few seconds to turn it off.
d. close the window backup and restore when finished.

Method 2: Use the Task Scheduler tool to disable the scheduled tasks.
Using Task Scheduler in Windows Vista (Taskschd.msc) to modify the scheduled tasks. To view the scheduled backup tasks, follow these steps:
(a) click Start

If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type your password, or click continue.
(b) in the MMC snap-in Scheduler of tasks Microsoft Management Console (), expand Task Scheduler Library, expand Microsoft, expand Windows, and then click WindowsBackup.
Note If no backup tasks are planned, the WindowsBackup folder may not appear.
(c) click the scheduled task, and then click disable in the component stocks .

wbengine.exe process back up Windows server crash

I have a real scarecrow if anyone can help with the below.
I have a windows 2008 R2 server and I'm in windows server backup to back up my exchange databases,
as incremental backups about 4-5 gb nightly take 10-15 minutes to complete successfully.
However I had two instances to find the volume is stuck at 1%.
I tired to cancel this backup the right way by using the windows server backup console, but the screen cancel freezes and not finished I left the night before and always the same when I come back.
so after killing the console of windows server backup process, I'm stuck with the wbengine process that prevents that a return ups taking place because she is already a running process.
I tired to the next stop using cmd lines and block-level service to kill while he reports, he killed the process, it is still there and preventing return taking place, I found the only way to stop it is to bounce the server which is not an ideal solution, if one has information or ideas on how to avoid this in the future I would be grateful.

On Adobe Acrobat Pro XI, the batch of stocks does not work in the background. Each document is processed back Adobe to the active window. In previous versions, the action/batch has always run in the background. During the processing of 1000 files, it is very annoying and time consuming.
I looked at a multitude of settings and tried various open and save options. Nothing do.
Has anyone found a way around that?

Unfortunately, there is nothing you can do about it. I have found that on Windows you can kind of get around that by reducing the window of Acrobat using Win + D, but this is hardly a good solution. Acrobat is simply not built for the treatment of large quantities of files, even if it has the functionality of the wizard of the Action...
If you need to do this, then you should look for a more robust tool.

Hi there champrider,
It sounds like your computer guard stop on its own, and the only way you can get it to come is to unplug for a while. If you get some sort of error when the computer restarts, take a look at this article:
OS X El Capitan: If your Mac restarts and a message
If this isn't the case, then I suggest starting in safe mode to delete a few caches as well as system-level to check and fix if necessary startup disk.
OS X El Capitan: start in safe mode
If the problem persists then I would then reset the SMC on your computer:
Reset the management system (SCM) controller on your Mac.

Cannot save edited image. Error message: "the file is already in use or left open.
I tried to save JPEG images after making a few changes to Photoshop CS4. For each file, I get the message "cannot save (file name) because the file is already in use or left open." I checked my apps and nothing is running would be to use the image. Can someone look over my EtreCheck and tell me if there is something current funny? I'm working on hundreds of images, so just change the name is slow and heavy work around. The problem seems to have started after update 10.11.

This procedure is a diagnostic test. It is unlikely to solve your problem. Don't be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.
The test is intended to determine if the problem is caused by a third-party software that loads automatically at startup or logon, by a device, by a police conflict or corruption of system files or some system caches.
Disconnect all devices wired except those required to test and remove all the expansion cards from secondary market, as appropriate. Start in safe mode and log on to the account of the problem.
Note: If FileVault is enabled in OS X 10.9 or an earlier version, or if a firmware password is defined, or if the boot volume is a software RAID, you can not do this. Ask for additional instructions.
Safe mode is much slower to boot and run as normal, with limited graphics performance, and some things work at all, including an audio output and a Wi - Fi connection on some models. The next normal boot can also be a bit slow.
The login screen is displayed even if you usually connect automatically. You need your password to log on. If you have forgotten the password, you will have to reset it before you begin.
Test in safe mode. Same problem?
After testing, restart as usual (not in safe mode) and make sure you always have the problem. View the results of the test.

I just installed El Capitan and now my MBP works slowly / runs poorly. Safari is trolling and I seem to have a constant spinning wheel icon. I ran a check of the being - results are lower. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

When you see a beachball cursor or the slowness is particularly bad, note the exact time: hour, minute, second.
These must be run as administrator. If you have only one user account, you are the administrator.
Run the Console application in one of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first letters of his name in a Spotlight search. Select from the results (it should be at the top).

The journal contains a large amount of information, almost all this is useless to solve any particular problem. When you post a journal excerpt, be selective. A few dozen lines are almost always more than enough.
Please don't dump blindly thousands of lines in the journal in this discussion.

Satellite L350 - How can I use my recovery disk?
I have a Satellite L350 and you must return to the original settings. I created a recovery disc but don't know what to do from here.
Before to start a restoration process, back up all important data. The, enter the Bios (F2 at startup) and the value of cd/ddvrom under the 1st boot device. Press f10 to save and exit. Insert the diskette and reboot the laptop. Then follow the instructions on the screen and that's it. Knowledge, during the recovery process that your computer restarts repeatedly :)

I created a page of HTML form. I want to export all of the fields that are stored as HTML in Labview, doing work of all processing back-end on the fields and return of return to HTML values. Does anyone know if this is possible in LabVIEW? If not, can anyone please suggest what is the best way to make this work.

dv5 1002nr difficulty for the black screen and 2 flashing lights
Hello!
So I have this laptop (dv5 1002nr) and of course just after the warranty goes out did the laptop. This original computer was one of my friends who took to Best Buy Geek Squad and they told him to fix this laptop it would cost $400 if not more.
So to make a long story short, she got a new computer and I helped get parameter and everything and then I asked for this laptop (I have set now free) did not work if I could have. He was a useless piece of junk so she agreed.
After about an hour of resistance tests, transistors, etc., I can verify that all energy through the computer is as it should. I spent maybe 30 minutes on Google without success, and finally I decided to try everything. I started with the new ram without success. I tried all the silly little "trouble shooting tips" HP has for this laptop. I'm running a little more than 2 hours working on this seemingly useless task when I finally managed to make it work.
I did about 3 - 5 times now and it works every time.
First I remove all the ram and then turn it on. (of course it doesn't)
Turn the power off.
Then remove the processor and turn it on. (attention)
Disable.
Put the processer back in and turn it on. (still not working)
Disable.
Put the ram back in and turn on.
That's what I did and it works every time for me.
Since I was only 17 and a little short on money I can't go just around portable computers purchase like these with this problem and test this further.
If anyone has this problem please try this and let me know.
Oh and HP. thank you very much your 'support' really helped me... at the expense of my portfolio.
Oh and one thing...
I did the 'live chat' and they said that my laptop having is not a display might be due to my hard drive or the motherboard.
1. the hard drive would not effect my monitor does not. Or on a hard disk of the computer AFTER.
2. except when he said to the motherboard he also lies the processor he was wrong, once again.
3. it is a faulty laptop and I know other people have had this problem I hope, they read this insead of wasting their time with "HP support".

Lookout 6.5 new opening of session/logoff feature does not save
I am pleased to see that Lookout 6.5 has a new feature of opening/closing of session - but I'm having a little success with it. I use Lookout 6.5 Integrator on a new PC running Windows 7 Professional. If I go to $System connections and double click on the Member writable logon, Lookout will dim and hangs. Once, I have restarted lookout and return to the $System connections, if I type "Logon" in the field select and click Select, then I can connect a push-button, and the connection is confirmed in the list of existing connections. The work of connection - I can bring to the top of the window to logon with the push button. So far so good. One of the first things I noticed is that when I do in this respect an asterisk (which denotes a change in the file) does NOT appear next to the file name of the process back to the search window. If I go to File\Save - save is not fat - indicating that there is no change in the file. If I go to file/save money - I can save the process, but the connection of the connection is not registered. If I stop Lookout and restart the process file - the connection of the connection is not there. ????

I find that using a push button and changing its source remote session opening, works push button (displays the logon window), but the button remains pressed.
As a workaround, I used a sequencer, triggered by the push button; output sequencer A is connected to the opening of the session, and then a second later sequencer output B gives a FALSE key to make it pop back. To connect to logon at the exit of the sequencer, I manually changed the file .lks with the text required, then re-setting the process file. He little s a diverted route, but now it works well.

Hello, a newbie here.
Bought an Aspire S7-392. Upgrade to Windows 8.1. Partitioned the SSD to 2 discs. The Intel RST displays error that the SDD0 may have some errors that could cause data problems.
I chatted with representatives of acer support. He advised me to reinstall Windows 8, restore factory default. Has made the whole process back to 8.1. TSRI error persists. To speak with another representative from ACER who told me to just ignore it! and I wasn't expecting. Now I don't know what kind of trouble I could end up with.
Let me know of any recommendation.

I don't know if it is a hardware or software RAID0, but if a RAID0 fails, you cannot start even to your OS, since the data are split in two between the 2 "array disks" and lose 1 disc means you have lost 50% of your data. (very basic explanation)
so I think it's a mistake to false, but if your system has a hardware RAID, you can check the condition before starting the system.
EDIT: give it a reboot and check if the error reappears.

It is rare you rec had a drive to purchase.
Toshiba uses a recovery Partition to reinstall Vista from.
You press 0 (zero) on startup with a Toshiba to start the recovery process back to the factory settings (how you bought).
Some manufacturers have more available Vista recovery disks.
If this happens, you may need to try this instead:
You can also borrow and use a Microsoft Vista DVD, which contains the files for the different editions of Vista (Home Basic, Home Premium, Business and Ultimate) must be installed. The product key on your computer / Laptop box determines what Edition is installed.
Other manufacturers recovery DVDs are should not be used for this purpose.
And you need to know the version of 'bit' for Vista, as 32-bit and 64-bit editions come on different DVDs

BootMGR is missing and system restore hangs
Hi my computer is having some major problems.i have an elite of HP Pavilion with windows vista (home I think?) 32-bit. I started this morning to find that he said 'impossible to start windows' and then I ran the unsuccessful startup repair. I ran system restore to try to solve the problem, but after he reformatted the hard drive, it bluescreened so now it's saying "BootMGR is Missing". my computer did not come with restore disks, so I borrowed one from a friend and he told me that there is no OS and it can't fix the Restorer of the system. Help, please

Looks like you may have a hardware problem
and if the recovery process back to factory settings vista does not work, you will need to contact the computer manufacturer

You can't just borrow anybodys vista recovery disk
manufacturer's recovery disks are the brand and the specific model
for HP, press F11 at startup to start the recovery process
or contact HP and ask them to send you in vista recovery disks to reinstall the operating system back as it was when you bought it
they do it for a nominal cost of $
or borrow a vista microsoft dvd
Make sure that you borrow the correct 32-bit or 64-bit microsoft dvd to your computer
they contain all versions of vista
This is the product key that determines which version of vista is installed

my parents computer is completely broke down. additional hours it's on there now only ask for records of the facilities. the computer never came with any disks and the recovery discs have never made. the computer is a compaq pressario sr5601uk - under HP. I can't tell anyone their but have been put on an external site on disks in the order of their Web site. I'm confused why drives must be purchased came computer with disks and they could be resettled as many times as you wish. Secondly I am reluctant to order from the external site recommended by HP I have read anything else that negative feedback on the disks never turn upwards.

If the recovery disks is never came with your hp compaq hp would normally put a recovery partition on your hard drive to your machine to the standards of the factory
with hp compaqs normally press the F11 key at startup to start the recovery process back to factory standards
If that does not start the process you need to contact hp and get the recovery media

I did a battery pull to my curve and after restarting, my applications disappeared. They are not uninstalled, simply disappeared.
I can see them on my list of aplications, but nowhere else... no icons, nothing in the files, I went from themes, only went to another battery...
So, where does all this went? notifications always appear on my main screen, but I can't access my apps!

Ok. Something is definitely broken here.
My suggestion. Plug in the Desktop Manager and go into the application loader. Specific applications are loaded?
try to remove/time.
If you are concerned about this process backs up everything first.
If they are not in the list of the app. your backup device, delete them from your phone via the list of applications, and then reinstall it.
This could be a simple compatibility issue after the update.
